5 STARS for Mafia Prince by Vi Carter ARC received from Netgalley and author in exchange for an honest review. Opinions expressed are my own and have not been influenced in any way. I am a new fan of Vi Carter’s work and boy does she write an amazing mafia genre ( In this case the Irish Mafia ) !! I can’t wait to check out more of her back list. Mafia Price was so good - I could not put it down ! It’s way more than a 5 STAR read and I can’t wait for more of the series Here is what I loved and why : Beautiful cover - great visual of Jack Amazing characters Great plot with some interesting twists Relatable real life issues Age difference between hero / heroine ( 8 yrs ) Enemies to lovers Mafia genre - so interesting it’s the “ Irish “ mafia this time loved all the characters names Sizzling chemistry Great secondary characters HEA This book is just off the charts so good from the very first Chapter ! Maeve and Jack do not disappoint as amazing - complex , yet very relatable characters. Maeve ends up coming to Jack as a last resort for a loan to help cover a debt for her brother - Jack doesn’t want the money repaid - he wants her .... Mafia Prince gave me all the “feels”for a great book - the sign of a great book is not wanting it to end and that was certainly the case !! So happy there are other books coming in the series. Highly recommend this book and author !!

I received an advanced reader's copy of Mafia Prince (Young Irish Rebels Book 1) by Vi Carter from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This was the first book by Vi Carter that I had read and I was pleasantly surprised to find an enjoyable new author to follow.

The storyline was engaging and the plot moved along fairly rapidly. I liked the dynamic and dialogue between our main characters, Maeve and Jack, as well as their interactions with secondary characters.

The Not-So-Good: The pacing was a bit uneven. Could be tightened up in final editing.

Overall, I though this novel was fun to read and I look forward to the next in the series.
