This was a great kit to go with the book! I think book clubs will definitely get a lot out of this and it was very informative.

Definitely not my cup of tea but was an interesting read I guess. Some of the words and context used to describe what was happening didn't resonate right with me. I can't picture picking it up again but maybe someday in the future.

"That is just me. I add nothing. I am wallowing in self-pity."
This line was a small thing I could relate to at a point in my life however, I didn't anticipate reading about it.

“The only way to learn is to live”
A strong tip you can give anyone who is somewhat struggling but it won't always work. When it does, go on the adventure with them. It's true. We learn through living and make mistakes by living too. No better way to fix what you did wrong than by doing it again and changing a key point.

“She realized that she hadn’t tried to end her life because she was miserable, but because she had managed to convince herself that there was no way out of her misery.”

I loved The Midnight Library, and these book club questions are excellent. I used them with my own book club, and we all found them to be insightful and fun to answer and discuss.

This book is a tough one for me specifically because I felt it was a bit contrived in the message. As someone who has struggled deeply with my mental health and knows people who have attempted ending their lives it was a hard read. That being said I thought the concept and world building of the library was fantastic and whimsical, and really got my imagination going. However the theme of choices and the implications they have on life is a bit to laid out for my taste. I believe it could’ve been more nuanced especially considering the levity of the story and the struggles the main character is going through.

I finished read the Midnight Library couple months ago and I really wish I have this kit those time.
In here we got some materials worth to make our book clubs discussion alive. First part is about series of questions that the answers could be key lead to everyone life experiences discussion too.
The second part is exclusive interview with the author from what come from his inspiration to write this book and some other else.
I found this book kit is interesting and complimentary reading the real book.

I did not understand that this was only the book club kit and not the book itself. As I haven't read the book, the kit is not of use to me. My apologies, but thank you for allowing me access to it.

This is a mix for me. This book may attract viewers in a personal perspective while others may find it boring. There were parts that I found repetitive and could’ve shorten the story. I can’t say I love it or hate it. It was a very interesting read.

(I'm not an easily triggered person but I do think this needed a trigger warning since it deals with suicide very heavily)
From the description I understood it was a story of different lives of different people and how they might entwine, I was a bit disappointed when it turned out to be just one person, but it was ok, its well told however it get a bit boring when she notices she doesn't really like any of her lives.
Then it kind of turns into a self help book somehow, self help its important and Ive read a few of those but its just not what I signed in for when choosing this book.
Ill give it 3 stars cuz I did like the story and the idea of the library, also it was very interesting to see how it was her who didn't really like, not her life.

I was emotionally and mentally stimulated by this book and it is one that I will not part with and when I need reminding that things could be much worse, I shall pick it up and read parts again. I cannot say who I would recommend this book to because in my mind it is a book with nothing to dislike about it but, like I admitted we can't all like the same things. If you have questions about yourself and how your life could be better and have nothing but regrets maybe this book will give you a little of the insight that you need to reevaluate yourself and your life and hopefully see that things could be worse and that life is truly worth living.

The Book Club Kit for THE MIDNIGHT LIBRARY by Matt Haig is a good addition to the book & would make discussing this book at a bookclub meeting so much easier. This book would be ideal to discuss in a close group. The included questions will provide an easy framework for discussing the book and the things highlighted by it. It’s an excellent resource. The Q & A with the author is nice, it’s a little interview that will share a bit about the author. I always think that learning more about the author enriches my reading experience of a book.
Thank you to NetGalley for the complimentary copy of the book in exchange for my honest review.

This book club kit was very well put together. I thought the questions were thought out well.
I also enjoyed the section with the author, it gives you a different perspective of the book.

I really like having the social media icons and handles at the end, gives the readers a way to connect with the author.

5⭐️ Book Club Kit!

I thought that this was a decent read. I was expecting a little bit more out of it, though I did like the idea of parallel universe and how the main character grew and learned with each life that she had chosen.

TW: suicide, cancer, death, drugs, and alcohol

The discussion questions were helpful for the book club.

The design of this is really cool! I enjoyed the graphic elements a lot. I also liked that it included discussion questions and an interview with the author. Would be a good companion for reading this in a book club!

I knew I would like this book from the very first page. The plot is imaginative, unique, and interesting! I found myself folding down numerous pages with little words of wisdom that I will carry with me. I may be a bit biased as I do love Matt Haig's writing. :) Highly recommend, especially for first time readers of Haig's work.
