A great story keeping you hooked in from page 1. The characters are really likeable and the story is well written, with enough intrigue to keep you hoping.

Thanks Netgalley for allowing me to read this book. Lucy and Jack who own two different business are working the same parties over the summer. Jack has a hard time escaping his past and is wary of a relationship. Both of them started out as friends. I liked the chemistry between Lucy and Jack.

With thanks to #Netgalley and #HarperCollinsUK for an ARC of #TheSeasideCoxktailCampervan by #CarolineRoberts.

Jack has given up the 9-5 rat race, and converted his much loved campervan into a mobile cocktail bar. Together they travel to various events, weddings, birthday parties and the like.
It’s at one of these events where Jack encounters Lucy, who has her own pizza business that she runs from her converted horsebox, along with her sidekick Daisy, who is a spirited sausage dog!
Jack and Lucy build a tentative friendship, that could go somewhere special, if they can both move on from the traumas in their respective pasts.

This is a wonderful summer read.
Jack and Lucy are both really likeable characters and Daisy is so well written. Anyone who knows a sausage dog, will relate to her antics.

The location descriptions in this story are fabulous, even the cover is cheerful and appealing.

This book is a real feel good read and a fresh take on a tale of romance.
Five enjoyable stars from me.

Amazing. I loved every minute of reading this book. Set so close to home for me, reading about places I have visited and know how amazingly beautiful they are was brilliant. The descriptions were spot on and really made me want to jump in the car and head to the beach.
The developing friendship of Jack and Lucy was lovely, very identifiable, both scared of being hurt again and each needing time to reflect on their feelings before being strong enough to be the first one to make a move. Seeing Jack open up and tell Lucy about his brother and his true feelings was lovely and allowed Lucy to finally fit all the pieces of her heart together and give it to him.

I loved the idea of the cocktail camper van and the pizza horse box. Seeing the story develop through random celebrations around food vans was uniquely wonderful. I could smell the pizzas and feel the fizz of the cocktails on my tongue they were described perfectly.

A perfect summer read, even better with a beach view and a cold drink.

The Seaside Cocktail Campervan is the sweet story of two travelling food vans. Lucy runs a pizza van business with her best four-legged friend by her side, and Jack serves drinks out of his cocktail campervan. Sparks begin to fly when the two work at the same events, no matter how hard they try to keep things friendly.

The Seaside Cocktail Campervan is a fun book and a great summertime read. Travelling to different parties with a pizza van and cocktail campervan? Sign me up. I enjoyed both Lucy and Jack's characters, and liked reading along as their relationship developed. The setting can't get much better, and the reader will enjoy the brief escape to each event. Also, having the invites introduce the chapters was a nice touch. I would recommend The Seaside Cocktail Campervan for any romance novel enthusiast looking for a good late summer read.

Thanks to Netgalley and HarperCollins UK, One More Chapter for this ARC; this is my honest and voluntary review.

A rather typical, and a bit lacklustre romance, in a lovely setting, and a very unique way to make a living for both main characters. The author was nice enough to add the recipes for Jack's cocktails and Lucy's cakes and pizzas. There is lots of detail on how Jack & Lucy manage their business, but the romance between them was a bit of a let down.

What a charming read this was. A delightful romance set in Northumbria, it is the story of Jack and Lucy, two relationship phobic people, damaged by the past.
Jack owns and operates The Seaside Cocktail Campervan business which he has built up over four years of hard work, travelling to events around the North East. Lucy has just started her pizza making business, taking her converted horse box from event to event. As they meet up at events their friendship grows, but the past comes back to haunt them both. Will they make it together? What of the warnings of friends? Is it true that Jack is a “player”, with a string of broken hearts and promises behind him? Given the way he flirts with female customers of his cocktail van, it certainly seems that way to Lucy. And what of Lucy, the Ice Queen, as Jack dubs her? Is she always so spiky and cold?

Caroline Roberts descriptions of the Northumbrian countryside make one want to visit. The settings come alive with every word. I particularly liked the prefacing of each event with an actual invitation to attend. It made the reader, well this one at least, feel like an honoured guest.
It was a delightful surprise to find recipes for some of Jacks drink concoctions and Lucy’s family pizza and cake recipes at the end of the book. I will most certainly lay be trying some of them!

This is the first book written by the author that I have read. It will certainly not be the last!

Thoroughly recommended to all lovers of romantic fiction.

This is a perfect read for these long summer days in the garden.

Lucy has moved to a lovely cottage in a seaside town following the breakdown of her relationship with her fiancé. She has packed in her job and following her dream making and selling pizzas just like her Italian grandad used to make. However, this is no ordinary shop or restaurant- no, Lucy owns a horse box which is all kitted out for her pizza venture and travels to events (weddings, anniversaries, garden parties, festivals and the like). Being a relatively to the scene, business is slow and Lucy is keen to make an impression.

At one such event Lucy meets Jake. Jake has a camper van which he has converted and he makes/sells cocktails from it . He has been doing this for a few years now and is kept busy with all the bookings he has. He helps Lucy out pointing her in the right direction to get bookings etc. They then meet frequently at events.

There is a spark between Lucy and Jake but both have suffered a great deal of hurt before and are reluctant to take that chance again. Can they overcome this?

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for an advanced read copy of this book in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

This is an endearing romance novel with just the right balance of humour, charm and entertaining characters, without the sickly sweet-ness usually found in this genre. Recommend as a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thanks to Harper Collins, One More Chapter and Netgalley for an advance copy of this book in exchange for a review.

I have read a lot of Caroline Roberts' books so was excited to be approved to read this one and it didn't disappoint.

Lucy has a mobile pizza van (horsebox) and Jack has a mobile cocktail campervan. They keep running in to each other at events they are catering - Lucy is just starting out and Jack is keen to help her establish her business. I have to say I wish I knew folk who gave parties where the catering was pizzas and cocktails!

A hugely enjoyable summer read.

Northumberland, a camper van, cocktails (plus recipes), pizza and some summer romance. What’s not to love?
I really enjoyed this tale of mobile caterers Hack and Lucy. Both have difficult pasts and are making their way in the world of events, weddings and birthdays (with some truly demanding clients). There were ups and downs for our couple but they get there in the end. The ending was a bit predictable but that suited me on a very hot lazy Sunday.

Thanks Netgalley and the :Publisher. I loved this book, I have always wanted to own a campervan and this did not change my opinion. Great characters and a really good storyline. Loved it.

Easy, heart felt, cute read.
This books transports you to parties and gatherings where the aroma of pizza and the sounds of a cocktail shaker fill the air.

Jack and Lucy are lovable and relatable characters trying to find their love and happiness and this book takes you on that cute journey.

Granted, the ending was a bit rushed and predictable, the book gave you the good feelings that come within all pages of a chick-lit.

Also, Daisy.. I love that dog!!

Mostly I enjoyed this book, it was interesting to have it set away from the usual Cornwall/Devon/Dorset area. I did like that it was pretty accurate about the geography - the author admitted that it had been written in lockdown and thanks those that had helped her, and I was pleased to see that she had used a map or Google Earth to get the geography acceptable - so many authors seem to think this is unnecessary, and annoy readers like me.
So that was all good, and the story kept my interest, even though the ending was obvious. However, when it did come to that ending, I found it abrupt and unlikely - spoiler coming - to declare love rather than just to say they wanted to be with the other? I wasn't sure about that.

I’ve read several of Caroline’s books before, mainly the Pudding Pantry series, and have enjoyed them so I was looking forward to trying this one. I was not disappointed

This is the story of Jack who runs a mobile cocktail bar from a converted camper van, and his interactions with the lovely Lucy who runs a mobile pizza van. It’s all set in the North East of England and the descriptions of the area really made me feel like I was there too, which is especially nice at the current crazy time of limited or no travel.

There are ups and downs (and I won’t spoil them here), and the story keeps you interested for more. All of the characters are believable and more than once I wanted to be eating cake with several of them. The regular descriptions of food, and recipes were so good that it left me feeling hungry on more than one occasion! Some of the cocktails also sounded very yummy!

As a fellow sausage dog owner, I loved the inclusion of Daisy “the Diva” Dachshund and her antics. They reminded me so much of our dogs too – as they really are such little characters. Very mischievous but lovable

It’s a fab read, but particularly enjoyable during the warm summer days.

4.5 stars

This is an easy read book with likeable characters; it's got enough ups and downs to keep it interesting...although the mobile catering job of Lucy might make you feel hungry whilst reading! Lucy has started a mobile pizza van and is taken under the wing of Mobile cocktail-van man, Jack... but after disastrous pasts, will the two be able to get on?

I really enjoyed reading this book; it's set in Northumberland, a place I love, and it was easy to picture the scenery being described. There are clever features in the book - the 'invitations' for each event, and the cocktail recipes at the end being two such delights!

The book is pretty run of the mill for an easy read, chick-lit - though it does seem longer than some stories, which I really enjoyed as it took me a bit longer to get through it! There's not any horrific plot twists that through you off, but it's level of predictability changes throughout the book. My only criticism is the ending was just too short for me... I want a bit more! An epilogue!
