What’s a Witch to do is an urban paranormal novel that was fast paced and enjoyable to read.

The plot was fast and twisting at each turn and the characters were relatable and so easy to love.

This is a fast read and it’s a thoroughly enjoyable read.

Urban fantasy, romance complete with coven and a witchy person 35 years old Mona MacGregor who just might have at last met someone important. That is if she can stop putting family first. Anyway a werewolf is a great addition to the story, add in a handsome doctor who’s just hit town, and you’ve got an interesting triangle. Sort of cosy romance for the paranormal set.

Witches + suspense + mystery + paranormal = awesomeness in this first-in-a-series book from Jennifer Harlow. The characters really pulled me in and made this an enjoyable book.

So this was surprisingly good. It reminded me of the Sookie Stackhouse books, but not in a copycat way. It had the same feel, but was completely different. Witches took the lead in this book, and vampires were hardly mentioned. I absolutely LOVED how the "To Do" lists were incorporated into the story, because I use lists like that all the time, and they were hilarious. The mystery added a nice element, also. The main character was flawed, which made her interesting, and I loved how much she cared about her nieces. I hope Ms. Harlow writes another book about Mona!

Note: There were a lot of F-Bombs and the romance scenes were a little icky, in my opinion. A little too much information. Therefore, I don't recommend this one for teens.
