The sixth book in the Seaside Cafe cozy series was charming as usual. Partners in Lime is as quaint as the pervious five, can stand alone but the others give context to the well developed characters. Bree Baker has this series on lock and I can’t wait for more.

Another heart-racing instalment in the Seaside Café Mystery series. This is the 6th book and I confess to not enjoying it as much as the previous ones. I used to really like Everly but she's becoming a bit obnoxious and self-involved. The dialogue with her boyfriend reveals an arrogance and selfishness about her need to investigate that I didn't notice in the beginning. Hopefully she'll become more thoughtful towards Grady. The great-aunts are still wonderful, although featured less, and the town of Charm is still charming. I will continue to gobble this series up whenever a new book is published.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read this book.

This has become a favorite series in my list! I need more and soon!
Everly is a friend that everyone needs to have. She is so loyal and protective of family and friends. In this one when Matt is under suspicion of murder she jumps in to help.
I loved this mystery, characters and the town of Charm!

I received an ARC of the book in exchange for an honest review.

Seems things are going well with Everly’s iced tea shop as she dates the handsome detective. But soon things take an icy turn when a pro surfer is found dead on the beach with a theatre prop.

Things point o Everly’s friend is the main suspect which will cause tension between her and the detective. She will be back sleuthing to prove he friend’s innocence despite she has new competition of a new a tea rival.

A quenching cozy read to delight the readers.

Oh my goodness! I need to know more, can’t wait for next book to come out!

I loved this instalment, had just the right amount of intrigue, suspense and even romance. I am so sad that the series ends soon. I wish the publishers would change their minds.

As I have said before one of my favourite things about the books is the sense of family, friendship and how the community comes together. This time was no different , Everly tries to clear Matt of Murder by asking questions which land her in hot water with Grady. I just love all the characters and could totally see them in a hallmark mystery on tv.

I highly recommend this series to all my cozy mystery loving friends

I requested and received an Advanced Readers Copy from Poison Pen Press and NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

We return to Charm, North Carolina where Everly Swan runs her tea shop. Everly and detective Grady Hayes are finally together! But things are not going smoothly for the two when Everly gets involved in solving the murder of a pro surfer. Her good friend Matt is suspected and Everly knows he is innocent. I love everything about this series. Even the little things like Everly's dislike of her fitness bracelet. I love her aunts and especially the gift from Aunt Fran. This series is so good. It has amazing characters that you can't help but root for, I thought the mystery was good. I didn't suspect the killer at all. There was one point where the author had my heart in my stomach but the ending somewhat redeemed it. I can't wait to read the next book even though I know it will be the last. I don't want it to end.

A cozy mystery set in a beach community with plenty of charming characters. The sixth title in the series.

Everly and her cop boyfriend Grady are at it again. When a body is found dead on the shore they both have ideas on who did it. He thinks it was her ex, she does not. A good cozy mystery. It's the 6th in the series, but can be read alone. A good summer read, and one I would recommend.

The title is nice, but quite a stretch.

For some reason I didn't enjoy this outing as much as the ones in the past. Maybe Everly's life seems a little too perfect to me this time around. I know some would question how I can say perfect given a few things in her life. But, here she has the most perfect family members and friends, including her ex. As usual, she gets herself into some serious trouble. I would have thought after 5 previous bouts of almost getting axed that she'd learn something.

The mystery still kept me interested, though I think it's one of those mysteries where there aren't really any clues the reader can follow and really know who the killer is. Tome, the killer basically outed themself.

I'm still looking forward to the new book in this series. 3.5/5.0

Publisher's blurb is pretty good, and the story does work as a stand alone. Everly Swan operates a tea shop in her small town filled with relatives and friends. She seems to have inherited a family "curse" in which the beloved of a Swan woman is doomed to a short life. Well, Everly has loving feelings for the town police detective and friend feelings for the local EMT (retired pro surfer). A pro surfer shows up in town and turns out to be the EMT's old enemy. When the guy turns up dead all the apparent evidence appears to point to the EMT. Let the sleuthing begin! Good story for a summer afternoon with all its twists and red herrings.
I requested and received a free temporary ebook copy from Poisoned Pen Press via NetGalley. Thank you!

I love this series by Bree Baker, and was excited to see NetGalley offering an advanced readers copy.

Generally, these can be read as stand-alones, but I highly recommend enjoying the whole series. This book, in particular is best suited as a continuing story. Everly has hit a point where she realizes things must change if she truly wants things to work with Grady. It’s not quite as carefree as the preceding books in the series.

Overall, this is a fun book. It was great to revisit the well-developed relationships and characters in this series. The murder mystery left me unable to guess whodunit, and I enjoyed not being able to predict the ending. A good, fun read!

Back To Charm….
The sixth Seaside Cafe mystery and Everly Swan is determined to enjoy the Summer fun planned for the delightful island of Charm this year. All does run to plan, however, when a pro surfer turns up dead on the beach. Everly soon finds herself not only trying to get to the bottom of a mystery but also trying to clear someone’s name. Enjoyable, lighthearted cosy mystery with a likeable protagonist, a colourful cast of supporting characters and a picturesque backdrop. Some ideal Summer escapism.

Everly Swan and Grady are doing well. Months of dating and things are sailing right along. Until another murder happens in the area and Everly’s friend, and ex, is the prime suspect. Can Everly and Grady’s budding relationship handle her sleuthing and putting herself in danger yet again? A friend in need will never walk alone with Everly on their side, but at what cost?

I adore this series! From Lou and Maggie to Aunts Fran and Clara to Grady and his son, they’re all well developed, likable and relatable. How can I ever miss a trip to the charming town of Charm? This is one of my must read series!
