This third installment of Fisher’s “Three Sisters Island” brings the trilogy to a satisfying conclusion....and a few thoughts to ponder. :-)

On grief —
“But the truth is that no matter how much time passes, those we’ve loved never slip away entirely.”

On love —
“Love is friendship set on fire.”

On doing it right —
“Doing it right make all the difference.”

On being grateful —
“A grateful heart protects you from worry...”

Enjoy!

Welcome back to Three Sisters Island! Picking up a few years later from the end of book two, this story focuses on Blaine, the youngest sister, as she returns from her overseas adventure. The rest of the family is still included, plus a few new characters to stir things up.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book, the next chapter of the Grayson family, as they continue to find their way forward at the camp and in their island community. Blaine's friend Jean-Paul was a delightful surprise, with his refreshing spiritual insights helping out in their relationship struggles. He was a real peacemaker.
The story is well written, with some flashbacks added to bring Blaine's heart tugging story out. I like how she would cling to Scriptures to help her not react in anger to her frustrating circumstances. She had grown so much through all of her difficulties. I could relate to her struggles on many levels. Family dynamics felt realistic, especially with their birth order personalities.
Recommend reading the series in order to fully enjoy it. Readers who like contemporary romance with some depth and faith will enjoy this book. Hoping it won't be the last. 4.5 stars

At Lighthouse point is a remarkable story that celebrates the bonds and friendships of sisters, the finest of love stories when a lifelong friendship catches fire, and of realizing a long-held dream in an unexpected but God purposed way.

This is the third in Suzanne Wood Fishers Three Sister's Island series and centers around Blaine, the youngest of the Grayson girls. It's a big blow to Blaine when she realizes that her hopes of starting up a fine dining experience at her family's camp won't be possible, and she struggles with how to let her family know without hurting and disappointing them AGAIN. Hiding away with Peg at The Lunch Counter in town, serving her culinary magic to the town's faithful lunch counter devotees, she begins to listen and learn from Peg's lifetime of wisdom. "Peg had two solutions to most of the problems in life: God loved her, and it was all going to be okay." "Life doesn't always turn out the way we plan." And then there is Blaine's odd friendship with French Jean-Paul, who accompanied Blaine home from Paris. Jean-Paul lends his unique French God speak to draw her slowly back to the realization that the Lord has left her but has been slowly guiding her to a new dream he has for her.

This is a multi-layered story featuring storylines for most of the Grayson family members. God's love and providence shine through each one. I recommend this novel to all who enjoy inspirational fiction, lighthouses, and a layered family tale. My thanks to the publisher and to NetGalley for an ARC for this, my honest review.

Although this is the third book in a series, it will work as a stand-alone. However, I did treat myself with a re-read of the second book, in preparation – something I never normally do, as there is not the time with so many new books to be read! Intending to only skim-read bk 2 as a refresher, I instead found I was reading it properly - & enjoying it just as much the second time ‘round as the first. Despite bk 3 being full of familiar characters, & with readers of the series pretty much knowing how they think the story will pan out, the author still manages to surprise (& thereby retain interest.) As previously, there are good life-lessons to be learned & it is also informative to see how some of the characters are maturing. I liked the reminder not to waste one’s words, but to save them for what is important. I also appreciate it being a ‘good, clean read’ – something which is becoming harder to come by, these days. Definitely worth reading!

The youngest of the Grayson sisters returns home after studying abroad with big plans to revitalize Camp Kicking Moose. But coming home is far from easy, as Blaine quickly finds out.

I loved this heartwarming family drama, that delves into the dynamics and the relationships between the various characters, friends and family members. One of my characters was Jean Paul who is an outgoing breath of fresh air, he is passionate about his faith and is excellent at encouraging and supporting others. I loved his selflessness, and how he quickly fits in with Blaine's family.

I really enjoyed how it follows all three of the sisters as they navigate life's challenges and joys, though I wish that there had been more time spent between Artie and Blaine. The author does and excellent job of bringing this beautiful setting to life, with a full cast of characters and a warm sense of community. A highly enjoyable read with a lot going on, and endearing characters.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

** “God will never give up on you, even if you give up on him. His purpose for your life continues, wherever you are.” **

Suzanne Woods Fisher continues the story of the Grayson sisters — this time with youngest sister Blaine — in “At Lighthouse Point,” the third installment of her Three Sisters Island series.

Taking place two years after the second book, “At Lighthouse Point” finds Blaine returning to the island with her French friend Jean-Paul after graduating from culinary school in Paris. Her dream to start a restaurant at her family’s camp is quickly shattered, though, when she finds not everything is up to snuff while disaster after disaster keeps happening.

In the meantime, her sisters Cam and Maddie are both pregnant and busy with their work — Maddie as a therapist and Cam continuing to make improvements to the island, including new and reliable power sources and adding a cell tower.

“At Lighthouse Point” is a refreshing story filled with love, drama, comedy, real family moments, and many words of wisdom. Fisher does a great job of developing characters that are relatable and flawed, fun and quirky, and truly delightful. Jean-Paul is a great addition to this cast of characters, with his new-found love of American sports and snacks, and his great treasure chest of wisdom — all while he seeks guidance for his own path in life.

The story also contains many great themes, like jealousy is a slippery slope that leads nowhere good; only God knows what is up in the lives of others; God is sovereign over all things; and limitations allow us to rely on God.

A huge theme is “pray and release” — we must strive to pray for God’s help and release our problems to Him.

You could read this as a standalone, but I would highly advise reading the first two novels.

Five stars out of five.

This was a wonderful addition to a beautiful series. I loved each book so much and was not disappointed in this one.
I loved the way the characters grew and developed. They have become amazing people that I would love to know in real life.

I enjoyed my third trip to charming Three Sisters Island, and hope it won't be my last. This book spotlights Blaine's story as the youngest of Paul's daughters, and the most affected by her mother's untimely death. I had previously viewed Blaine as kind of kind of shallow, but this installment helped me to understand her much better (and identify with her culinary interests...I plan to bake her Outrageously Fudgy Brownies SOON!). I began to see that Paul was not the heroic dad I first thought him to be. His cavalier attitude towards the repairs and remodeling at Camp Kicking Moose, not to mention his previously writing off his relationship with his father, opened my eyes to more of his responsibility for his family's struggles. Is it too much to hope that there will be a fourth book to tie up all the romances and babies and projects on Three Sisters Island?!

Jean-Paul was a very interesting addition to the household at Camp Kicking Moose, but I found all the "zis" and "zee" spellings of his accented English kind of distracting and childish. Not sure how to better communicate his voice, but this didn't work for me, as he is actually a very wise and deep young man. I did like his "pray and release" formula, as well as the faith element that runs through all of Fisher's books. I think every truly "happily ever after" must include seeking and finding God's wise plan for each of us. There is a darker flashback where Blaine realizes this truth with Jean-Paul's help, and I think it was handled well.

Grateful to the publisher for the early opportunity to read this book via Netgalley. I was not required to post a review, and my endorsement of this summery series is entirely my own.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Coming back to this island off the coast of Maine was like visiting one of those special places where the folks are genuine and

thunderstorms are like the legendary storms from childhood. Those storms just don't seem to last as long as those of old. Lessons are learned on this trip and they impact the entire extended Grayson family. At Lighthouse Point is the third book in Suzanne Woods Fisher's Three Sisters Island series. I have read and reviewed each book in this series, beginning with book one, On A Summer Tide and continued with On a Coastal Breeze and culminating with At Lighthouse Point. Paul Grayson has three daughters so it was fitting that Three Sisters Island was named for Cam, Maddie and Blaine. The series tells each daughter's story as they come into their own under the magic of this island and their unwavering faith.

As the family is reunited with Blaine's return from Paris, there is also a surprise visit from Paul's estranged father. On the surface, the family is a united front. Within the separate rooms of the big house, everyone has something weighing on their minds. Suzanne's talent at sorting things out shines through especially in this novel. I won't add any spoilers but I will share that this is a fitting end to a wonderful series about a family that rediscovers what it means to "be there" when you are needed most.

I thank #NetGalley and #Revell for an advance copy of this book. My opinions are mine to write and share. I recommend this book to all who enjoy contemporary Christian fiction.

This is the third book in the author's Three Sisters Island series, and I think it's actually my favorite!

Youngest sister Blaine may have had some growing up to do when she left the island to "find herself in Europe", but she also needed healing from some intense trauma that really came to the forefront during her trip. When she returns to the island two years later with her hard won diploma from Le Cordon Bleu and dear friend Jean-Paul in tow, Blaine finds a number of changes - not only on the island, but in her family and Camp Kicking Moose as well. Some of those changes cause Blaine to reassess her purpose and place in this world, and they also require her to fight to hold on to her newfound peace.

There are some lovely surprises and new visitors to the island, and it's fun to see the "progress" that has been made in the two years since we were last with this family. The author's delightful sense of humor shines through in this entire series, with the quirks of several characters just enough to be fun rather than simply strange :) You will definitely want to visit Three Sisters Island when you are done with this series!

"At Lighthouse Point" by Suzanne Woods Fisher
Tears and Joy – a Worthy Read
I really fell in love with all the good folks who inhabit this wee corner of the world. The sub-story you can almost miss, the difference one person can make in the lives of others even without conscious effort. Oh, yes, and this is a sweet clean story of family, friends, and community with their biases, fears, blind spots, memories of yesteryear and dreams for tomorrow. This is book 3 in the 'Three Sisters Island series', and yes, it can be read as a stand-alone book. Also, following the story are Questions for Discussion, and, the recipe for Blaine's Brownies. I am definitely going to make this recipe. A Worthy Read. Happy Reading ! !
This is my personal opinion of this book. Open your heart and mind and enjoy what this family can teach aka share with you. I know I learned, or was reminded of, a thing or two.
NOTE: I received an ARC of this book from the publisher via NetGalley.

Reading this book has made feel like I've come back home.
Well, really in a way we've never left because they're still in our hearts long after we finish each book.
I have enjoyed reading this series so much! I'm always excited to find out there's another book coming. I'm hoping that Paul will soon have his own story like each of the sisters did. This one is Blaine's
story and I really enjoyed it.
You know, there's been many a times that I have felt like Blaine. Looked over, felt deprived among many other feelings but I think the most of her feelings the one that hit home hardest was the jealousy that she sometimes felt towards Cam and Molly.
We all feel jealous of other people at one time or another.
In my opinion Blaine is the coolest sister of all. I thought it grand that she went after what she wanted. I liked that about her.
I like how Ms. Fisher has introduced us to Jean Paul and he is truly delightful. I could just picture his face at some of sayings in this book. They made me laugh. I really liked him
I also loved that the author has displayed the family's faith and love for each other throughout the story.
The closeness that I wished every family had in real life.
I give this book 5 stars.
I was sad when this book ended.
If you love a good read then you'll love this book. It's so good that you'll not want to put it down until it's finished.
I can't believe this is the end of this series ready but I'm looking forward to seeing what she comes out with next!
Her writing is just so awesome and she'll keep you spellbound everytime!
I highly recommend!
My thanks to Revell/Baker Publishing for a copy of this book. I was NOT required to write a positive review and all opinions are my own!

This book brings us back with dear friends, and we have updates, and surprises, and big surprises, and more.

Blaine is home from Paris and brought a friend with her, and we are there for the misadventures of her friend Jean Paul, he sure is unlucky, but full of wisdom.

I love being back on this island in Maine, and being with some of these colorful characters, and a very rundown camp. I would love to go to Peg Legg's diner, and hope Blaine was cooking that day!

If this is your first visit with this series, you will not be lost, but you will be back for more, these reads are that good!

I received this book through Net Galley and the Publisher Revell, and was not required to give a positive review.

At Lighthouse Point by Susan Fisher is the final installment in the series. This book wrapped up a lot of the storylines but I would have liked more of Blaine’s story with her best friend Artie who is now a doctor supporting the island. That was a very minor part of the book.

For those reading the series, you will enjoy the small finishing touches that the author adds. The sisters Cam and Maggie are included and you get to see some progress with their relationships. Blaine brings a friend from her Paris adventures that easily weaves in some great nuggets of truth.

'At Lighthouse Point' is certainly a powerful conclusion to the delightful 'Three Sisters Island' series by Suzanne Woods Fisher! I'm surely going to miss this beautiful isle on the coast of Maine—assaulting my senses with the scent of sea salt permeating the air, the screech of seagulls, and the whirring of lobster boats in the distance.

This series chronicles the lives and loves of three female siblings who oftentimes clash, but sisterly love always wins overall. Although it's not necessary to read the series in order (as the author does a great job at recapping), you'll surely want to! With a plot chock-full of colorful, multifaceted characters, whimsy, spiritual truths, romance, and plenty of angst...be sure to put 'At Lighthouse Point' high on your wishlist!

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Stars
I have read only a few of Suzanne Woods Fisher novels.
When I read the first story my comment was:
I had no idea I was going to like this book so much!! I love the characters and was anxious to see what was happening.

This is Book #3 in the Three Sisters Island series, I did not read the other two however, I found it didn't take long for me to get caught up.
Story continues with Blaine Grayson, who left Three Sister Sisters Island to travel through Europe two years ago returning from Paris with a diploma from Le Cordon Bleu. Her Dad a retired sports announcer used his 401(k) and other savings to buy an abandoned camp in a remote ghost town into a successful resort. Now Beth with her training is anxious to take the resort to the next level.
However, is disappointed to find that her family has surprised her by remodeling the kitchen into one that is beautiful but is very impractical for a restaurant kitchen.

“Ayup” I enjoyed this story! There is a Christian focus but not preachy nor overwhelming. I loved the advice of “Pray and release, Pray and release”. Yep sounds simple but not easy. I will say my “Please, Please” prayer but continue to worry like crazy. Fortunately my next prayer is usually “Thank You, Thank You, and Thank You!”
I was sure this story was going to be so predictable but loved there were some surprises! I am looking forward to the Suzanne Woods Fisher novel

Want to thank NetGalley and Revell for this eGalley. This file has been made available to me before publication in an early form for professional review purposes.
Publishing Release Date scheduled for May 4, 2021

At Lighthouse Point is my favorite of the Three Sisters Island series. Blaine has grown up and come home, bringing along Frenchman—Jean Paul—a delightful, accident prone young man. While her best friend, Artie, doctors Jean Paul underlying tension builds. Her sisters are both expecting, other family members are dealing with health issues, and her dad has a secret. Peg Legg and the other townspeople are back and they are not happy with oldest sister Cam’s push to update the island. The story’s many layers play out into a delightful story of family, friendship, faith and love. I enjoy the setting on a Maine island with a lighthouse and camp. If you enjoy family stories with a spiritual thread, you’ll love At Lighthouse Point. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Another great read about life on Three Sisters Island. To complicate things, Paul's father, absent for years due to an alcoholism addiction, shows up for a visit. It's a mystery as to why now.

The story is full of growth, faith, trust in the Lord, and a time to repairing relationships.

The author's descriptions of Three Sisters Island and the surrounding area painted a lovely picture of an unspoiled community. The characters in the book are down-to-earth with strengths and weaknesses affected by circumstances and love. I can't wait to read the next one.

I received a complimentary copy for the author and voluntarily choose to review it.

I so enjoyed returning to Three Sister's Island in Maine one last time and finding out what was going on with the Grayson family. A few new people are added (Granddad Grayson for one) and while this is Blaine's story we still get to see a lot of Camden and Maddie and their budding families. Suzanne does a beautiful job of weaving all three sister's stories together. It could probably be read as a stand alone but it's best read in order so that you can see the growth in all three girls.

There are lots of life lessons we learn with the help of Jean Paul, Blaine's new friend from Paris. My favorite was "Pray and Release". Everything is wrapped up quite satisfyingly which makes for one big happy ending.

Thank you Netgalley for the opportunity to read and review. In my opinion, you can't go wrong with a book by Suzanne Woods Fisher.
