I LOVE LOVE LOVE this series and this book was a lovely edition. I love the "Russian", aka Vlad. He is so soft-hearted and sweet. I enjoyed hearing more about his mysterious wife and learning their love story. It was quite perfect and hard to put down.

I'm so glad the Russian got the love story he deserved. It seems that every romance I have read lately has a conflict that centers on the characters inability/refusal to communicate. In this one, at least, the characters' histories as individuals and a couple provide believable reasons for their reticence. As always, this series tackles difficult issues with heart and compassion.

Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for providing me with an e-arc in exchange for an honest review.

Am I ever glad that this one made up for Noah’s book! I adored the Russian in all the other books and couldn’t wait to hear his story. As usual I devoured this book. Not quite in one day but close enough. Lyssa Kay Adam’s has a way of intertwining a rom com story with a serious undertone seamlessly. I also adored that this book covered hockey, which I’m a huge fan of. I have to say this book is a close second for my favourite book in the series! Adams, you have done it again!

Absolutely adorable next tale in the wonderful Bromance series. Vlad, the Russian, was always my favorite and I’m so glad he gets his happy ending!

This is a great series and I have enjoyed reading them all. Excited for this voice after hearing parts of his story throughout the other three books. Thanks for continuing to write romance that the modern reader wants to devour. Also wonderful to see a man's perspective of trying to keep their romance alive whether married, dating or searching for the one. For readers who like hockey players, coffee, cats, need a title with a ? in it for a reading challenge :) And who doesn't like meddling widows?
Thanks NetGalley for the ARC!

*pterodactyl screech*

This might be my favorite of the series. I laughed, I cheered, I was invested in ALL of it. It just made me so happy.

I waffled between giving this 4 and 5 stars, but what cinched it was that abrupt and rushed anti-climactic ending. It all came together way too quickly, but it wasn't meant to be a thriller, so I get it. But when you are investigating a sex trafficking ring, and you unveil the king pin that you had been tracking your whole life in the operation...There needs to be a decent chunk of that dedicated to you coming to terms with certain revelations (spoilers!).

I NEED MORE.

This is another story about the group of men in the Bromance Book Club. This time the focus is on Vlad, aka the Russian, and his mysterious wife Elena. Vlad has been a fan favorite with this series and I have been looking forward to his story. Lysa Kay Adams wrote a great story that lived up to my expectations and is my favorite of the series so far. These books have an incredible cast of characters, each book focuses on one of the men in the club as they try to understand relationships and what women want. This often leads to hilarity and heartache. Even though the formula is the same the stories are always fresh and unique as are the men in the club.

Bottom line is that “Isn’t It Bromantic” is so much fun! These books are great and I devour them with a big smile on my face. I cannot wait for the next one. Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read the arc in exchange for an honest review

I am incandescently happy that my favorite Bromance Boy got his own book, and I was not disappointed. There was so much good stuff in here—a book within a book, crazy past history, a new nickname for Vlad, a mysterious Cheese Man (please let there be more Cheese Man), and of course my favorite part of all of the Bromance Bookclub books—the Bromance Bookclub itself.

I thoroughly enjoyed learning about Vlad and Elena’s complicated history, which heavily features their childhood and Elena’s usually-absent journalist father. There were a few different storylines going on, but of course the most compelling was focused on this crazy separation between Vlad and his wife (whom nobody thought actually existed) and the subsequent forced proximity following Vlad’s hockey injury. It was a slooow burn, which I sometimes enjoy, but I kinda wanted a little more spice between Vlad and Elena. As always, I’m looking forward to the next book in this series! (And again, please, more Cheese Man!)

Isn’t It Bromantic? is the 4th book in the Bromance Book Club series.

In this book we get the Russians story. This was the one I was dying to read! Vlad was a character that I found so mysterious and I needed his story! He is the definition of a giant teddy bear. I absolutely love his character.

I really enjoyed Vlad and Elenas story, friends to lovers is one of my favorite tropes. Childhood friends even better!
Elena is by far my favorite of the women. She is strong and feisty, just everything I love in a heroine. Perfect for our sweet Vlad.

Also can I say I absolutely loved the cheese man. The scenes with the cheese man had me dying.

Lyssa Kay Adams is becoming my favorite romance author. I’m so looking forward to the next book!

The anticipation for this book is off the charts and Adams did not disappoint. The Russian finally got his love story! I really enjoyed getting to know him for more than a fart joke and I was pleasantly surprised that the book didn't linger in that role that he previously filled. The storyline was by far the most intriguing to me of the series since the very first one that got me hooked. I will say the only thing that was a disappointment to me was Elena's journalist subplot. It wasn't developed through out the book well, but as a true romance reader I'm not even there for the subplot yet I felt the dread of knowing we had to get through it all at the end when I just didn't care at that point. The couple was great and so was their timeline so I just wanted more of them! I know readers will be very excited to read Vlad's story and will be hoping for Colton's next!

Vlad, aka the Russian--hockey player, bearer of gastrointestinal distress, giant teddy bear, and the member of the bromance book club with possibly the most secretive home life. He's been a steadfast member of the book club from the start of the series, but with Isn't it Bromantic, those secrets finally come to light.

Despite being childhood friends, Vlad's marriage to Elena was only ever a marriage of convenience. With her past tied to the dark workings of the Russian criminal underworld, Elena has spent her life hiding while remaining desperate to uncover the secrets that stole her father from her. As she finishes her education and considers what her future holds, the gulf between her and her husband feels as great as ever.

But when Vlad is injured, Elena finds herself in the most capable position to care for him during his recovery. With a host of friends and neighbors more than happy to stick their noses into Vlad's and Elena's marriage--and with a great many things left unsaid on both sides of their relationship--this crossroads in their story will drag old secrets into the light and test whether one of the book club's greatest romantics will finally find his happily ever after.

With this fourth book in the series, Adams brings Vlad from comedic relief to half of the emotional center of the novel. Preserving the humor that has always defined this series and The Russian's character, Adams reveals the depth and complexity that have been there all along. With the ridiculous hijinks of the club continuing unabated, Vlad and Elena's story is absolutely adorable, run through with sweet and tender moments and a chemistry that burns hot even when they're completely clueless about the state of their own relationship.

Isn't it Bromantic gives us a new in-story romance novel with a twist, along with the usual dose of meta-narrative as the guys do their best to navigate another real-life love story. The conflicts and characters make sense. People actually talk to each other during disagreements--and the times they hold back are reasonable for their characters rather than plot devices for drama. It's maybe a touch on the nose a couple times and delivers some rapid twists during the conclusion, but Isn't it Bromantic is probably the best book in the series thus far. It is an utter delight to read, humorous and heartwarming--sure to please fans of the series or readers encountering the Bromance Book Club for the first time. Adams's writing is still going strong, and I'm eagerly waiting to see what she delivers next.

Thank you to Berkley Pub and NetGalley for a gifted copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

I'm so happy the Russian got his own story! This series is so good and never lets me down when I need a fast paced, witty romance to get me out of a slump. Vlad and Elena's marriage of convenience/friends to lovers romance is so adorable and I love what a big softie Vlad is! I really liked how Adams snuck in her thoughts on men writing romance novels, virgins, sex trafficking and immigration laws in this country.

I hope this series never ends!

The Bromance Book Club series continues with another meta love story about relationships and the romance genre. In this installment, Vlad (aka “The Russian”) finally gets his own love story. Vlad’s buddies think he has a happy marriage, but no one knows it’s truly one of convenience, entered into so Vlad’s childhood friend Elena could leave Russia after her journalist father was murdered. But after watching his friends find love, Vlad is no longer content to be a husband in name only. He wants love—and, using the romance novel he’s been writing (!!) as a template, his friends are determined to help him capture his wife’s heart. This novel stands alone, but those familiar with the series will be privy to inside jokes galore and familiar characters who feel like real friends.

Isn't It Bromantic? is the fourth book in the Bromance Book Club series and it might just be my favorite so far.

Vlad, The Russian, has been one of my favorite secondary characters. He is gentle, emotional, and honestly just a teddy bear. Vlad is a star hockey player who cries at weddings, loves animals, and is addicted to cheese. He also has a gluten allergy and I loved that Lyssa helped Vlad deal with his digestive issues before he got his own book. Vlad is just a stubborn cinnamon roll.

Vlad married Elena to help get her out of Russia after her father, a journalist, was killed. He's only ever wanted her but it looks like Elena doesn't want him. He waited for her, like his mom told him to do, but he never told Elena how he felt. Elena wants to get divorced and go back to Russia to become a journalist and Vlad's heart is broken.

A serious injury brings Elena to Vlad's hospital bed and after miscommunication galore they finally decide that Elena will live with Vlad to help take care of him. I enjoyed getting to know Elena more and seeing what her feelings for Vlad were. My heart ached for both of them and the miscommunication that resulted in them losing years that they could have been together. I loved seeing Vlad's romantic and vulnerable side. Watching both Elena and Vlad realize their stubbornness was getting in the way of their happiness was great.

I loved the book club men and Vlad's neighbors, The Loners, a group of rag-tag women. The speak-cheesy was a great way to add humor and had me laughing. I also loved the snippets of Vlad's novel that we got to see.

If you haven't read the Bromance Book Club series yet, what are you waiting for?

Despite not being a reader of heterosexual romances I have been an avid fan of this series since the beginning, and a Vlad fan the whole time, so I was so excited to see this book was about him! I was worried about him being a fart joke in his own book like he was in the previous three books, but that is not the case from the very first page.

I enjoyed reading about Elena, his wife, who has studied to become a journalist like her late father, who was disappeared in Russia for working on a sex trafficking case. Elena has picked up the case and has been working on it in secret in the States, This was an interesting plot point that I felt didn't really get an in-depth treatment in the book, which was a little disappointing.

Vlad and Elena were childhood friends to marriage of convenience to lovers but I was never really convinced by their relationship. You could argue after six years apart they would be essentially strangers which would explain why they never really felt like they had a history of friendship, but I'm not sure.

Maybe it's because I am not a romance reader generally, but I feel like throughout the series, no matter how different the side characters are they kind of turn into the same character when it gets to their book. Like the dude is big protective can't communicate and the woman is so determined to be independent she makes reckless decisions, ect.

I don't read this series for the sex scenes but the ones in this book compared to the other books were.....underwhelming, to say the least.

The relationship between the guys in the Bromance Book Club were sweet, at least! If you are a fan of Colton, he was in this book quite a bit.

If you are unfortunate enough to be a hockey fan like me, don't expect accuracy haha. It's nothing that I would count against the book since obviously it's a romance not a hockey book but some details had me pulling my hair out (shaving during playoffs?? Never saying who wins the Stanley Cup???? I Need Answers, Ma'am!!!)

Ultimately this was a decent book, but I was a little disappointed, sadly. That's just me, though! I would definitely recommend it if you have read the previous books.

Like all the other books in this series, this book was a fun and easy read. I love all the characters in this series, especially the men. They are fun, down to earth and their view point on gender norms is fabulous!

I can't get enough of Lyssa Kay Adams and this delightful series! Isn't It Bromantic has it all: slow burn romance, found family, and (odd but so charming!) an underground fromagerie. The highlight of this series for me, besides Adam's ability to make chemistry and sexual tension come alive on the page, is the Bromance Book Club gang and their friendship. So endearing and hilarious! Readers will melt into a puddle over pro hockey player Vlad. It is a delight to see him front and center! All I can say is, what Bro gets their HEA next?! I can hardly wait.

Who would've thought that The Russian would end up becoming my favorite "Bro"? Not me!

I really enjoyed reading Vlad and Elena's love story. I'm a sucker for marriage in crisis trope, even when the "marriage" was done in convenience. Bonus points that we know it's actually done out of love. I can't believe this is (supposedly) the last Bromance book. I need more of them!

I don’t know how Alyssa Kay Adam does it! Every book in the Bromance series is better than the last. Each character is full of realistic nuances that make them seem so real. This time, we follow the Russian and get to meet his Wife.
