If you know girl rockers, or any teen girls starting a band, this book would be a good fit. Though faced with many of the pitfalls of being a young band, the story is upbeat and positive. Good addition for middle/high school.

I'm not sure if it was my download or computer but it was very hard to read with the coloring. I'll have to check out a physical copy to see what it's truly supposed to look like.

Bina and her friends are ready to rock! And the only thing holding them back is...their parents. Their new band Fancy Pink is just starting to make waves in the local music scene and opportunities are coming their way. But the girls’ parents worry about the music industry and opening up Bina, Kesi, and Lora to the perils of fame. But the girls are convinced to do it their own way. They scrape together money to record an album, babysitting and playing underground shows. Bina is a bold, sassy heroine that young readers can look up to. This final volume in Hope Larson’s series is sure to charm readers of all ages.

All Bina wants to do is be a musician. She and her band are offered a record deal, but their parents say no. Bina is barely talking to her parents because she doesn't understand why they don't see how this could make her career. They are just worried because she is only fourteen. To make matters more awkward, Bina messed up her first date with Austin and doesn't know how to get him to give her a second chance. Maybe a secret fundraising performance of her band can fix all of her problems.
