Provenance is the best type of book - the characters are rich with depth, but the story is fast-paced and you don't get tripped up trying to understand the details. I loved the story of Kendall and Gabe, as well as their individual stories. I also loved the supporting characters - Gabe's dad and Delia, too (sequel, please?!?) Laureano wove a beautiful tale of provenance/providence that not only entertained me, but left me captivated with home. Must read!

Provenance is exactly the kind of romance I love. Beautiful heroine faced with an untenable situation, handsome hero more than willing to help out, and impeccably researched history and data all designed to draw you in. The book pulled me into Jasper Lake and wouldn’t let me go until I had ferreted out all the secrets.
