I've read this book several times, at first going through quickly, then felt that did not do the author and her message, or even myself justice. The truth in Laura Aversano's words resonate deeply, awakening a truth that seems to have a healing effect. I will read this book again as well as share it with some close friends. It is truly a gift that has the ability to open and share the lightness of the spirit that is in all of us.

203 Pages
Publisher: Inner Tradition
Release Date: June 15, 2021

The book is divided into the following chapters.

Chapter 1: Light Calling from the Abyss
Chapter 2: Forgiveness
Chapter 3: Courage and Grace
Chapter 4: The Pause
Chapter 5: Balance
Chapter 6: Reconciliation
Chapter 7: Changes of Worlds

The author discusses growing up Catholic and reading about the healing abilities of Jesus and the Saints. She begins the book with a letter to Corona. She discusses the psychological and spiritual effects the pandemic has on society now and in the past. She talks about God but uses the pronouns He/She and references the Divine. Some of the entries are just a few words while others hare paragraphs. This is an interesting book and I recommend it to anyone that finds peace in affirmations.

This is a lovely book but I found it hard to stick with it. It is definitely a book or a niche audience, and it will be a great fit for some people. As it was one that I had a hard time getting through, I won't be publicly reviewing it. It is very positive and uplifting for those who are spiritual and looking for reassurance.

I received a copy of this book for a fair and honest review. I love books that have me take a look at myself but not the surface me but the me that is deep inside that few get to see. The place the light and the dark meet inside. The place where happiness and fear meet. This book had me looking at all the things that I keep hidden inside of me and sometimes often ignore or try to forget. This gave me back some of my power to heal what is going on inside of me. There as a lot in this book that I could relate to and that is not something that I can say all the time. It left me feeling a bit lighter when I was done.

This was an interesting read however I found my attention waning in places. The insights were interesting especially in the light of how the world has changed in the last year or so. A bit of a niche book.

A really helpful book for me I found, really inspiring and full of practical affirmations for the everyday or for the days were you need more healing or to manifest more into your life. I have found since I’ve been using this it really helps with my anxiety and depression, an insightful and helpful healing book, full of genuine intention, the authors words I found very powerful. Highly recommended for part of your spiritual shelf.
