I don't know how to describe my opinion clearly about this book, like for one thing i hate love stories built on infidelity, however extremely romantic the story is, but this one took it to another level, the author literally mentioned the hero's being engaged as a minor detail as of him being in a relationship doesn't get to have him committed and respectful of his own partner!!
And even ignoring the first reason, the story was so lame, the characters were two dimensional and i didn't feel invested in their story, also the storyline was really weak, it didn't have any strong aspects.
The worst part for me was the ending, so Farfetched and just downright stupid!
Didn't enjoy it 👎👎

River runs and aids Frank run his properties in small coastal North Carolina. When Frank is dying of cancer he asks for his son to come home. Sparks fly between River and Calder, and when Frank is murdered they are forced even closer together. Great story and hard to put down. Kept expecting them to try and solve the murder, but they leave it to the police instead. Rich characters and hope more to come in a series. Highly recommend this book and author.

An engaging romance. Sparks fly until romantic sparks fly. A fun story with a murder mystery, too. Love the dogs. Fun names for the characters.
