Taylor Adams delivers with another fast-paced thriller with a bold heroine! Lena’s twin sister Cambry has supposedly committed suicide and everyone seems to accept this except for Lena. She knows something isn’t right and stops at literally nothing to confront, who she suspects, is her sisters’ murderer.
Lena is smart, motivated, and maybe even has some sort of a death wish trying to piece together Cambry’s final hours.
This book took off from the first page and never stopped. Full of twists, turns, and psychological games, Adams has once again set the bar high for all other thrillers to come.

Thank you to the publisher for providing me a copy for an honest review

Hairpin Bridge is an adrenaline rush from the first page to the very last. Lena goes to search out the truth after her twin sister Cambry supposedly jumped to her death off Hairpin Bridge. Her only hint was the name of Officer Raycevic. Lena goes to interview the Officer, to find the truth but things aren’t adding up. Will a search for the truth end up in a fight to the death?

HUGE thanks to William Morrow and Netgalley for this eARC!

Just like in Adams' previous book, No Exit, I was stressed out before I even got to 25% of the book in the best way. I don't know how so many random fears of mine can be put into one book but here we are. I thought this was extremely fast paced and definitely kept me engaged until the end (I finished this in less than 24 hours). I loved that the lead was a strong, smart, and quick AF female protagonist. However I felt really confused throughout a lot of this, and the connections between all of the mishaps didn't click for me. It felt a lot like when you have a dream that is a little weird but you think it makes sense at the time, until you go to tell someone else about it and you realize how random and out of control it actually is. The ending was really good in one aspect (won't spoil anything) but also I still felt confused overall. Definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a quick thrill or a book that will pull you out of a slump.

Posting this review to GR and Netgalley now. Will post to IG on pub date 06/15/2021.

Omg this book! First No Exit gave me a phobia of rest stops now this one is with bridges!! Lena Nguyen lost her twin sister, Cambry, to suicide. But Lena knows her best and feels there is more to her death so she drives out to Montana and meets with State Trooper Ray Raycevic. Records show that Ray had pulled Cambry over for speeding one hour before her death. Ray appears to be sympathetic and forth coming to Lena’s questions, but very quickly things change, Ray’s story doesn’t add up & Lena came prepared! Once again the author writes with intensity and gives us a strong female protagonist! I read this in a day, it’s fast paced and suspenseful. Thank you to William Morrow, Custom House, NetGalley, and the author for a gifted copy. This is my honest review.
