This includes some very interesting characters and a good plot. I missed the previous book in the series but enjoyed this one nonetheless. I enjoyed the humor and the ending. I'll have to circle back to the first book.

Homegrown Hero is an intriguing thriller, a gripping spin on the spy novel, and a chance to expand tropes of the genre. Well-written and entertaining action.
