I received an ARC of this book for an honest review. This one took me a few chapters to fall in love, but once I did.....I really enjoyed the story, and the characters. I think there is so much emphasis on knowing what you want to do today after college-and I think so many of us just don't know! It takes time and experience to grow into your career-and sometimes your career is just a job, and that's okay too. I also love the message that you can't lose yourself to be part of a couple, although this book takes that to an extreme.

I think I love Kerry Winfrey. With every book, she proves that she gets the romance genre. I loved Very Sincerely Yours. There is the perfect balance of a woman finding herself, but finding love along the way. Teddy is a treasure - she proves you don't need to have it all perfectly figured out to live a fulfilling life. And this story proves you don't have to lose yourself when you become part of a couple.

I will be happy to keep returning to the quirky world that Kerry Winfrey has created. And I'm craving some Taco Bell too...

This was a cute premise (love the You've Got Mail vibes) and I read it quickly despite the reading slump that I've been in lately but something was off for me. Ultimately I just didn't connect with the characters enough - neither Teddy nor Everett felt completely real to me and Teddy's helplessness at the beginning was so off-putting that I might have DNFed if I hadn't heard things improved after a bit. I liked Teddy's friends and boss a lot though and I was pleasantly surprised to see Chloe and Nick from Not Like The Movies for their brief cameo.

From the first paragraph, I knew this book would be a good one. I immersed myself into the book from the first chapter and I cannot say enough good things about this book! Honestly amazing! The writing is incredible and the plot is just one to die for. I am absolutely obsessed with this book. My favorite part would have to be the character development throughout the book. Character development is something I look forward to and this book did not disappoint.

I can always count on Kerry Winfrey for charming and funny "old-school" romantic comedy. Very Sincerely Yours was no exception. The characters, especially Everett, were delightful and the love story felt like a movie in print. I loved the Mr. Rogers/Jim Henson comparisons, the 80s and 90s "retro" mentions throughout (a signature with Winfrey), and was thrilled for the cameo featuring characters from her previous novels. Not all romances require steam to be swoony as heck, and Winfrey proves this every single time.

Another charming title from Kerry Winfrey set in Columbus Ohio. Her characters are quirky and the supporting cast is well developed. I loved the meet cute trope and the way the couple communicated as the grew and addressed their own issues. Very satisfying well paced read - highly recommended

I almost couldn't make it through the first part of the book because the main character was so helpless. I don't know if I'm getting old or jaded, but the character seemed emotionally stunted. The character is 30 years old, but doesn't know a thing about life. Once I got past the fact that she was, indeed, so clueless, I enjoyed the book. The romance was sweet and I think patrons will like this one.

A lovely, feel good novel! I really fell into this one and it was just what I needed between some of the other more intense reads. If you like You've Got Mail you will probably like this one!

Thanks NetGalley for this ARC!

I’m a big fan of Kerry Winfrey and her books. Whenever I start one of her books, I know there will be a charming story, delightful Pop Culture references, witty dialogue and a sweet romance. Oh- and there is always a passage that catches me off guard and leaves me in stitches.

I’m always just happy when I’m reading one of her books. They make me feel like I do when I put on my favorite comfy pants and press ‘play’ on my favorite rom-com. I often think “Oh! This is just the Bee’s Knees” - thus the cocktail pairing.

What you should know about VERY SINCERELY YOURS. My biggest takeaway is that it’s a love letter to those of us who are still figuring out who we want to be when we grow up (raises hand). It’s like Kerry left a bit of her heart on the page and it came through in the writing and the overall reading experience.

PLUS:
- It’s a You’ve Got Mail meets Mr. Rogers rom-com.
- It has the most timeless character names. Everett St. James and Teddy Phillips.
- The supporting characters are precocious and endearing. They are also the best kind of instigators.
- A slow-burn that is light on the steam.
- Fresh & unique . He’s a local children's show puppeteer and she works at a vintage toy store. It totally works.
- If you’re looking for something to get you out of a reading slump- pick this up!

these are just enjoyable little reads! I read this pretttttty quickly during a night where I 1. drank coffee too late and 2. had anxiety so I read this as my companion from 11:30-1:30am.

What I liked about this one is that it very much focused on the development of the two characters. They each had their own baggage and issues but worked towards self improvement. They weren't doing it for anyone but themselves.

Some parts were repetitive but definitely overall enjoyed this one!

❣️Very Sincerely Yours by Kerry Winfrey, for release July 15

When Teddy is unexpectedly dumped by the man she’s dedicated the past few years of her life to, she writes to Everett- her favourite children’s show host. When the two begin to correspond, sparks fly. 😍

Kerry Winfrey’s rom coms fill me with the warm fuzzies. No matter what, they make me feel so happy, cozy and nostalgic with all the pop culture references (also there was a Chris Evans reference so I, of course, auto loved it).

💓I absolutely loved both Teddy and Everett (hello hot Mr Rogers...also recently played by Tom Hanks- how full circle!!). Both were so easy to root for and so well developed. There was so much depth and layered backstory to both of them. Teddy was a character that was so easy to root for!!

💓You’ve Got Mail vibes were so nostalgic while still feeling fresh and modern.

💓Karaoke love. That is all.

💓The witty banter between the two characters via email correspondence was hilarious and delightful. The tension and pacing was spot on.

💓I loved the messages of finding yourself, making the most out of life, and finding value outside of just your career.

Kerry’s writing style and humour is such a joy to immerse yourself in. This book is such a feel good read, which is exactly what everyone needs right now! 💖 massive thank you to Berkley, Netgalley, and Kerry Winfrey for access to this amazing ARC 💖

I adore books that are set in Ohio and no one makes me reminisce of my times in Columbus more than this author. I felt nostalgic reading this as the author would describe the locations in this book. As a fellow buckeye, just hearing Short North brought a wave of memories of checking out cute boutiques, amazing restaurants, and laid back bars. And to quote O.A.R., “that high street never looked so good.” I had an amazing four years at THE Ohio State University and I love getting to relive memories through her books. And yes, my mouth still salivates at just the mere mention of Jeni’s ice cream.

It was kind of hard to like Teddy in the beginning. She seemed helpless in the beginning without any motivation or drive. She was content in just existing, but once the author dove down to more of her background you became empathetic toward her and understood how her past affected her present. Her growth was inspiring and I enjoyed getting to go on this journey of self discovery with her.

I love Kristen and Elanore’s friendship with Teddy and how they support and encourage her. It’s empowering to see a female friendship filled with love and understanding above all. It was great to see that type of support system.

I love the idea of Anonymous pen pals and how the author uses this for the characters to have an unfiltered way of connecting. As the reader, I felt their emotions and got a better sense of their characters through their email. There is something so personal and intimate about being a part of their emails that brings the reader closer to the story. Both Teddy and Everett felt genuine and real, like people in your own circle of friends.

Overall, I thought this was an adorable story. Though the writing was a bit dry at times in the beginning, the humor and emotions outshined the moments of lull. It has the amazing charming voice that is unique to this author's writing style offering characters that are sweet and endearing. I cannot wait to see what comes next for this author. Thank you to Berkley and NetGalley for this ARC.

There’s just something about Kerry Winfrey. Her quintessential rom coms are the perfect “get you out of a reading rut” pick and I can’t recommend her books enough.

Very Sincerely Yours follows Teddy who is just getting out of a horrible relationship with a man who only loved her for her homemaking abilities and how she could help him pursue his own dreams. In attempts to find herself, Teddy decides that she will do one thing each day that scares her. Which includes emailing Edward St. James who hosts a local children’s television show (think hot Mr, Rogers-esque) to ask him for life advice. This leads to an email pen-pal relationship that just might help Teddy figure out what she wants out of life. For fans of Beth O’Leary and Emily Henry.

'Very Sincerely Yours' by Kerry Winfrey is adorable. Are you, like me, always lamenting the lack of great, modern rom coms? I mean, where did they all go? Ever sine Hugh Grant, Tom Hanks, and Richard Gere aged out of the genre, it all but dried up. Sure, there's the occasional book that fills the void, but they, too, are so few and far between. Well, my friends and fans of the genre, have no fear: Teddy and Everett's story is the feel-good rom com for which we've all been waiting. Winfrey's newest novel is well written, with multi-dimensional characters, plenty of quirkiness, and a plot that is familiar but not eye rollingly so. It's like a warm hug of a book, the perfect antidote to all the true crime docs you've been binging.

Two words. Wholesome overload.

If you like books that are extremely wholesome and feel like Hallmark movies, you might like this!! I’m not saying this is a bad thing, it’s just not MY thing right now. I didn’t read Kerry Winfrey’s previous novel WAITING FOR TOM HANKS but from reviews I’ve read, it seems that VERY SINCERELY YOURS has a similar vibe, so if you liked that one you might enjoy this one. Thank you to the publisher for the gifted copy.

I started this tonight thinking I would just read a little bit and read small bits throughout the week. Well fast forward 4.5 hours later and here I am writing my review! I read Kerry's first two novels after seeing her appear on Ashley Spivey's bookclub Instagram takeover last summer, and I knew I would read any future books by Kerry!

I was captivated by this story from the very first chapter! It was such a fun/horrible scene for Teddy, but very memorable! I instantly fell in love with both Teddy and Everet. Gretel was my absolute favorite, and I wish we could have seen more of her in the last half of the book!

What was best about this book was that it was so much more than just another romance story. This had some AMAZING life lessons, and showcased the importance of family and friends. This book showed that it is okay to not know what you want to do in life, and it is okay to stray from your original passion. It is okay to not do what is expected from others and you don't have to do what you said you wanted to do in elementary school!

This was a super fast read with so many lovable characters! You get dual narratives (always my preference), with short chapters and cute chapter numbers (you'll have to see it for yourself)!

Thank you Netgalley and Berkley for my eARC in exchange for a honest review!

This was such a cute novel. Any book with a spin on you've got mail, I am in because who doesn't love that movie?
Teddy and Everett were the epitome of cute and I adored them so much.
I love Kerry Winfrey's books and they always bring a layer of cute romance to my day.

I've loved books from this author in the past and this was no exception. So sweet and comforting—like drinking a a mug of hot chocolate in book form.

Adorable and cute book as I would expect from Kerry Winfrey. The “You’ve Got Mail” vibe was a fun adventure. I wish we would have seen a bit of a stronger self esteem from Teddy!

I would definitely give this 3.5 stars. I liked it. I laughed out loud a few times. The two main characters were likable and their dialogue was not just a bunch of "smart, witty" banter I have read as of late.

And while I say all those things this book was fine. It was enjoyable, I read it quickly, and I enjoyed a couple of the side characters as well. If you like romances when you know what is going to happen and the ending is clean pick this up.

I have decided I am more of a One True Loves romance reader-- no matter what happens at the end your heart is still going to be ripped to shreds type romance reader. LOL
