Nightmare sunset by Garon Whited. Audio preview.
This was a good listen I was enjoying this then it stopped. How do I get the whole book? 4*.

The audio preview copy contained just two chapters of the entire story & it really got me hooked. Though it got over, I kept wanting more. The plot seems really unique & intriguing one which I have never come across. The narrator's voice suited perfectly & was very clear.

Sunset (Nightlord #1)
By Garon Whited

Welcome to a whole new take on Vampires! Oh sure, they have the fangs, the blood lust, and are super sexy but keep reading because you are in for quite the ride!

The beautiful Sasha is the perfect partner to help Eric navigate his new reality after a night of drinking ends in her turning him. Unfortunately, their relationship is short lived when Sasha is killed, leaving Eric to avenge her death.

Dragons, love, a noble steed, revenge, dark realms, lust, the Church of light, a sword of flame, and twists that will keep you guessing until the very end. Garon covers a lot of ground in the suspenseful first installment of the Nightlord series. Sunset establishes deep character connections that will leave readers desperate for book two!

⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ 3.5 stars for this thrilling vampiric fantasy adventure. 14+ rating for mature content.

Nightlord: Sunset by Garon Whited
Narrated by Sean Runnette
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is an interesting take on vampires and other creatures. The pace is brisk and the tale is told in the first person narrative. The sample I received was of the first chapter or two of the book, so I didn’t dive deeply. I did, however, whet my appetite.

My star rating is based solely upon this sample. Once I have read the whole thing I’ll offer another review.

My thanks to Podium Audio via Netgalley for this audio sample of the book. The opinions shared are my own.

The narrator does a good job with his inflection and pacing but could add a bit more feeling when it comes to the scenes with anger or fear. This two chapter preview definitely has me eager to continue on reading the rest of the book.

Did not realize this was not a clip of the first book in a series, however, I found this to be really interesting! I would recommend going back to start with the first book, but this seems like a very promising installment.
