I was excited to view this Book Club Kit, as I run a book club of my own and am often looking for discussion guides for our bi-monthly meetings.
The design of this resource is so aesthetically pleasing. I would love to have copies of this for each of the women in my group just because of its beauty!
I really enjoyed the cocktail recipes that went along with the themes of the book. It was a great touch! I also very much liked the discussion questions as they can spark conversations that can go on and on.
I did not feel the coloring page was necessary.

This book was an EYE OPENER. I really enjoyed the story and reading from someone else perspective in that situation. I flew through this book so quickly and immediately posted about it and recommended it to everyone! I look forward to reading more books from Reid!
*Also, the cover is SO PRETTY.

I thought this was going to be the actual book. Yes, I know it says that it isn't in the description, but apparently I can't read. Still a nice set of questions though, one that I plan on using and consulting once I actually read the book.

This book club kit is a perfect companion for this book. With some insightful questions and even some themed cocktail recipes this is a perfect addition to a book club discussion.
Thank you Netgalley for this.

This guide will be awesome to have for a book club discussion! In addition to a reader's guide, and a conversation with the author Kiley Reid, it includes a cover coloring page and some character-themed cocktails! This will be great to have if my book club decides to read Such a Fun Age in the future! And we can all make the cocktails to drink during our meeting!

These discussion questions were very insightful, and very approachable for all types of readers. A great addition to this title. The conversation with Kiley Reid was very interesting! I LOVED the addition of themed cocktail recipes and a coloring page. A very unique and unexpected treat, making this my favorite of the book club kits!

Pros: Such a Fun Age was one of my favorite reads of 2020, and I'm disappointed it did not end up being a selection for the book club I lead. Even so, I enjoyed reading this book club kit because it was like having a mini book club . . . with just one member! The discussion questions were very thoughtful. I expected the questions to continually ask about race, but I appreciated how they encouraged readers to talk about many social aspects of this book including socio-economic status, motherhood, employer-employee relationships in addition to race. As this is Kiley Reid's first novel, I was very interested to read the Q&A section and learn more about her and the background for creating this novel. I am excited to know that this will be adapted into a screenplay. I think a book club could have fun casting the movie. Also, the character-themed cocktails were a fun added bonus! These would be perfect for a hostess to make for a book club.
Cons: The coloring page felt a bit like filler to make this kit longer. However, I can also see a book club having a few of the suggested cocktails and coloring while discussing the book! A coloring page also feels like something Emira would have done with Briar, so now I think this is actually a pro!
Thank you to NetGalley and Penguin Random House Library Resources for the opportunity to read this book club kit! I've read several of these kits and enjoy each one and how they uniquely reflect the book.

This book was everything to me! The character development and writing were excellent. A great representation on race differences in relationships. The book makes you think while also rooting for the characters to do the right things and prove you wrong. Emira, the main character has been one of my favorite and most thought about characters in a long time. Would recommend everyone read this thought-provoking book at some point.
Thank you NetGalley and Kiley Reid for this copy!

Here’s a new one. Not a book review (I did love Such a Fun Age), but a book club kit for the book. It includes a two drinks inspired by the two main characters, Emira and Alix, a bunch of questions for discussion in your group, and interview with Kiley Reid, and a printable coloring page of the cover.
There aren’t many social aspects of life that I miss during the pandemic, but this kit made me want to have a book club where we drink and color while talking about the book. Maybe goals for after all of this is over. Maybe I’ll be the badass leader of an intersectional feminist book club where we read everything from steampunk to thoughtful, literary fiction. Goals, I guess.
This made me want to seek out more book club kits for inspiration, and for wishful thinking. 🙂

I have not yet read Such a Fun Age by Kiley Reid.
This book club kit is the perfect companion to the book. It asks thought provoking questions that let you take a deeper dive into the book. I enjoyed the Q&A with the author. There are also some fun cocktail recipes included! There is also a fun surprise at the end!
I think this will definitely enhance the reader's experience with reading Such a Fun Age!
I'm so grateful Kiley Reid, Penguin Random House Library Resources, and NetGalley for providing me with a free copy of this ARC ebook in exchange for my honest review.

I am giving this 3 stars because it is very short and if you had to actually pay money for this book, it does not give a lot of extra material. If the price was right, this would be an okay resource for a book club. However, in my opinion, there just isn't a lot of questions for an actual book club. The book has some questions and then an interview with the author.

I devoured Such a Fun Age last year, and the discussion questions and Q&A in this resource are perfect to help lead a book club discussion, especially as it will inevitably center on race. The coloring page and drink recipes are fun too!

This made a great addition to book club discussion! The kit included cocktail recipes and a fun coloring page, along with very thought provoking questions. I really enjoyed reading the interview with the author and getting a bit of insight into the motivations for writing this book. I highly recommend!

The Book Club Kit for Such a Fun Age includes cocktail recipes, book club questions and a discussion with the author.
I really enjoyed this book. So I think that the idea of having a book club kit is such a great idea. This way actual book clubs can read this and have their discussion questions ready.

The Such a Fun Age Book Club Kit includes three items - discussion questions, an interview with the author, and a "Color Your Own Cover." Having just finished the book, I found the discussion questions to be thought-provoking. I loved the coloring page as it really works for this cover! The interview with Kiley Reid was informative and provided some interesting context - she worked as a nanny!
I'd definitely recommend this book club kit for both solo readers who want to reflect more on the book and for book clubs.

This is a fun and informative book club kit!
This kit includes
- Character themed cocktails (I can’t wait to try them!)
- Discussion questions – This book is so thought provoking and I think these questions will give rise to insightful conversations on race and performative allyship.
- An interview with the author, Kiley Reid
- A coloring sheet of the book’s cover
The kit is great and would definitely be a great resource for any book club!

This book club kit includes: cocktail recipes based on the two female leads in Such a Fun Age, discussion questions, an interview with Author Kiley Reid, and a cover coloring page. The discussion questions included are good conversation starters, and I appreciated hearing more from the author. The drinks, questions, and activity definitely skew this kit towards a female audience, but are all still things I'd like to have if facilitating a group discussion about Such a Fun age. Though I maybe would have chosen different cocktails, this book makes me look forward to a time where we can have in person book club meetings again!

Love the drink recipes for the main characters. The discussion questions were good as was the author interview, but I wanted more. Did make me very interested in the book, however!

I appreciated the discussion questions that went along with this guide as well as the interview with the author. The recipes for mixed drinks won't be anything that I'd use with my book club, but I can't really fault them for including them since it is an interesting idea. It just doesn't work for me.

Great Book Club Kit as a supplement to Such a Fun Age! I read this book last year & it was nice to reflect upon a story that has stayed with me! The questions were provocative & really enjoyed the interview with Kiley Reid. The drink recipes were a nice addition too! Would definitely recommend for Book Clubs or anyone who wants to reflect on the book alone!
