I have loved this series! I hate to see it end, but I already have plans to reread it!

At Lighthouse Point is the last book in the Three Sisters Island series. Each book is the story of one of the three Grayson sisters, this is the story of the youngest sister, Blaine. She is a gifted chef who has just returned from Paris where she became a world class Le Cordon Bleu trained chef. She has her future all planned out. But soon realizes when she comes home to the island and to Camp Kicking Moose that nothing is going to be as she pictured.

She has also brought home her friend Jean-Paul as support. He is a very spiritual person and provides many insights throughout the book. This book really is a spiritual journey for Blaine and several other characters. I loved that the lessons that helped Blaine the most were that of being silent and self-control.

The sisters and the family are all involved in this story. It was great to follow Cam and Maddie and how their lives had progressed. I would have liked to have seen more interactions with Blaine and Artie though.

I don’t read Amish fiction but I have loved the way Suzanne Woods Fisher writes in these new genres lately.
And I love this title so much now that I've read the book!

There are some wonderful quotes in this book, ones I will not forget:

“If loved ones are with God and he is with us, they are not far away.”

“love is friendship on fire.”

“Pray and release.”

I recommend this book highly!
Thank you to Net Galley for allowing me to read this book. The opinions are entirely my own.

Blaine has always felt neglected when it comes to the family. Cam ran everything, Maddie tried to keep the peace, and her dad just went along with Cam’s decisions. Blaine went to Paris to decide what she wanted to do with her life and after two years she is back home with a culinary degree with honors. She expected to be able to design her dream kitchen at the family’s campgrounds and start in as chef. Cam has renovated the kitchen without her. Cam thinks it is great but has no idea how a well-run kitchen should look. To her family’s surprise, Blaine brings Jean-Paul along, whom she says is not her boyfriend. Jean-Paul is with Blaine to contemplate what he wants to do with his life and in doing so, manages to be the voice of reason for all. With help from God, Jean-Paul manages to bring out the best in the Grayson family. This is a wonderful book with colorful characters and interesting lives. They have a lot to learn about life and love.

This is the third book in the Three Sisters Island series. I have not read the first 2 books so it took me a little bit to figure out who everyone was and how they were connected but once I did, I was hooked!

The story mainly centers around Blaine who is the youngest of 3 girls. She feels disconnected from her sisters and has gone to Paris for 2 years to have a break from her family. She comes back with a culinary degree and the plan to launch her fathers restaurant at the lodge. There have been some unexpected hurdles.

Blaine brings her friend Jean Paul home with her and he is my favorite character in the book. He is so wise and encouraging to the people he interacts with.

Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the arc. The opinions are my own.

This is the 3rd book in a series. I haven't read the other two books, but that didn't effect this storyline - it was easy to pick up what had happened in the prior stories. I would like to go back and read the first two books after reading this one.

Blaine is home from Paris, after Le Cordon Bleu schooling, to take over the kitchen at her father's summer camp. However, a lot of obstacles are in her way - a mostly absent grandfather shows up the day she returns, Jean-Paul comes with her from Paris to find himself, the kitchen is crazy, her pregnant sisters are a handful, a new puppy in the house, and her ex-boyfriend. She decides to do something for herself, a dream she has and has the most unlikely support. It's a crazy story of mishaps and finding your way.

Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher, and the author for a temporary digital ARC for my review.

I was looking forward to the last novel in this series and it definitely didn't disappoint. It's been great getting to know these characters during this series and I loved getting to know more about Blaine and her story. This was a story of trusting God and healing from old wounds. I will greatly miss Three Sisters Island and the Grayson family.

Third book in the series about 3 sisters island. A great book, dealing with past pain and forgiveness. Have read all three, and highly recommend this book and author. Makes a small island in Maine sound endearing.

Thanks Netgalley for allowing me to read this book. Blaine comes home to her small town after spending two years abroad. She ended up graduating from a well known cooking school. Blaine is not sure how she likes the changes that have happened. I enjoyed the many characters

I loved this return to Three Sisters Island and reading Blaine’s story. Blaine, the youngest of the three sisters, seemed unfocused and irresponsible in the previous books. In her story, we meet the grown up Blaine and learn a lot about her history and character. She’s come back to Three Sisters Island to take her place in the family summer camp and open a restaurant. Of course, it doesn’t go as planned! This story has plenty of depth, explores the concepts of grief, forgiveness, faith, family, and following your dreams. I loved it!

Another home run for the Greyson sisters! This time, we follow Blaine on her soul-searching journey from Paris to Maine....as well as the Parisian boy she brings home to help (or does he help her?) find his path. All our favorite characters are back, and there are some really BIG surprises in store for the family! I know that we've read about all three sisters now, but there just HAS to be a fourth book in this series so we can catch up with them another year or two down the road...

Thank you NetGalley for allowing me the opportunity to review this title.

I loved this book. I have greatly enjoyed the journey that I have taken in this series and this title did not disappoint. I do suggest reading these titles in order, so you can get the story from the beginning. Quick reads!

The characters are easy to love, but I think my favorites are the three daughters, Cam, Maddie and Blaine. They are all so unique. It has been a joy to watch them grow and all land where God has placed them in life. Also, it is amazing to realize that God places the right people in your life at the right time.

I am ready for book 4!

Wonderful!

this is a wonderful story, second chances , forgiveness, and finding what is really important . Blaine is the youngest of three girls, she went to France to find herself, now she is back but have things changed or is she still treated as the baby i was given a copy of the book by netgalley but this is an honest review. there are many layers to the story, both her sisters are going to have babies, and Cam the oldest does what she thinks is good for everyone wither they agree or not, Blaine bring a friend with her and as they are getting off the ferry and walking the family is there to meet them and then they see their grandfather who they have not seen in years, and he passes out right on top of the guy that came from France. so all of these people are living under the same roof at the camp their father has bought and is opening that summer. if you like romance stories and the angst of what happens in a small town on an island and in misunderstandings you will want to read the book

I have to say that I am enjoying the new fiction that Suzanne Woods Fisher is writing. While I have always enjoyed her Amish fiction, this contemporary Christian fiction showcases her writing talents in new and satisfying ways for her readers.
At Lighthouse Point is the third and final novel of the Three Sisters Island series, taking place on Three Sisters Island in Maine. While all three sisters of the Grayson family are important characters in this book, the focus is on the youngest sister, Blaine. She's been in Paris for the last two years at Le Cordon Bleu school of cooking and is returning home. She's brought with her a friend she met in Paris who helped her at a time when she was at her lowest, and even helped her into the school and to find a job.

There is a bit of a formula to the book, but only in the sense that the whole boy meets girl, falls for girl, loses girl all happened before the plot begins. Suzanne has also brought some new characters into the story that only add to the flavor of the book. Some of these characters have history with the Grayson family, including Granddad Grayson, who had never been around since Blaine was five years old.

One of the things Suzanne does well throughout this series is she gives rise to each girl's voice and perspective in the book that centers on each girl. Blaine's perspective is somewhat misunderstood by her sisters, but it is explained through the inclusion of Blaine's memories. What Blaine finds through the events in the story is that her dream can be attained and it is a welcome accomplishment for her.

Jean-Paul, the friend visiting from Paris, is the cause of some tension between Blaine and an old friend, Artie. Blaine has always loved Artie, but he frosts her out at every turn until they finally have a chance to sit down and talk about what separated them in the first place. Jean-Paul is the voice of reason throughout the book, giving sage advice that is always biblically based, in spite of the many accidents that happen to him.

This is a five star book, two thumbs up, and a melt-in-your-mouth brownie to eat while you read.

Revell Publishing and NetGalley.com provided the copy I read for this review. All opinions expressed are solely and wholly my own.

AT..LIGHTHOUSE..POINT
...Suzanne Wood Fisher
The third book about Blaine, leaving and fulfilling her dream of being a culinary chef. Returning two years later to a tiny island in Maine, she loved, it was remote a world by itself. .To find the prosperity that had come to the island, the big yacht and sisters expecting. Introduces us to Jean-Paul and a grandfather, and finding Artie now a doctor. Giving her a cold shoulder for things hadn’t gone well with them before leaving.
A story of changes, believing in God and his plans and in herself and coming back to be enveloped with family and this island. Beautiful flowing story to read and enjoy. Given ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion

Suzanne Woods Fisher has recently become one of my favorite authors, and I love how she can so effortlessly write so many different genres. I've loved every book of hers I've ever picked up, but I have to be honest and say that her Three Sisters Island series is my favorite. I've enjoyed getting to follow along on the Grayson family's tumultuous journey from buying a run down summer camp on a small Maine island to trying to turn it into a successful summer resort. I've enjoyed reading about Paul, Maddie and Cam; but I've been eagerly anticipating Blaine getting her own story. Her character has grown and changed so much throughout the series, and I couldn't wait to see where the author was going to end her journey.

Now I don't want to give away too many details, as I truly feel that At Lighthouse Point is a book you need to read for yourself to truly appreciate, but I definitely feel that Suzanne Woods Fisher saved the best for last in this favorite series. I adored Blaine's quest to find where she belonged, and I surprised myself by loving Jean-Paul's addition to the series. Rarely have I read about a character having such a big heart for others, and I loved how he's such a big part of bringing the family together. While I went into this one expecting to love reading about Blaine and Artie, I really appreciated that they weren't the only focus of the story. As well as Jean-Paul, another new character is introduced to the reader in this one, Paul Grayson's dad, and it was another endearing moment seeing the family trying to cope with such a tough familial dynamic.

One thing I definitely have to mention as well is that I love how realistically this author chooses to tell her stories. I've long loved getting a sneak peak into previous characters' lives in series like this, but I've noticed a disheartening trend lately: rarely do they ever seem "real" and instead seem to be living a fairy tale life where everything goes perfectly after saying I do. Suzanne Woods Fisher does not do this with her characters. Instead, we witness two couples who love each other very much, but are struggling to handle everything together that insists on coming their way.

The Three Sisters Island series remains one of my favorites, and this third and final edition in the trilogy is my favorite of the three. We see Blaine growing into the person God wants her to be, we see family learning how to love and grow together, and we see the impact that this beautiful island has had on the entire family's relationship.

I can't possibly recommend this one enough, and I know I'm going to have to reread this entire series in the future as I truly adored it.

Final Rating: 5/5.

Thanks so much to Revell for allowing me to advance read and review this!

I voluntarily read and reviewed a complimentary advance reader copy of this novel from the publisher (Revell) via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. I was not required to give a positive review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
