My 6 year old son's review: "I want to build a library too! With a comfy chair and so many books and lots of snacks!"

My review: I thought this was a really cute story. It was everything a child imagines a library to be and I especially loved the added touch of all the story book characters helping to build the library. The words in all capitals added a necessary emphasis. The story also had all those perfectly bright colors that attract little eyes which I really loved.

This is such a fun colorful book! Such vibrant colors were chosen, and I really enjoyed the simplicity of the pictures and story. This book had diverse characters, and this book is the perfect book for any booklovers child!

Fun, entertaining story!
Books for her.
Books for him.
Books for them.
Books for everyone and anyone...even giants!
Whimsical, bright and engaging illustrations.
Encourages the importance of imagination.
Many thanks to NetGalley, the publisher and author for the opportunity to read this book for my honest opinion. All opinions expressed are my own.

Thank you to Netgalley and Capstone for this ARC in exchange for my review.

So You Want To Build a Library is such an adorable childrens book. A book about more books, how can you go wrong? Besides just having a blast reading the story (complete with giants, dragons, and ice cream), kids can also use their imagination to think of what else they would want in their own perfect library. I'm looking forward to getting a copy of this book for my daughter....though I'm a little worried about what may get torn apart in our house for building materials after we read the book.

As a reading teacher whose ambition is to get kids to love reading, I think this is such a wonderful book! It gives the opportunity for kids to imagine creating their own library and/or cozy reading space. I love how the illustration adds so much cute and interesting details to the story. Can’t wait to get a copy for my classroom!

This is such an adorable book to get kids excited for the library and to have them train their imaginative muscles.

This children's book is certainly lively and the title immediately appealed to both my children and I as we really enjoy reading. While my kids enjoyed the active nature of the book, I thought it was a bit too stimulating. I noticed they did get distracted at some points. I did not care for the second person narration and the writing itself wasn't especially unique. Instead of conveying why one would want to build a library, it seemed to excessively focus on everything they would add to the library that was not books, which wasn't what I was expecting. The story was still cute and entertaining enough, but it wouldn't be a book I would purchase for our home library.

If you love books when you were very young, you probably enjoyed going to the library and getting more books. Maybe even dreamed of having your own library to organize and share your books with others.

What does it take to build a library? This colorful illustrated book on the love books and reading will stir up the imagination of your child. A enjoyable book to read!

A special thank you to Capstone and Netgalley for the ARC and the opportunity to post an honest review

Who doesn't want to build a library? Especially with a dining room table and little brother?
Love all the pictures and colors. Lots of creative ideas. Great read.

It's lovely! A book all about the perfect library with everything you want such as a tub and a very comfy seat. It's illustrated in a beautiful, delightful way. It's not the best children's book I've ever come across but I would recommend it.

In "So You Want To Build a Library" we are taken on a journey of one kid building a library perfect for themselves. I loved it! I loved reading as a kid and wanted a place where all my favourite characters and the comfiest reading nooks were. I think the book is cute with lots of humorous and detailed drawings that tell the story more than the actual words do.

Okay, can I work in this library? I feel like I'd be the perfect librarian to work with dragons and a full-service Sundae Bar (!!!! yes please!).

This book was super cute and I always love a good picture book about loving your library! Fun and bright illustrations, I would recommend this to family's who are just introducing their children to the library or use it in a storytime with school visits for younger kids to encourage them to come to the library (although I couldn't promise them ice cream, unfortunately).

I would buy this for our collection!

I was disappointed in this book, as it could've been just a bit better. I wish the author would've talked about why the library had comfy places to read and escape, not just discussing adding things to the library. It is cute, but not one I'd add to my personal collection.

Absolutely adorable! This story is about a girl who imagines building her perfect library. It includes ladders, slides, and even a sundae bar! The writing is magical and the pages are colorful. Little readers will devour this book and will dream of their own perfect library. The possibilities are endless. I can see this book being read over and over again. Very enjoyable!

This book was adorable! As a child I was fascinated with libraries and wanted to spend all my free time there. I loved being around other people who loved books as much as I did. I would recommend this children's books to any of my friends with children. I would love to build my own little library and have this book in there for children to borrow!

A cute book about a little girl who wants to build a huge library so she recruits all the fictional characters in her books to help her build one. What would you add to the library? Bright and colorful illustrations make this a wonderful read for kids of all ages. I highly recommend it. Thanks so much to #netgalley for the early review copy.
