I started reading this book and found that it was not for me. I didn't think it was fair to review a book I didn't finish.

I really liked the writing style of the author, but sadly, it felt like I have skipped a few chapters and started reading from rhe middle of a book.

A bit more insight into what was would have come in handy.

I enjoyed this short story and found it interesting historically speaking, as I did not know the history of Mary Queen of Scots, as well as I do now as a result of reading this story. Thank you to netgalley and the publishers for giving me an opportunity to read an advance copy of this story.
