A great sequel! Lots of action made this a quick read and there were a couple of twists I didn't see coming! And the book leaves you wondering what's to come in book 3!
As a note, I think even if you haven't read the first book in the series, you'll still be able to read book two because the author includes enough background information to get you caught up with the characters and past events.
