I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Another great book from some of my favorite authors. Highly recommend to friends and family.

Loved all three short stories. What’s not to love when you combine cowboys, mystery and their companion which was a wolf. The stories were short, but packed lots of punch. All three authors did an outstanding job on drawing the reader into the story.
Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for an ARC of this book for an honest opinion.

I have read numerous books by all of these authors and I really enjoyed this trio of cowboy romances. I felt that each book was individualistic enough that reading the stories in succession did not get boring or repetitive.

This collection of novellas is about 3 individuals who are relative recluses and live almost solitary lives until the right women make their way through various reasons into their worlds.

COLORADO COWBOY by DIANA PALMER is about Esther Marist who is on the run after witnessing her boyfriend killing her mother, Butch Mattews an ex-army amputee, now wildlife rehabilitator, who takes her in and gives her shelter. He has a quite few wolves who he is rehabilitating. This story was the weakest of the three with a lot of procrastinating and illogical reasoning that will make you want to pull your hair out or then go what? why? what the heck! - 1 star

THE WOLF ON HER DOORSTEP by KATE PEARCE is about ex-Navy SEAL Connor O’Neal's pet wolf seeking out his landlady Beth Baker. She finds him in a haze of fever due to an injury, nurses him back to health, and let's just say the rest is history. Predictable but an entertaining enough read. - 3 stars

RESCUE: COWBOY STYLE by REBECCA ZANETTI is about Trent Logan who pretty much lives the cowboy lifestyle with his ranch and Cattle club and ex-military friends. Hallie manages to find herself in the middle of his club, while on the run from the people pursuing her. And since Trent is the alpha of the pack/club he's going to make sure he and his brothers keep her safe. Probably the best story in the entire anthology - 4 stars

This is a collection of three Novella written by different authors that are Cowboy Romance Suspense. I have not read much for any of the authors before this book. The first novella in this book is Colorado Cowboy by Diana Palmer (5 Stars). I really love this story. The characters grow on me so fast, and I really love the action in this book. I feel it was well written with a plot. I could not put this book down. The next novella in this book was The Wolf on Her Doorstep by Kate Pearce (4 Stars). This story was my less favorite of these three story, but I still enjoyed it so much. This is a fast moving romance with a lot of suspense. The characters where ok, but I wanted a little bit more character developed. I love the storyline. Overall, this is a fast pace action packed romance book with a lot of twist and turns. The three novella in the book is Rescue: Cowboy Style by Rebecca Zanetti (5 Stars). I loved this book, and the characters in this story was everything. There was not a ton of action or suspense in this book, but I did not need it in this book. This was a cute (hate to love) romance story. In this story the character was everything in this storyline. There was so much in this super short book. Overall, I really enjoy this book as a whole. I was kindly provided an e-copy of this book by the publisher (Zebra) or author (Diana Palmer, Kate Pearce, and Rebecca Zanetti) via NetGalley, so I can give honest review about how I feel about this book. I want to send a big Thank you to them for that.

NOTE - I only read Rescue: Cowboy Style by Rebecca Zanetti

4 stars!

This is such a great read. It’s a quick-moving novella, but it’s an exciting and intriguing introduction to a new world from one of my favourite authors, with a fantastically alpha romance, and I really enjoyed it!

Hallie is literally running for her life when she crashes her car in a storm in the middle of Wyoming and ends up stumbling into what looks like an MC clubhouse… except it’s populated by cowboys. Mega-alpha-cowboy Trent takes one look at the dripping wet city girl and knows he doesn’t want to let her get away, so he sets her up in his house working for him while her car is repaired, while he gets to the bottom of what she’s running from, and while he works hard to convince her to stay.

"Never, in his entire life, had he felt something so right as Hallie against him. “Would it completely freak you out if I admitted that you’re tempting me to actually keep you?”

It’s a fun set-up, and all kinds of entertaining as our alpha hero lays his claim and goes about making all kinds of “my woman” declarations. Thankfully, Hallie isn’t too opposed, and the chemistry between the two of them sizzles as she literally moves into his life. And even though it’s fast moving, I could feel the connection between them, and was fully on board as their feelings grew.

“It’s too fast and it’s too crazy, but you make me believe it’s possible.”

But first, they have to deal with whatever Hallie is running from. Luckily, Trent and his ‘brothers’ are a bunch of ex-military badasses starting a new life as cowboys, while quietly working as vigilantes. They’ve all been through hell, with a complex and intriguing backstory, and I loved getting to know the group, who are as close as family, living free and living wild.

"If it can be ridden, we will ride it."

The boys all come together to take Trent (and Hallie’s) backs, as they deal with the threat against her, so we get a little bit of mystery suspense, but it all happens while Trent and Halle fall together. It’s quick-moving, but there are still issues they need to work through, thankfully it’s not too dramatic, and we get an intense and entertaining love story that is really gorgeous, and an epilogue to finish off the story beautifully.

“I’m not sure why, but it seems like people who’ve been through pain, who’ve survived it, know what they need when they see it. Know what they want. You’re in here.” He put her hand on his chest. “Whether we understand it or not, you’re right there, and I’m not letting you go.”
“Maybe I’m not letting you go,” she whispered.

The detailed introduction to some of the boys and hints of future stories, makes this novella read like the intro to a new series from Rebecca Zanetti, and if that’s the case, I am here for it! This is a great bunch of characters, the premise of their story is fascinating, and I would be so excited to read more.

I loved this one – 4 stars!

I loved this trio of books, but RESCUE: COWBOY STYLE by REBECCA ZANETTI was my favorite of the three stories. The first two books were short and sweet (COLORADO COWBOY by DIANA PALMER and THE WOLF ON HER DOORSTEP by KATE PEARCE), but the book by Zanetti was swoon worthy. It had just enough mystery, romance, suspense, camaraderie and beautiful scenery to keep me coming back for more. I have never read a book by Zanetti before, but I will most definitely add her to my reading list. I hope she writes books about the other cowboys in this one - they would each make wonderful subjects of future brooding cowboy books.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. The opinions stated above are mine without biases.

Three novellas make up this book. Authors, Diana Palmer, Rebecca Zanetti, and Kate Pearce make a good trio with Strong haracters and a wolf in each story. These are all new releases written for this book. The men are all loners until the ladies show up and help them realize they can live in the real world. I am familiar with these three authors and enjoy their full length books. I received a copy of this ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review.

I really enjoyed each of these stories. I liked how short each story was, you really get sucked into the story quickly. I thought each is well written and interesting. I am hopeful that Rebecca Zanetti's will turn into a series. It has the feel of a first book for a new series. Wonderful job ladies!

You can't go wrong with cowboys! This anthology is full of sexy, brooding cowboys with a sprinkling of suspense and romance. I enjoyed the stories and was able to read a couple authors I hadn't read before, which is perfect if you're trying out authors to see if you'll enjoy their writing.

While I read all three author's books, I believed I was invited to read this as a member of Kate Pearces' review crew. Pearce and Palmer are masters of the western romance and in their contributions, the reader is invited to return to the special small towns that they have created, revisiting some established characters and introducing new ones. The previous books that I have read form Zanetti were mostly special ops- so she brought them out west. All 3 stories are new for this volume. The connection is that each have a wolf as a companion.

While reading Palmer's book, I thought it was a reprint because the characters did not seem current and Esther just seemed too naive to be real. The only character I remember from the previous book is Toe Toes, the wolf. This is not one of Palmer's best.

I love Pearce's Morgantown series and this fit right in. I think Beth Baker had been mentioned before, but here she and her 2 teenager sons come to life. Conner is new (I think).

Zanetti's contribution is the first in a new series about a group of men who became brothers when they were held and tortured by some foreign mercenary. They escaped and came to Wyoming to build a cattle ranch, while still helping people on the side. I am looking forward to reading the next in the series.

As I said at the beginning, I read an ARC that I received from NetGalley.com. This is my unbiased and voluntary review.

Three very good stories that kept me turning pages. I will say when you move you find all kinds of good things like this book. The stories are COLORADO COWBOY by DIANA PALMER, THE WOLF ON HER DOORSTEP by KATE PEARCE, and RESCUE: COWBOY STYLE by REBECCA ZANETTI. I know I will read again. I would recommend this book.

Nice trio of stories with trends in common with each one. One of the authors was new to me and the others I've read before. As far as short stories go, I found them all enjoyable. In general, short stories always feel a little "unfinished" for me because I just want them to be longer but they were definitely worth your time in reading. I would recommend!

Got an ARC via Netgalley.

These 3 stories have something in common. Wolves.

I love how each story is unraveled. They were simple and romantic that it was impossible to put it down.

The one that I really enjoyed was Rebbeca's book. Yes, I know that I am biased, but knowing that RESCUE: COWBOY STYLE, is the 1st book of her new series and I am looking forward to the next book of her new series.

Lone Wolf is an anthology of three new standalone western romances involving a cowboy, a wolf, and a damsel in distress. Fresh and full of adventure, romance and fun, they are all worthy reads.

In Diana Palmer’s “Colorado Cowboy”, innocent Esther is fleeing her mother’s killer and ends up at a remote cabin inhabited by Butch and his wolf. This tale is classic Diana Palmer all the way. A super sweet tale of romance and intrigue.

In “The Wolf on Her Doorstep” by Kate Pearce, Beth is beckoned by a coworker and a wolf to check on and save her grumpy tenant, Conner. In doing so she must put her own chaotic life and troubles on hold. Through a beautifully woven tale of love and forgiveness, they end up saving each other. (Not a spoiler! These are all Romances! Complete with HEAs.)

And in “Rescue: Cowboy Style” by Rebecca Zanetti, drenched damsel Hallie is on the run and fleeing danger when she follows a wolf and ends up at Trent’s Cattle Club doorway. This comedic tale of romantic adventure had me laughing out loud. Definitely a must read for all Zanetti fans.

Overall, I enjoyed it. I've read all the authors before and each of the stories were enjoyable but I've read better from the authors.

A book with three of my favorite authors!

Lots of romance in all of them, some have more drama than others but I enjoyed all the stories and sure hope that Cowboy Rescue Style by Rebecca Zanetti is the start of a series! I loved the back story on how their group was organized and would love to hear more about the other "brothers" in this group. Especially Zeke, did he ever find love with the local veterinarian?

Loved that I could read the stories in one sitting and save the others for later!
