Small book with cute animal that love each other and hugs each others. Beautiful and heart warming in this time of distancing!

Simplistic illustrations go with a simplistic tale of a little chick who spends the day helping his farmyard companions out by giving them a kiss or a peck or a hug – until one needs a bit more. No, not in that way, you dirty-minded person you. But yes, you could wish to add a bit of stranger-danger, hadn't-you-best-keep-your-hugs-to-yourself lesson to the use of this book before too long. Just in case. Before then, this is slight, and I guess a winner, but I can't testify to using it on the target audience.

A Great Day For A Hug is an adorable book for toddlers showing how even the smallest person can help by being kind. Chick is small, but wants to help. Chick brightens the day of all the animals on the farm by giving hugs and being kind. A very sweet book about how important kindness is.
