A story of twists and turns, good and evil that keeps you turning pages to find out what happens. It's also a story of learning how having faith can lead you to great places.

She was born Kathryn Ann Alexander in 1717, the child of an aristocrat and a commoner. Dream of the White Stallion is her journal which serves as a record of her life. She was the beloved only child of parents who taught her much. From her father, a flawed man, came a love of horses and all that came with caring for them. Her mother educated her in the arts. One tragedy after another befell the family and her life spiraled out of control. She suffered unimaginable losses and her faith was shattered. Could she survive all she had endured?

Because this story is so skillfully told, readers can feel every one of Kathryn's emotions as her resolve and strength were tested. It is as though we are with her throughout her life. Many people came in and out of her life and they are a varied group. Some were loving and some outright dangerous.

I found this to be a beautifully written powerful story. It deals with themes of family, loss, faith, hope and love. This book is well worth reading. Highly recommended.
