Think, Talk, Create was not completely what I was expecting based on the synopsis. I expected more tangible strategies and tie ins to the stories than offered. While the broad theme and motto was one, I could embrace, I didn’t find overall the information landed well.

This book was good, but didn’t have enough emphasis on work life for me. It told some engaging stories, but didn’t seem to tie each story back in to how this can really be implied at work. I work for a corporation and expected this to be more of a business book, but it was not tailored to a business environment. However, there were some good points made and it’s a great reminder to Think, talk, and create.

Thanks to Perseus Books, Public Affairs and NetGalley for a copy to honestly review.

This is a timely, necessary book that fills a gap in current business/productivity literature. The concept of "doing better" as opposed to simply "doing more" is, I hope, going to be gaining momentum as Americans begin to question how benign capitalism really is. Think Talk Create offers concrete solutions to improve the humanity of our workplaces while still maintaining an edge in the marketplace. I particularly appreciated the specificity of the concepts and the examples provided. Recommended.
