Liz Holt is a fun character, she’s down to earth and enjoys her career as an author.
When a neighbor is suspected of murder, Liz refuses to let him be falsely accused and does everything in her power to help.

This is a fast paced series that is well written and very enjoyable.

I enjoyed this book. It's very descriptive in it's imagery. The characters are likeable. I was surprised, kind of, by who the killer was but the ending was brilliant. I can't wait to see what comes next. #BuriedbytheSea #NetGalley

Mystery solving author Liz Holt is back. She’s called into action (by her own curiosity) when an archaeologist studying Spanish colonization of Florida is murdered. The local authorities like Birdman, the owner of the abutting property for the crime. Liz is friends with the elderly man and is sure he’s incapable of such an atrocity. She believes one of the other archaeologists in the group is a much more likely suspect and sets out to prove her theory. All the usual suspects are on board, Liz’s PI boyfriend and and two parrots provide both advice and comic relief.
