I love these Minotaur samplers because I always find gems I might not otherwise pick up. In this case, the one that hooked me was The Girl Who Died, an Icelandic noir about a girl who considers moving to a town with a population of ten people. There’s murder and intrigue from the start along with the really cool premise. I also really liked the beginnings of The Photographer and Gone For Good. This is a great way to sample several of Minotaur’s excellent mystery and thriller offerings. Highly recommended!

A wonderful sampler of books being released in Spring/Summer 2021. I was happy to discovery some new mystery/thriller novels. This sampler is a perfect way to figure out which books I most want to read this year! Thank you to the publisher for providing this ARC.

I absolutely love the opportunity to get a sneak peek at upcoming fiction. Being able to sample new to me authors helps me to determine my future TBR choices and I was so pleased to see Ashley Weaver with a WWII novel.

This is so awesome! I love being able to read a few chapters of several books in one spot. Some of these are books I’ve been really curious about and some I haven’t heard of yet. Thank you so much for putting this together!!!

Minotaur, a division of St. Martin’s Press, consistently publishes excellent mysteries. Gathered here are generous samples of new books by Mary Dixie Carter, Ragnar Jonasson, Joanna Schaffhausen, Ashley Weaver and Brian Klingborg.

The domestic suspense novel by Mary Dixie Carter is her first. Brian Klingborg takes readers to China. Jonasson, Schaffhausen and Weaver have each written a number of books. Here, Weaver starts a new WWII set series. Schaffhausen’s protagonist is involved with a cold case while Jonasson sets his stories in cold places.

Take a look. Readers are sure to find a good read here.

Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this title. All opinions are my own.
