Luca is a king who doesn't want to be king. He hires PR pro Amy to cause a scandal to give him other options but doesn't count on falling in love. Lovely characters and storyline make this a very enjoyable read.

Another fantastic book by Dani Collins.
I read this one yesterday afternoon while I was enjoying the nice warmer weather on the patio.
I do highly recommend this.

To escape his role as king, Luca hires Amy to fabricate a sex scandal that will destroy his reputation. Neither expects the business relationship to turn to passion. When the situation escalates beyond their control, will Amy be caught up in Luca's ruin?
I loved this book. The story strikes a good balance between character and plot. There's so much chemistry between Amy and Luca—she brings levity to his serious nature while still respecting his boundaries. He's respectful and caring, even if a little aloof at first. You can't help rooting for them to find their happy ending.
Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC I received. This is my honest and voluntary review.

Ways to Ruin a Royal Reputation by Dani Collins is an interesting tale filled with passion, drama. a breaking of rules, a royal romance, an attempt to right a wrong, and a scandal as Amy and Luca are drawn to each other by a magnetic attraction and off the charts sizzling chemistry. Luca, the king of Vallia, requests the help of Amy Miller, a powerful PR pro, to help him ruin his reputation. Luca never wanted to be named to the throne, after all his twin sister was older than him, but it was what his father decided. Luca believed his sister would be a better ruler and the only way he could be forced from the throne was an old fashion disgrace. Amy has repaired and revived the career of many stars; she could certainly find a way for Lucas to help a reluctant royal. These two are intensely attracted to each other from their initial meeting. A kiss or two leads these two to a night of pleasure and an unexpected scandal when a picture of them kissing on a balcony goes viral. Amy did not expect to star in Luca’s scandal. As seen in the picture, the heat between them is definitely not fake; showing the fireworks set off by their sizzling chemistry. Amy has a secret from her past that were well hidden, but when it is exposed, it could ruin any possibility of a future with Luca.
Ms Collins wrote a wonderful, passionate, emotional and intriguing story that is definitely not to be missed. She provided a tale rich with off the charts sizzling chemistry, intense emotions, and endearing characters giving Amy and Luca a chance at a future together. I highly recommend Ways to Ruin a Royal Reputation to other readers.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

This is the light hearted fun escape that I enjoy and the fact that Luca is a King just adds extra glitter to the millionaire heros typical of a harlequin Presents novel.
Luca is a king who feels outraged that his twin but older sister is passed over for the throne just because of her gender. Determined to right that wrong he has tried everything he knows until he comes to the conclusion he needs to be ruined in order for the council to take the steps to right the wrong. In comes PR Amy hired to help him construct the necessary press.
Amy however unfortunately ends up being the scandal though to be fair Luca is in instant lust and can't keep his hands off her. But Amy is one wily PR person. Can she craft a win-win?

4/5 Stars
** I received this as an E-ARC from NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for my honest review, Thank you!**
I had a great time reading this book. I didn't want to put it down. I loved the chemistry between the our two characters. I'm a sucker for any book where one of the characters were royalty so of course I enjoyed this aspect. Overall this was just well done. This for sure is one of my favorites.

Who doesn't love a royal love story? I loved the idea of ruining a figurehead and thought of all the fun that plot could be. I could appreciate Luca's request for being ruined and why he thought his sister would be better but it fell kind of short for me. There were some parts of the story that were unnecessary and extra characters that didn't really need to be on the page - what I mean is these scenes and characters didn't really add to the story.
If you have read harlequin before you know the format, the simple structure of the plots. I enjoyed Luca and Amy's story. The banter and chemistry was good and I really like how they addressed some feminist issues and how men should also take some responsibility.

I haven’t read a Harlequin book in a while and it was nice to come back. Dani Collins was and still is one of my favorite authors. Although the story of Amy and Luca was a little slow going and seemed much like other harlequin stories I enjoyed it. I look forward to more books from this author.

It's been a hot minute since I read a Harlequin romance so thank you to @netgalley and @harlequinbooks for sending me #HowToRuinARoyalReputation by #DaniCollins to read and review. This book releases on March 30th and is perfect for romance readers who like lust at first sight between a PR agent and a totally proper prince who needs to have his reputation destroyed because he wants to abdicate his throne to his sister. I really enjoyed how pro-feminist this romance was and the conversations that can be had about sex positivity, celebrities' right to privacy, statutory rape, and victim blaming. While it does hit on some hard topics, the plot never felt super heavy and was a perfectly light-hearted romance with lots of fun steamy scenes. The hard hitting topics just added some great depth to the plot.

It had been a while since I'd read a Presents, which used to be my favorite of the Harlequin Imprints, and unfortunately I felt a bit let down. Ways to Ruin a Royal Reputation was only okay for me. I thought that Luca was so selfish, especially considering he never really thought about what the consequences of ~the scandal~ could bring for Amy. And Amy was a bit of a doormat. I guess there was kind of this running theme of feminism - or whatever - but it rang so incredibly hollow the book would have been better without it. 3 stars.

Overall this was an enjoyable, yummy read. The premise is compelling from the start: Luca is a newly crowned young King who wants to abdicate the throne so his sister can rule. Their sexist father, who recently died, passed over his oldest child because she's female and appointed his son to rule instead. But Luca has supporters and a sterling reputation so he hires Amy, a PR specialist, to construct a scandal that will get him tossed from the throne. Of course things don't go as planned, and then there's a real scandal to be dealt with.
I liked the storyline and the sexual tension between Amy and Luca. They're both strong professionals who have resisted temptation in the past yet are struggling with their mutual attraction. It was a fast, easy read that kept me interested to see how it ended.
The downside is the writing is weak and the story is rushed. As much as I love to lose myself in a juicy romance novel, I had a hard time believing all of this happened in a matter of days. I would have appreciated a story that was drawn out longer to allow for more character development. With that being said, I still recommend this for readers of romance who are intrigued by the description.

Luca hires Amy to ruin his reputation. His goal is to allow his sister, the rightful heir to the throne to become queen. Amy is hesitant, after all, she builds relationships. She doesn't ruin them. One thing leads to another and she agrees. She succeeds in the job, but at the same time she destroys herself as well. Now it is time to try to be redeemed.
