This is the third book in the Peak Valley Forever series following the lives of the Colton men. Sarah and Colton were high school sweethearts who parted ways when Sarah went off to College and Eric stayed behind in Peak Valley. Their attraction has never wavered over the years and has brought them together a few times for short periods only to part again as neither of them can express their feelings to the other. With both of them ending back in Peak Valley for a trial and an unknown secret, will this finally bring them together or will the continue on their same path. This was an easy fun read.

A lovely second chance romance, both Eric and Sarah have left Peak Valley, with Eric vowing never to move back. When Sarah needs a support system after finding out she’s pregnant Eric has no choice but to follow, misunderstanding ensues until after the trial and love smooths it over.. A story with intrigue, romance and fun, looking forward to reading more from this author.

I have just found Ms. Dixon in the last six months, but she quickly becomes a one-click author. I love this Peak Valley series.

In the third book, we get to know Eric Colson, the brother who vowed not to return to Peak Valley. Be careful what you wish for. Sarah and Eric have been together as teens, but now it is distance and convenience. Needing a support system behind her, Sarah returns to Peak Valley. Will Eric follow or stay in Texas? Will they solve the mystery that lands on their doorstep? Can they follow their hearts for a second chance? The Author said it best: “A Romance with Peaks and Valleys”.

Can we talk about Burns, and will this man get his own book? He gets the best dialog, and the way this book ends is probably his best advice yet.

Thank you to NetGalley and the Author for an advanced copy for my voluntary review

Best In The Series So Far!!
Eric Colson is a PI. He left Peak Valley behind years ago.

“You’re a good man, Eric.” Burns pats my shoulder. “A jackwagon sometimes, but a good man.”

Sarah Barker is back in town with a secret that will affect the rest of both there lives.

He stares at me as if I’m the most beautiful thing he’s ever seen

“Sarah’s pregnant,” Burns repeats wide-eyed. “With a baby?” “No, with a gremlin.” Jax shots him a sarcastic smile. “Jackwagon,” Burns mutters, smacking the back of Jax’s head.

This second chance small town romance hits you in the heart. All our favorite characters are back. Burn’s just makes this whole series special. He is my favorite character. He will crack you up!!

“I don’t think Burns has ever seen a baby before,” I pipe in with a teasing wink at Burns. “I have so seen a baby, just not one freshly baked.” “Freshly baked?” Amber scrunches her eyebrows at Burns.

“Not a single one of these jackwagons have gotten down on one knee.” Burns scowls at my brothers, who are smirking at us from the hall. Burns then points at Sarah. “Make him ask you again. On. One. Knee.”

Sarah & Eric were together as teens but leaving peak valley for their careers he decided to end it.
Eric struggles to remember the good times he had there and is determined never to return to Peak Valley
The last time they caught up left her making the decision to return home to Peak valley, but will he follow?
I've enjoyed reading this series and I'm looking forward to reading the next book "Picture forever" which I'm hoping is Jax's book?.
