I have read all of Matt Haig’s books. I had already read The Midnight Library before the edition and recommended it to our book club.
It is hard sometime to get people to talk about a book beyond ‘I did / didn’t like it’ So these are great prompts for discussion. It interest also hear the author intention and weather we picked up on them or not. I try to pick books for the book club that have discussion notes, but they are not always available. A good read is still a good read and I have to go for that. Thanks to the author and publishers for this extra mile.

An excellent resource that offers interesting discussion points for book clubs. It allows the reader to think more deeply about the book. As a huge fan, I particularly enjoyed the author Q&A section.

I have not yet read The Midnight Library by Matt Haig.

This book club kit is the perfect companion to the book. It asks thought provoking questions that let you take a deeper dive into the book. I enjoyed the Q&A with the author.

I think this will definitely enhance the reader's experience with reading Midnight Library!

I'm so grateful Matt Haig, Penguin Random House Library Resources, and NetGalley for providing me with a free copy of this ARC ebook in exchange for my honest review.

A great find. Offers interesting discussion points for any book club. Reading through this helped me think more deeply about the novel and offered some new perspective that I had not considered.

An excellent source for more information about how The Midnight Library came to be. There is a great discussion with the author regarding where his ideas for the book originated. There were nuggets of gold! One for me was that he originally saw the narrator as male, and why his vision ultimately changed. I loved how he used this platform to talk about his own issues with depression and anxiety, including how they became part of this story. I read this book kit on my IPad and my only criticism is that it was difficult to read the discussion questions in light green font. I consider this a very helpful and enlightening companion to the book.

Absolutly loved this! I used the kit in our online bookgroup and we all thought the questions are well thought trough and relevant to the story.
We had a discussion about the book before hand and now we did a new discussion based on the kit. Really wonderful to see we went far dieper into the book than in our first discussion.

This was a great reading guide. I liked learning more about Matt’s reasons as to why he wrote this book and how it’s therapeutic for him.

Just reading The Midnight Library with my zoom book club. This is an amazing resource to prompt discussion in our currently boring world where nobody has anything to talk about. Thank you Matt Haig

I was not very familiar with these kits, but I really liked the organization of the questions and the layout is very well done aesthetically and for easy reference. Great resource for book clubs!

I read The Midnight Library last year and absolutely loved it! This book would be an amazing book club pick and the book club kit will be a great discussion-started with the 8 questions offered for members of various book clubs. The questions guide the reader on how to explore certain themes more in-depth, but also get to know other book club members a bit better by answering the "what-would-you-do" questions.

Since I didn't read this as part of a book club, I mostly enjoyed the author Q&A included in the kit that answered some of the author questions I had and helped me better understand why the author made certain choices for his characters and plot.

I haven't actually read The Midnight Library just yet but I have heard so much about it and I just wanted to see what kinds of themes/topics I should be be aware of when for when I do pick up the book and this kit was very helpful. Plus Q and A's with authors are really exciting insightful.

I didn't realize this was a book club kit - I haven't read the book yet and don't have a book club, so while it's interesting to me, it's not something that will come in super handy just yet.

I received this book from netgalley for an honest review

Omg wow! No wonder everyone keeps talking about it. The world building and characters are flawless.

This is a book club kit and is perfect as my book club is discussing this book this week! There are 8 questions that are designed to prompt discussion based on the book and then a short Q&A with the author to provide more insight as to his writing process and creation of this book.

I enjoyed the author Q&A (for example, he was going to make the main character male?!) and I think the questions provided are great (although I would have loved to seen the author's answers)!

The Midnight Library has been on everyone's to-read lists lately, and has been a pretty popular book club pick. This book club kit includes discussion questions and an interview with the author, Matt Haig.

I hoped that this kit would give me different insight into this book, which I found difficult to talk about. The discussion questions included here are mostly personal or philosophical in nature rather than about the novel itself. I could see this kit working well for a book club with people who are comfortable with each other, but wouldn't necessarily recommend it for groups that don't know each other well enough to be vulnerable.

This is just a comprehensive kit for book clubs. I was under the impression it was the actual book. I’m a little disappointed because I didn’t read the book so I can not use these kit.
