I must firstly apologise for the amount of time it has taken me to provide a review of this book, my health was rather bad for quite some time, something that had me in hospital on numerous occasions and simply didnt leave me with the time I once had to do what I love most.

Unfortunately that does mean I have missed the archive date for many of these books, so It would feel unjust throwing any review together without being able to pay attention to each novel properly.

However, I am now back to reading as before and look forward to sharing my honest reviews as always going forward. I thank you f0r the patience and understanding throughout x

Absolutely loved this story of Jack and his cocktail campervan, Lucy and her horsebox pizza van and of course cute Daisy the dog.
A tale of hope, heartbreak and trust. I was gripped from the start.

What a lovely Summer read this turned out to be! I loved the structure of the book as you travelled to different events and at the same time, saw Lucy and Jack’s friendship developed. There are some light-hearted moments and the idea of the mobile vans has such a lot of potential for a series. I’ve noticed that Book 2 looks as though it will have a Christmas theme so that should be lovely!
Lucy’s little dog is adorable and has his own moments in the story. If you are looking for a fun romance for the holiday, this is highly recommended.
Thanks to netgalley for a copy of the book

The perfect mix of pizza and cocktails, set to a Northumberland backdrop and a great variety of special occasions.

Another joyous book from Caroline Roberts, who kept me hungry and thirsty throughout reading.

As the scent's coming from Lucy's pizza horsebox, and the immense array of cocktails from Jack's cocktail campervan really tantalised and teased the imagination.

I also loved the interactions between Jack and Lucy, as well as all of Jack's bartender dialogue.

And Lucy's four legged friend was utterly fabulous too and full of mischief!

A pure pleasure to read on my holiday, and I can't wait for the author's next book.

Thank you to One More Chapter and Netgalley for this copy which I have reviewed honestly and voluntarily.

I love Caroline Roberts's books. They always leave you with the best warm fuzzy feeling and some fabulous recipes to try. This one is no exception and I raced through it. The food and drink descriptions are divine and the combination of mouthwatering morsels and beverages and the heartwarming romance are hard to beat.

Thank you to Netgalley and HarperCollins UK, One More Chapter for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts are my own.

Let me start by saying I loved the cover and synopsis of this book. I love a seaside romcom, especially when it is set in the UK. When Lucy isn’t in her cosy cottage by the sea, she’s winding through the Northumberland coast with her loveable Dachsund Daisy, cooking up a storm at the local village celebrations. Inspired by her Italian Poppa, Lucy’s chasing a new dream with her pizza van business.

I am lucky enough to have visited Northumberland and can only imagine what an Idyllic life this would be, sounds like I dream to me. I so wanted to love this book, but it was just ok. Again, I loved the location and was great that I could recognise some of the places in the story but I just couldn't connect to the characters, and at some points through the book I really disliked Lucy, especially the incident when her dog Daisy causes damage to Jack's property and she just laughs. I know there is a frenemy situation going on but I just found it very immature.

I did enjoy the book, but maybe I have just read too many books recently in the same genre that this one didn't really stand out for me.

The Seaside Cocktail Campervan by Caroline Roberts

This story was about a gentleman bringing love ,laughter, and friendship from coast to coast in his Campervan.

This was a warm band loving book. It would be a great read while staying at the shore.
Fantastic characters. I enjoyed this novel..

Enjoyable read but lacking some fizz in comparison to other reads from the same author. I also found the ending quite abrupt. Daisy is a delightful character but unable to lift the whole story. The narrative felt quite formulaic and I’m not hoping for a sequel. Easy to read and a beautiful setting!

Thank you Netgalley

It was the title of this book that caught my eye when I first saw it, it sounds like a fabulous venture to have. The Cocktail Campervan belongs to Jack, and he has been providing his mobile bar for private events for a few years. Lucy has just got started, her venture is homemade pizzas that she cooks and sells from a horsebox.

Both took a risk on their outside catering careers and it was at an event where they first meet, not the best first meeting considering Daisy the dog made quite an impact! Working fetes, weddings, birthdays and special occasions mean they are bound to meet again at some point. A friendship forms and this is great for Lucy as Jack manages to feed some business her way. Neither one is interested in romance or a relationship, they are busy with their businesses and don't need the hassle, the complications or the heartbreak, but they do get on and have an easy friendship.

This is a fab story of food, cocktails, amazing locations, friendship and family. I really enjoyed the feel of the story and the way the author brought the characters and their own individual stories out. Their stories are gradually teased out as their friendship grows. Very hard to make friends when you are flat out working at mainly evening functions but get to know each other they do.

The author creates some wonderful recipes, gorgeous-sounding cocktails and I was so happy to see quite a nice list of these and how to make or bake them at the end of the book. The scenery that is described ranges from dramatic and luxurious to a simple beach, all sounding wonderful. Friends and family have a part to play, while the main focus is on Lucy and Jack.

Tentative, heartwarming and wonderfully lovely read. Once for those who like contemporary romance and fiction, as well as food and drinks. A great read over the course of an afternoon and evening and one I would definitely recommend.

It was a very sweet book in a lot of ways, and I thought it was very interesting that I felt like the book did not have a clear genre. It contains a lot of elements of the feelgood genre, which I did think the book belonged to based on the synopsis, cover and name. However, the book was more built like a romance in plot and structure. It was nice to read a book that was a nice blend of both genres. The theme of the story was a lot around going your own way in life, intertwined with the couple’s relationship.

We got to see both perspective in the book, almost every other chapter followed first the male character and then the female main character. That is not something I have seen in feelgood but is of course very common in romance. The story had a lot of promise, but I think it felt short because of the relationship. They both did things around their relationship that made me VERY frustrated at both of them at times. The story really had it moments, but I have a hard time with romance stories where I kind of feel like they do not deserve to end up happily ever after together. In romance I want to really cheer for the couple will end up together and in this story both of them felt very unreasonable.

This was a lovely summer book, lovely to read whilst reclining on a picnic blanket with a pimms and the sound of the sea in
My ears.
A really lovely pool or beach book with a healthy dose of escapism.

The Seaside Cocktail Campervan was a unique book. I received a copy through Netgalley. This review was not required and express my own thoughts. I found the book to be enjoyable but it could have done with more character development. They seem friendly and fun but at times like us all they failed to act as adults. I love the idea of a cocktail campervan and a fire oven horse trailer. Sounds like a really fun adventure. The food and drinks sounded wonderful. I could almost taste them. The recipes were a nice surprise at the end.

I was really looking forward to reading this novel by Caroline Roberts but unfortunately I just couldn't get into it. I thought it would be a lot like her other books but I found the pace a little slow and couldn't connect to the characters

The Seaside Cocktail Campervan by Caroline Roberts is the only seaside escape you need this Summer or Winter!
I am glad I decided to read a Rom-com this past month as it was a very entertaining, fun filled read. Jack is serving cocktails from his beloved camper van, named Ruby, while Lucy makes pizzas from a horse box. I loved the setting of Northumberland, UK with the descriptions of the beautiful scenery it came alive in my mind. .

I found the characters to be well developed, and multi-dimensional. There were lots of twists and turns and multiple sub-plots to keep you engaged and interested in the outcome. I will definitely read other books by this author.

I requested and received an advanced readers copy courtesy of One More Chapter and NetGalley . All thought and opinions are my OWN

Not only is this cover bright and beautiful but so was the story. The descriptions and settings were really well done and I loved the idea of travelling and meeting different people while serving them food and of course a nice little romance on the side.
