Everly Swan once again gets involved with a murder case when her friend Matt is accused of murdering his rival. I enjoy the series, but I think it is time Everly spends time in jail. Grady finds her places that she shouldn't be at. The killer leaves her threats and vandalizes her property. The only thing keeping her out of jail is for relationship with Granny and the fact she is the mayor's niece. Anybody else would have been arrested by now.

I was kindly provided an e-copy of this book by the publisher and/or author via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

A charming and delightfully entertaining series. This one got off to a slow start for me, but by the end I was in tears and laughing. Our lovely protagonist has quite a collection of former boyfriends that have been long lasting and loyal friends. A warm and loving group of relatives and friends. Thanks to the publisher for providing a copy via NetGalley. I look forward to reading the next one.

This may just be Bree Baker's best Seaside Cafe Mystery yet! I loved the intrigue and the drama and really enjoyed all the details of the Outer Banks and The Lost Colony play. I'm already counting down the days until her next release. It can't come soon enough!

Thank you NetGalley, Bree Baker and Poisoned Pen Press for the ARC of Partners in Lime. This is my personal review.
It felt good to be back with Everly in Charm, North Carolina. Opening this book, I knew I was going to be taken into a mystery and all Everly has to go through to solve the murder. This series just keeps getting better and better with every book. I cannot wait for the next book in the series to come out.

A quiet period of time means Everly Swan is happy running her tea shop and starting a romantic relationship with Detective Grady Hays. Charm, North Carolina and the nearby beach towns are excited to host pro surfers and a theater production. Things go wrong when obnoxious surfing pro Kai is found murdered on the beach shortly after arguing with Everly's paramedic friend Matt. Everly is determined to help clear Matt despite Grady's insistence that the evidence is piling up against Matt. But the killer send Everly messages to stop snooping. But Everly is not thwarted by the threatening video, messages in the sand or a close call with a hit-&-run driver.

Everly is also preoccupied with some unwanted competition from a newly opened posh teashop in Charm. As she goes in disguise to check out her new business rival, Everly once again finds herself in the gossipy crosshairs of the Town Charmer blog.

This was another fun entry in the Seaside Cafe mystery series.

I received a digital ARC from Netgalley and Poisoned Pen Press/SOURCEBOOKS with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily rea

Partners in Lime is the sixth installment in the Seaside Café mystery series by Bree Baker a.k.a. Julie Anne Lindsey. Let me just start by saying that this series is the one that got me hooked on reading cozy mysteries.
Everly Swan owns an iced tea shop in a historic Victorian home on the beach in the Outer Banks. When Matt, a close friend and former beau, is accused of murdering his old surfing rival, she can’t help but investigate. Her current boyfriend Detective Grady Hayes isn’t as sure of Matt’s innocence, and tries unsuccessfully to keep Everly out of the investigation. This book is full of charming characters, a quaint seaside town, plenty of red herrings, twists and turns to the mystery, and great chemistry and banter between Everly and the handsome detective . I love how this author writes characters with relatable issues and insecurities that the average reader can relate to. I feel like I have so much in common with Everly Swan! I can’t wait for the next book to come out!

When the Lost Colony rehearsal turns deadly Everly decides she needs to help number one suspect Matt even though it threatens her relationship with boyfriend Dectective Hays. As the clues and threats pile up Everly knows she is in danger but just cannot let Matt lose everything because he is being falsely accused.

I have read and enjoyed all the books in this series. The story has mystery, romance and humor. The protagonist is relatable as a caring person that struggles with her self confidence and there is a great cast of secondary characters. Thanks to Poisoned Pen Press and NetGalley for a complimentary book. The opinions expressed are my own.

Another great book in the series! The main female character is very likeable and her beach theme cafe is fantastic. The mystery was interesting. I'm glad Everly and Grandy are finally figuring out their relationship. I'm looking forward to the next in the series!

I read in one of the many book groups I belong to on social media that this series was ending. However, there is one more book forthcoming next year. It piqued my interest so I had to read the newest one. While I haven’t read the others in the series, I wasn’t lost in the story. I love the setting in the Outer Banks. Every has a good heart and she’s loyal. I love Grady, his cowboy hat, and his black truck. I have the previous books on my never ending TBR list. Make sure you don’t miss out on this one. I love the seagull with shades on the cover.

Aargh! That ending better be what I think it is, or I will be might unhappy! Fun book. Everly is a little frustrating sometimes, but I love her and Grady. Didn't see the ending coming. The next book can't come soon enough!

Visiting Charm, North Carolina, is always a treat, breezy fun and filled with engaging characters. Everly Swan's life is definitely on an upswing. Her tea shop is tjriving and her love life improving. But when a murder takes places and her ex is implicated, Everly does everything to help clear his name, even to yhe point of jeopardizing her new relationship. While I like Everly, her nosiness is off the charts. No wonder her boyfriend gets mad. Still it is well written with a lively plot with just enough red herrings to keep you guessing.

I am really enjoying the books this latest installment had me wondering who was the one I didn't expect it to be Locke. The book is written really well with adventure at every turn. Know I am waiting on hearing what Grady is going to say say Everly. Can't wait to find out what happens....

I generally love the Seaside Cafe Mysteries but I can’t give this one five stars. This time Everly came off as obsessive about looking into the murder of a man she didn’t even know, Kia Larsen.
She didn’t give any thought to how Grady might feel about how cozy she was with Matt. She didn’t think through any of her actions, which had terrible consequences late in the book.
I love the setting on the OuterBanks, North Carolina. I like Everly, Aunt Claire, Aunt Fran, Denise, Grady, and Amelia, all the main characters. I like Matt, Wyatt and Ryan, the men who are supposed to be peripheral to Everly’s relationship with Grady. Everly self sabotages and then pulls out the reasoning that it is the family curse.
I cried at one point, an emotional reaction to the culmination of pieces of stories past and present in this series. This is a good book, a great book with one problem - Everly needs to realize she is responsible for her actions and can make a different choice, she doesn’t have to go whichever way her thoughts are heading.
I am definitely reading the next book and I hope Everly gains some maturity in her decision making at some point.

This is the sixth book in this series. They really do need to be read in order to understand all of the back story. This is a fun, well developed cozy mystery that Baker's fans will adore!

Didn't enjoy this one, it felt contrived from the beginning and never improved. Story was predictable, characters were bland, and I was bored. I admit it, did not finish the book there are just too many good books out there to read.

A cozy mystery series I will continue reading! I love the cast of characters, and the island setting is a character itself. Can't wait to see how relationships development in this small town.

Everly doesn't believe her friend Matt, a paramedic, shot Kai, a surfer, with a longbow but everyone else, including her beau Det. Grady Hays does. Sort of. Set in Charm, on the Outer Banks, this latest installment in a series which is perfectly fine as a standalone is a classic cozy with not only murder but also turmoil in Everly's life. Who could have predicted that someone else would open competing tea shop or that social media would cause lots of problems? The characters and atmospherics are good and the mystery just twisty enough. Thanks to netgalley for the ARC. I'm looking forward to more.

Another delightful visit to the small town of Charm and, as always, makes me crave iced tea. I liked the mystery, the romance heating up between Everly and Grady, and the general small town vibe. This one ended on a bit of a cliffhanger so I'm already looking forward to the next book.
