This book has it all! From dreaming about what you want to write to actually doing the work, getting your book published and promoting it, this resource from writing coach Bella Mahaya Carter covers it all. The book is broken down into five sections: Dream, Nourish, Write, Publish, and Promote. If you love journaling, you will enjoy the copious journal prompts spread throughout the book intended to help you get clear on the best path forward. One of my favourite pieces of advice from the book is, "It's impossible to become overwhelmed when you reside in the present moment."

Where do you Hang Your Hammock is an excellent and inspiring book for writers and aspiring writers of all levels. Beautifully written, and easy to dip in and out off. Full of stories, tips and brimming with motivation. The advice covers all areas of the writing process from getting started to getting published. The author shares her own experiences and her own methods of dealing with difficulties. The style is lulling, easy and captive. I enjoyed the book much more than expected and can highly recommend it. Overall excellent.

Loved the book, the shared stories, and the motivation. One of the most inspiring books about writing and the writing life that I’ve read in a while. One that can help writers grow, or help them out of a funk. Lots of tips, stories, and inspiration.
