The third book in the Heart’s Landing series, and it did not disappoint! A Waterfront Wedding by Leigh Duncan took me back to Hearts Landing for another beautiful wedding and some new romance.

The quaint town of Heart’s Landing is easily pictured with Duncan’s super descriptive and lyrical writing. In this book we are introduced to Evelyn and Ryan. They are both competing to have their venue as the host of the Wedding in a Week contest winners. They grew up together but drifted apart, and I love when people get a second change at love. I also enjoyed the military wedding.

While I have read all of the books to date and in order, Duncan does an incredible job of rehashing anything that a new reader to the series would need to know. Just like the rest of the books in the series, it can be read as a standalone or as part of the series.

The narrated version of this book was great. Karissa Vacker does an amazing job with her voices and emotions throughout the entire story.

Unlike many series, every single one of these books has been featured on my blog and Instagram. They are just so beautiful written and stand out among their companions. I REALLY hope that Hallmark will make all of these into movies. Also, it has been a year since I read the first one and about nine months since the second one, but this one may be my favourite in the series.

I received an eARC from Hallmark Publishing and an advanced audiobook copy from Dreamscape Media through NetGalley. All opinions are 100% my own.

Would recommend this wonderful book. Loved the story. Hopefully Hallmark will make this into a movie. Can’t go wrong with Hallmark books. Thank you.

A town totally devoted to destination weddings. A competition between two former childhood friends. A wedding prize for a couple. Some family issues. A sweet, charming, clean romance. I could totally see this as a Hallmark movie. Lots of fun wedding details that I overlooked when I got married. Wish I could have a do over. This was my first visit to Heart's Landing. Thanks to the publisher for providing a copy via NetGalley.

Sweet, HEA romance just as you’d expect from Hallmark. Childhood friends Evelyn and Ryan are now grownups working in the wedding industry at Heart’s Landing. As I read the book I had no trouble envisioning the quaint town, shops all centered around the town square (minus its signature tree due to a storm), and all catering to couples from around the world who travel there for their weddings.

Evelyn ad Ryan are competing for their venues to host the Wedding in a week contest. Each has a lot to lose but they soon find they also have a lot to gain if they are open to the possibility of love.

Thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this book, but my opinions are my own.

Just as a Hallmark book/movie should be, this book is sweet, clean and leaves the reader with a soft sigh. This one is a second chance romance where both liked the other in their youth but never dated. The setting sounds amazing and I want to go there even though I'm already married. Which locale would be my choice for a wedding (or other event)? I'd have a hard time choosing since it all sounds so picturesque. I could envision it all as if it were a movie. Lovely.

No sex, language or violence

If you love Hallmark movies, you’ll fall in love with A Waterfront Wedding! This is the first novel I’ve read by Leigh Duncan, and it did not disappoint. Being new to Leigh Duncan, I’m also new to the delightful town of Heart’s Landing. I loved the setting! This is the third book in the series, but it was very enjoyable as a standalone.

We know that love is in the air for Evelyn Heart, but how is the question. Will keeping her eye on the prize of getting her family’s wedding venue chosen by a couple who won their dream wedding keep her from seeing a love interest right in front of her?

If you love all things weddings, you’ll be glad you picked up A Waterfront Wedding!

Thank you, Leigh Duncan, Hallmark Publishing, and NetGalley for the advance reader copy in exchange for my honest review.

Evelyn is filling in her for her brother and his wife at the esteemed Captain's Cottage, helping brides and grooms plan the perfect wedding in the Heart's Landing - a town devoted to the perfect wedding experience. The only thing missing from town is a waterfront wedding site...until Evelyn's childhood friend Ryan restores the historic Boat Works and turns it into a possible competitor for Captain's Cottage. When Ryan and Evelyn are asked to chaperone a young couple through a "Wedding in a Week" promotion, they grow closer to each other, but the competition to win the couple's choice for venue heats up too!

While this is in a series of wedding books by Leigh Duncan, new readers can read it alone and still enjoy the experience (and go back for more)! I enjoyed the main characters experiencing the wedding planning experience along with the young couple and still this this would make a great movie series for Hallmark Channel!

Thank you NetGalley, Leigh Duncan and Hallmark Publishing for the ARC of A Waterfront Wedding. This is my personal review.
The setting of the story is Heart’s Landing and is known as America’s Top Wedding Destination! The author has done a magnificent job describing the town and everything about it. I could feel myself there as I was reading.
The characters are all so likable. The story is a wonderful romance that will leave you glad you read this book. It is filled with friendship, love, romance and the community is filled with people who make the town a great place to belong.
A Waterfront Landing is the third book in A Heart's Landing series.

Romance, clean; contemporary Hallmark movie adaptation
Clean romance, Jenny is an assistant to her cousin, a famous movie star. In order to keep her cousin's wedding plans secret, she pretends she is the bride planning her wedding in Heart's Landing. The town's wedding venues and businesses are always looking for a "True" Heart's Landing Bride. Jenny's kind, genuine, sweet personality, have Nick and the other vendor's labeling her a "True" bride and making concessions to help her have her dream/ideal wedding. As her cousin repeatedly changes her mind, things get tense. Nick helps Jenny with 'her' wedding plans, the vendors, and making decisions, and takes her around Hearts Landing, and just to help her decompress. Nick fights his attraction to an 'engaged' woman, as he spends time with Jenny, he can't help but lose his heart to Jenny. Genuine, honest, characters, with sweet chemistry, fun, unique romantic setting, Jenny and Nick's romance and fall was a fun escape read. More of a 3.5 for me as a reader.

I received this book in exchange with f a honest review... This is the third book in this series. All 3 have the same sweet, romantic feel to them. It is well written and you find yourself really rooting for the characters and wanting things to work out for them, much like with a Hallmark movie! Definitely read this if you are looking for a quick, feel good book. It’s the perfect spring
read !

I thoroughly enjoy this series. Do you suppose there really is a town totally devoted to weddings? A nice addition as all of Duncan's books are. Escapism at its' finest..

3.5 stars rounded up to 4

Weddings are fun and so is spring time by the ocean so it was a good fluffy book for late March.
I didn't like this one as much as the first one.

The Wedding in a Week contest was a cute idea to mix up the "local falls in love with city girl" of the last two books. I felt bad for this very young couple who was clearly overwhelmed with the attention and the commitment of marriage. .

I didn't like how the vendor choices didn't coordinate with each other. So at the end, this "choose your own adventure" becomes a mishmash of colors and themes. I wish the main guy had stuck to his guns and kept the original name, The Boat Works, for his venue. Harbor View Weddings is too generic (but almost too simple for a town full of punny names)

Once again, Rhode Island becomes much bigger in fiction than reality as snacks and GPS are needed to drive to Newport for a quick errand. I live in MA and can get to Newport and back for a dinner with friends with no problem but for people in Heart Landing, it's like driving cross country. I get that traffic can be bad on the weekends in the summer but on a Thursday morning in May?

Finally, Hallmark, there is no need to include a recipe in every book. This lamb dish is just mentioned in passing once or twice. No one eats this recipe in the story. Although I suppose it is better than the first book in this series where the main character hates lemon, but the recipe is for lemon bars.

*I received an advance copy of this book from NetGalley and the publisher and I am required to disclose that in my review in compliance with federal law.*

Waterfront Wedding by Leigh Duncan is the third in a series by this author. While I have not read the first two, I can tell you this book is a stand alone story. I didn’t have to read the other two in order to enjoy this one.

The author’s setting is beautiful and can easily appear in the readers minds eye. I felt that it was a very realistic beautiful waterfront setting in Rhode Island. The town is called “Heart’s Landing’. According to the story it is ‘America’s Top Wedding Destination. The description of the different shops, venues and scenery are very well written.

The characters are very likeable. The relationships between the characters were enjoyable and there was a huge sense of community. It seems that all the venues and stores in Heart’s Landing are willing to do anything to give each Bride and Groom their dream wedding. They all work so cohesively and unselfishly. (I guess that what makes it a Hallmark story) I really liked the two main characters. It was nice to see how they tried to help their hometown, their own wedding venues and the other shops in town.

I am not sure if there will be more in this series, I would hope there is. Leigh Duncan did a wonderful job in achieving the classic feel good story that Hallmark is known for. Well done.

Evelyn has taken over as manager of the best wedding venue location in Heart’s Landing while her cousin is away on his honeymoon. Captain’s Cottage is in the running to host the wedding of the summer in the Wedding In A Week contest featured in Weddings Today magazine. The problem is her competition is the newly renovated, waterfront venue operated by her childhood crush, Ryan. Evelyn and Ryan have to work together to show the happy couple around town and help them make decisions. Can they work together when each of them has something to lose if their venue isn’t selected? Only one person can be the winner. This novel was beautifully written in an idyllic setting. I enjoyed the character relationships and the sense of community in the book.

I loved this book! It's a sweet clean romance that perfect in every way. Beautiful scenery, wonderful characters, and sweet romance, what more could you ask for! Thank you Hallmark Publishing via NetGalley for the ARC copy of this book. All opinions expressed are my own.

I requested and received an advanced copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I have read the other sweet books in this series and was super excited to have the opportunity to request this book. I was not disappointed. This story is all about the new business that’s opening in Hearts Landing. Ryan has moved back to his hometown of Hearts Landing and has put every penny he has into purchasing and restoring the old Farley’s Boat Works. He’s always dreamt of offing the many brides that flock to the small town the opportunity to have a waterfront wedding.
Evelyn is in charge of The Captain’s Cottage, the most popular wedding venue in Hearts Landing, while her cousin is on his Honeymoon. Her and Ryan have a past, and now they are pitted against each other biding for the Wedding in a Week couple to select one of their venues for well publicized event. They are also required to work together to entertain and guide the lucky couple through the important pre-wedding preparations.
Ryan and Evelyn learn that they work really well together- in more ways than one!!!😉

Heart’s Landing stole my heart from the first book in the series and I was so excited to continue the series with A Waterfront Wedding. What a treat it is whenever that author references characters from past books like Jason and Tara and Jenny and Nick, however, Ryan and Evelyn truly stole the show in this book! (Note: you do not need to read the first two books to enjoy this one!)

As with any Hallmark book, I love picturing who I would cast in the movie version. Doing this allowed extra swooning during certain scenes, like when Ryan and Evelyn establish they're both single after they each jumped to conclusions about the other. So adorable! I loved their trip to Newport together and reminiscing about their younger days when they were friends. I would LOVE to have a Ryan in my life!

Throughout the whole book, I could picture the beautiful wedding that was being planned. A quick read that was as cute and loveable as its characters!

I loved going back to visit Heart's Landing to share with a Marine and his bride who are winners of the Wedding in a Week contest. Evelyn is in charge of the Captain's Cottage, her family's wedding venue. She has competition from a childhood crush Ryan who has restored an old boatyard as a waterfront wedding venue. There are the requisite number of mishaps, misconceptions and miscommunications that all combine to make a thoroughly delightful story. I highly recommend 'A Waterfront Wedding'.

This sweet Hallmark story has a great setting, Heart’s Landing, a historic coastal town devoted to weddings. It seems that this is part of a series. I have not read others and it didn’t hurt my enjoyment at all. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for allowing me to read this book. Evelyn works at a family wedding venue now owned by her cousin. She is starting to feel like she wants something more when she is pushed into helping the winners of a Wedding in a Week contest along with the owner of the town’s newest wedding venue, who used to be an old friend of hers. Sometimes a happy book with the expected romance is just the thing. This book hit all the right notes for me, nice setting, likable characters and a happily ever after.
