This was a really cute way to end the series. My kids have read them all too and love them. I think it's a good fit for the age group and with the number of kids who want to be in the business now I think they could get a lot out of it. Friendships, boyfriends, parents all relationships that can be hard to deal with at that age. I look forward to our next book by Hope.

"Bina is a middle schooler who has a new band, Fancy Pink. She and the other two girls are starting to get some interest after playing a gig. So much so that their song is featured on a new TV show and they are offered a record deal, which all of the girls' parents are then a little leery of, considering how the music industry treats talent, but girls specifically.

I enjoyed how this graphic novel tackles important themes such as sexism in the music industry but does so in a way that is realistic for middle schoolers. It is overly heavy or stressful. Rather is is dealt with quickly and satisfactorily.

The color palette for the graphic novel was also very interesting with every being pink and white.

this was cute! i love all the examples of Bina figuring out what dating and romantic relationships means for her and how she determines what kind of relationships she wants. definitely also captured that angst of young teenagerdom where your parents “just don’t understand!” also so glad to see casual queer representation!

This was such a cute graphic novel! I really enjoyed the story and how the girls were determined to record their song. I also understand the parents point of view. The girls could easily get taken advantage of in that industry. Overall, a great book and I hope there's more to come!

I realized once I started this book that I had not read the previous on in the series yet, so it was helpful to go back and connect the dots with the first two books. This was a great continuation of Bina's different journeys, musical, friendships, and romantic relationships. The only drawback for me was having to suspend the disbelief that musicians their age would be able to find venues to play. I will be interested to see if Larson gives us another installment in this series and find out what happens next for Bina and her friends.

Hope Larson's third installment in Eagle Rock series keeps the momentum going. When we first met Hope's main character, Bina, in 2018's All Summer Long, she was a 13-year-old finding her way through music, and figuring out her evolving friendship with her bestie, Austin. Now, in All My Friends, Bina and her friends are in Fancy Pink, a band getting a lot of notice; she's in a back-and-forth with her parents as she tries to take her band to the next level, and her parents worry about things moving too quickly, and she's still figuring out relationships, whether it's her strained relationship with Austin or how she feels about Cooper, the cute guy in a local band. The Eagle Rock books have captured big moments in a tween/teens' life: relationships, dating, parents, and growing up. The characters have grown with each book, as Hope Larson's audience is growing, keeping them invested in the stories of the Eagle Rock friends. Artwork in shades of pink, black, and white keep the focus on the story while using fonts to give the feeling of music moving through crowds. A great third act for a popular series.

I must have missed this was part of a trilogy, so I may have to go back and read the first two. That said, this book stood well enough on its own and told a good story. However, it's definitely more for middle grade audiences.

This third book in the Eagle Rock series was a fun finale! As her band steps into the spotlight, they find that their parents are controlling the dimmer switch. Will this be their big break? Will Bina sort out her feelings about Austin?

I've enjoyed following Bina as she pursues her dreams of being a rock star. This is a fun middle grade graphic novel series. Students who dream of becoming YouTube stars or social media influencers may be especially interested.

This series has grown on me with each installment. Bina and her friends are so well developed. Loved the romantic payoff. This is the best book yet. Hope is an incredibly gifted storyteller. Wonderful book.

Fantastic addition to the Eagle Rock trilogy! I love the art work and the story is fun and easy to follow! I will definitely be recommending this to my middle school readers when it is released.

Honest feedback from my 9 year old daughter:

"All My Friends is a sweet, funny , and great story with wonderful illustrations. I can actually hear the songs when Bina sings and I can relate to the characters and feel their emotions. I would definitely recommend to my friends and hope to see it on the shelf at my school library."

"All my Friends" ties up Larson's Eagle Rock Trilogy in a fun way. Readers follow Bina and her friends throughout the highs and lows of playing in a band and becoming teenagers. I always appreciate when middle grade doesn't end with romantic partnership, but in this case, it was satisfying to see how things play out between Bina and her best friend, Austin. The only con for me -- I wish this book was in full color!

Thank you netgalley for the chance to review!
I thought this book was cute. Told at the point of view of teenage rockers. The artwork was great! I would recommend for middle grade readers.

I love these oddball musician middle-schoolers so much and I need more of their adventures in my life. This book is like a love-letter to every kid who thought "We should start a band" when they were younger (whether you actually did or not lol). It captures the angst of teenage friendships and crushes and rebellion so well and pulled me back to my (more) awkward days so many times. It's the third book in the Eagle Rock series and while it makes some sense as a standalone, I highly recommending reading the books in order to fully appreciate the story. The art is lovely and I especially enjoy how well the characters' emotions are captured. It's also impressive for any book about music to make musical scenes interesting when you cannot hear them, but it works here. I think this is a great option for any music fan, young reader dealing with middle-school woes, or older reader looking to return to that time when everything seemed possible if you and your friends could just hatch the right scheme.

A good model for parent-kid relationships. Kids who are into punk and zines seems really hot in literature right now, but I don't know if that translates into what real kids are actually into.

The third and final installment in the Eagle Rock series continues to deliver. While a little far-fetched (I mean is LA truly filled with 13-15 year old pop band prodigies playing sold-out underground shows?), it's cute, fun, and entertaining. Fans of Larson's graphic novels will enjoy All My Friends

As someone who has only read this title and not the others in the series, I didn't have a lot of background on the band, but kids will often grab series books out of order, so I do that sometimes too. I really liked the main character, and she displays as much attitude as an 8th grader would. Low level upper elementary will love this. I loved the message and a particular scene when two boys try to tear her down when her band sells a song to a tv producer. Overall, kids will love this easy-going tale of girl rock stars struggling with emotion and parents.

I received an electronic ARC from Macmillan Children's Publishing Group through NetGalley.
Book three set around Bina and her friends. Bina, Kesi and Lora get a huge break and open for another band to begin the story. Readers see the pitfalls and excitement that come with being part of a middle school band. The artwork offers a clear look at their lives and the character expressions offer further insight to what each is feeling. Readers will relate to the relationships among the various friends and with their parents. Looking forward to more adventures for Fancy Pink.

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for an early read of this book. This was really good. My favorite of the three. Strong girls playing music. Loved the illustrations and the story.

A nice next installment in the series. I enjoy the basic-color palette that helps focus on the story at its core. I do still struggle with whether this book is MG or YA--and I think the book feels older than it is, but also set at a different time period than now. The Kesha reference confused me cuz I thought this was the 90s for half the book.
