Hollyn is a shy 20-something who writes the most popular entertainment blog in New Orleans. As Miz Poppy, Hollyn is witty and bright. But in real life, Hollyn is hesitant about interacting with others due to her Tourette's Syndrome, which causes her to have facial ticks. Then a new guy, Jasper, starts at the coffee counter at her shared office space. After a horrible first interaction, the two eventually strike up a rapport over text messages. Jasper runs a comedy improv group and dreams of having his own theater. When Hollyn's boss tells her she needs to do a video blog, Jasper agrees to teach Hollyn some improv skills to help her with her get over her anxiety. Through this lessons the two grow closer.
This was a sweet neurodiverse romance with a splash of heat. Hollyn was a believable and relatable character. Her relationship with Jasper developed in a realistic way. I recommend this one to fans of The Kiss Quotient and The Rosie Project.

Yes & I Love You may have just become one of my favorite books of the year!
So sweet and the perfect amount of heat! 🔥
The improv scenes were hilarious and had me laughing out loud. The steamy scenes were everything I needed. The sharpie scene, if you know, you know; my heart. ❤️
The author was so elegant in writing about Hollyn with Tourette’s and Jasper with ADHD, beautifully painting a picture of their vulnerabilities and insecurities but then showing their strengths, acceptance and the realism and honesty with these two. Proving that if you find your people, your disorder can’t define you.
Jasper being an extrovert, truly helped Hollyn being an introvert through her anxiety and awkwardness, while Hollyn showed him that she just adored him for who he was and wouldn’t abandon him.
Even the secondary characters- Fitz, Andi, Monique and Cal were so likable and had their own quirks and strengths.
This was truly just an AWESOME story and I highly recommend it.
The narration was fabulous and I loved it!
Thank you @sourcebookscasa for an ARC for an honest review!

I didn't know what to expect when I opened up this audiobook, but it definitely wasn't this. Hollyn is a woman who has been working on an online review blog called Miz Poppy. She hides behind this character she's created because she does not have confidence in her every day life. Hollyn suffers from Tourette's syndrome and anxiety triggers some of her ticks. One day, she's told that she needs to show herself on video, Hollyn doesn't know what to do. In walks handsome Jasper, the new coffee barista who has dreams of being an improv actor. The two of them create an unexpected friendship that challenges each one in their own way.
Obviously, I'm not a newbie to romance books, so I was fairly sure I knew how this would end. However, that did not stop me from enjoying the journey. I loved seeing all of the growth Hollyn went through as she navigated finding herself, while also having challenges that I can't imagine. Very cute book, I would recommend.

Thank you to NetGalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca for this audio earc!
While this audiobook started off a bit slow for me, I did end up really enjoying it! I loved the representation in the book of Tourette’s and anxiety. I found myself rooting for the characters and loved their individual growth.
I think I would’ve preferred this as a read vs listen, as the narrator didn’t always hold my attention.
Overall I’ve rated this book 3 stars, I liked it! I would recommend it to romance lovers.

I absolutely loved this book! It was easy to listen too, the characters were fantastic & love how it was so neurologically inclusive & we have a lead with who lives with Tourette’s. I would absolutely recommend this to everyone & think it’s on the level of The Kiss Quotient! I need to own a physical copy it was that good!

Can you give a book 500 stars, because this deserves way more than 5 stars. I loved every single second of this audiobook and I’m completely devastated I just finished it
Yes & I Love Love You has lovable and relatable characters, an epic love story and steamy, steamy scenes. I laughed, I cried, I yelled at the characters and I cheered so hard at the end
Im a huge thriller reader but trying some other genres and I am so glad I listened to this. The narrator of this audiobook was also one of the best narrators I have listened to. Thank you to Dreamscape Media and NetGalley for this audiobook. All opinions in this review are my own. GO LISTEN TO THIS BOOK NOW!

Have you ever read/listened to a book that just made you go aww? This book is like 90’s Meg Ryan in book form (only a whole lotta that scene from When Harry Met Sally too)! I loved every single thing. The movie references (yep I’ve seen most), the improve (Searching for shows in my area now) and the normalcy of the characters Tourette’s (so wonderful to see the acceptance). I can’t find one negative of this book other than I’m done with it.

I really loved the bond of these characters. Hollyn (a shy woman with Tourette syndrome) meets Jasper (a man who grew up in the foster system). She's writes a local entertainment column & he's an aspiring actor currently running the coffee bar at her office. At their first meeting they don't seem to have much in common or even get along but when Hollyn asks Jasper to help her out with relationship lessons things get interesting!

“Yes & I Love You” by Roni Loren has become one of my favorite inclusive romances.
I haven’t rooted for a heroine more than I have for Hollyn Tate. Hollyn Tate lives a shy, isolated life as someone who has Tourette ’s. Behind her quiet shell, is Miz Poppy, a popular digital reviewer in NOLA. When her employer suggests she should add video content (thus revealing her insecurities), she has a choice to make: stay hidden behind her digital mask or finally reveal herself as Miz Poppy.
Enter my newest book boyfriend: Jasper, the barista at Hollyn’s coworking space. Jasper is an aspiring actor who is doing what he can to get his big break. His passion is his improv acting group and teaching improv at the coworking space.
As Hollyn and Jasper slowly begin to open up to each other, they realize they can help each other out: Jasper can help grow Hollyn’s confidence and Hollyn can help publicize Jasper’s performances. So begins the most intimate fake dating/workplace romance relationship I’ve ever read. The chemistry between the two leads is off the charts. Reading this story from the POV of someone with a neurological disorder was a first for me and it definitely elevated how much I enjoyed this story, especially the audiobook version. Also, if you’re a fan of a steamy read, this book is for you. Hello sharpie scene.
Thanks to @Netgalley and @dreamscape_media for the ALC copy of this book. Out as of March 2nd!

Adorable, loveable yet steamy! For mature audiences/students only. This story was a total delight. I loved the feature of a main character who was not neurotypical. This was a fun romantic comedy and I've already pre-ordered the next book in the series! FIVE ENTHUSIASTIC STARS!

This book was authorized and then archived on the same day (March 30, 2021) not giving the listener a chance to listen to the book.
Very disappointed.

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️💫(3.5/5)
“Do you know how much power there is in learning not to give a fuck if you look stupid?”
So, unlike a lot of other readers of Yes & I love you, I wasn’t familiar with Roni Loren’s work. But, this didn’t stop me from loving her book!
Hollyn (who writes under the name, “Miz Poppy”) reviews cool events as an entertainment writer/blogger. She also suffers from Tourette’s and struggles with talking to strangers in her life.👩🏻💻
Jasper: Intelligent ✅ Kind/Funny ✅ 🥵🔥👦✅
A skilled improv actor, Jasper vows to help Hollyn in exchange for an honest review about his work and they soon become friends, and then lovers. (Watch out for the steam!🔥)
I think I’m figuring out more and more that I’m not a huge fan of romance novels if they’re extremely predictable (and to be honest, most are). But, in this case, it was the storyline and the main character that drew me in. Loren’s portrayal of Hollyn is brilliant! She’s anxious, but sassy, fearful but extremely talented, and not to mentioned can stand up for herself so well if she needs to! She comes across as a beautiful character and I was interested in reading about her more and more.
Pick this one up not because it’s a romance novel, but because it gives you insight into a different kind of a life. A lot of us struggle with different forms of anxiety, and while we may not be at Hollyn’s level, we can relate to her and feel worried with her, but then also cheer her on later in the book!💕
A huge thank you to @netgalley and @dreamscape_media for providing a free audiobook version in exchange for an honest review. 😍

What a wonderful book. Great characters, a wonderful storyline and fabulous writing. Every one of us is damaged in some way. How we see ourselves is one thing, but having to deal with how others see and react to us is so very different and can at times build us up and others break us down and damage us to the very core. It is how we react that truly shows us who we are. Hollyn and Jasper are two wonderful people trying do do the best they can while dealing with their emotional baggage. When they meet both of their lives are forever changed for the better. The writing is truly stellar. This book reinforces my belief that we can get through almost anything as long as we hang on to our sense of humor. This was my first book by this author and look forward to more. The narration of the audio version was wonderful.

The cover of Roni Loren’s Yes & I Love You looks so sweet doesn’t it? Well there’s a whole lotta heat behind all that sweet!
But the real question is, should you read it? Yes &…
- You’ll be treated to a romcom about a twenty-something woman with Tourette syndrome, which is very refreshing. Her facial ticks have prevented her from fully living her life, and it’s a pleasure to watch her come into her own and find acceptance through love and friendship.
- You’ll likely enjoy the comedy improv setting, which is where the “Yes &” title comes from. It’s an overall nice metaphor for life, too. Whatever is thrown your way, just say yes & go with it.
- You should be prepared that this is an open door romance, so the naughty bits are quite naughty! Words starting with “C” that make me really uncomfortable are used a lot. (Too much for this reader.) In fact, Loren’s previous books are classified as erotica. I did not know that beforehand but sure do now!
- You might want to consider the audiobook. It’s narrated by Desiree Ketchum who does a great job with emotions, voices, and inflections. (Both the audiobook and the ebook are currently available on the Hoopla library app.)
Yes & I Love You is part one of Loren’s Say Everything duology. The second part, What If You & Me, is slated for publication this July and will follow Andi, a secondary character from Y&ILY.
3.5 stars
My thanks to Dreamscape Media and the author for providing me with a gifted advance listener copy of the audiobook via NetGalley.

Loved this one--delightful story and the ending was exactly what I hoped for. Characters are flawed which makes them more relatable. Highly recommend!

If you are looking for a cute romance with the right amount of sizzle, Yes & I love you is the title for you. This book follows Miz Poppy, a professional reviewer, as she catches feels for her faux boyfriend Jasper, the local coffee barista. Their hot and cold relationship throughout the entire book will keep you on your toes.
This book had a very good message about facing fears. Hollyn's growth as a character from start to finish was fun to watch play out. Jasper was a great supporting character for her growth. I really enjoyed their dynamic together.
I know there is a book two, and it isn't about these characters which I am low-key bummed about. But I am loving I get to learn about two new characters from Roni Loren!
Highly recommend. Thanks, netgalley, for the opportunity to read this book with a free arc in exchange for an honest review.

Wow! Wow! Wow! I adored everything about this book!! The characters, the steam, the originality, the narrator, and etc. because I could go on and on.
This was the first book I've read by Roni Loren but it certainly will not be my last. I loved the characters, Jasper and Hollyn, and the connection they had with one another. Their relationship from the very beginning was incredibly realistic. I think what I appreciated the most about this book though, was that the characters weren't perfect. Jasper came from a spotty situation and Hollyn was this beautiful and hopeful little girl that went through a troubling situation because of her disability. I also really appreciated how Hollyn and Jasper grew as characters. Because of their growth, it allowed us as readers to relish in the fact that Hollyn truly was a bad*** just like Jasper had been trying to convince her, and the author avoided some unnecessary love triangle drama because of it.
Start to finish.... I loved this book and cannot wait to read more by this author.

"Life is one big improve stage anyway. You're only as good as the people standing right there with you."

✍️ One Sentence Synopsis: Maybe everyone has something in their personal life backpack?
💭 Overall Thoughts: This is a fake dating (also love triangle) romance novel with some Steam (with a capital S). I loved Hollyn’s character — how much she pushes herself to overcome obstacles. She is the ultimate badass going for what she wants despite how challenging it was for her. I loved the chemistry between Hollyn and Jasper and how they connected because of (and not in spite of) their past experiences. This is a feel good romance with some substance without being too trauma based. The steamy scenes are super hot though, be prepared!
What I Liked:
👍 Neurodivergent and foster system representation.
👍 Hollyn is a freakin’ badass.
👍Talk about chemistry!
👍 Couple that helps each other mutually grow
What I Didn’t Like:
👎 Cal’s character— the best friend/love triangle — annoyed me.
🎧 Audio Review: Desiree Ketchum provides a captivating narration I was able connect with. Listened at 1.25.

This was such a fun Romantic story. I loved this book! I enjoyed the characters and their relationships. The book was explores mental illness due to result of a medical condition, Tourette’s Syndrome. There is true love, friendship, courage, honesty and a bit of spice!!
I needed this book and it 100% met my expectations! I would recommend to everyone!
Thanks to NetGalley and Sourcebook Casablanca for the opportunity to listen to this audiobook. All opinions are my own.

Yes & I Love You by Roni Loren
Contemporary romance. 1st book in the Say Everything series.
Major characters with Tourette’s.
Hollyn has written the popular Miz Poppy entertainment review column in New Orleans for years. It’s snarky, fresh and on point with lots of followers. In direct contrast, Hollyn’s private persona struggles to talk to strangers because of her facial ticks caused by Tourette’s syndrome. She’s working on her control and renting an office to practice her public interactions. The new coffee barista has her nervous but determined to interact.
Jasper doesn’t know what he said wrong to the pretty renter. When she spends the night in the hospital sitting by his side after an emergency appendectomy, he is committed to helping Hollyn overcome her worries.
Charming and poignant.
Hollyn and Jasper become friends and then lovers. He becomes jealous when her former love comes to town and Jasper becomes distracted by a Los Angeles opportunity.
I enjoyed the romance, the conflicts and resolution but my absolute favorite event was the introduction of Miz Poppy to the theatre audience. It was empowering and inspiring and bolstered Hollyn immeasurably. This scene had me crying.
I listened to the audio version thanks to Dreamscape media, Sourcebooks and NetGalley. The narrator is Desiree Ketchum who does a marvelous job with voice inflections, emotions and cadence.
