The Summer Sisters is a really good story so far. I need to read the rest of the story. I will get my own copy if the library doesn't have a circulating copy soon enough. Thanks for the preview!

This book seems so cute! I haven’t read any of the Buchanan Sisters books, but I’m thinking I should! I love a good renovation story and add cowboys? Perfect combination! I think this would be a super fun read, especially as a beach or travel read!

I haven’t read the first in this series so was new to the story of the Buchanan sisters.
From the first four chapters of this book I thoroughly enjoyed the story and the writing structure. I found pure escapism whilst reading with a feel good feeling.
I will read the first book in the series - Home for the Holidays and then return to read this one in entirety.

I've never done a review on a preview of a book, but this one really caught my attention and so I requested to do the preview. I have read Sara Richardson books and really like them, so I expected this preview would be good. It was. I am very interested in finding out about Dahlia's story. The other two didn't really grab me yet, but I'm sure they will. Looking forward to reading the rest of this book. 5 stars for the start of this book.

Reading this short snippet of the book makes me want to read more to see the rest of the story. There is a renovation project going on, a family feud comes to the forefront and oh my I think I see the possibility of more than one romance brewing.
Such a cute book. I want to read more.

I was given a complimentary copy of this book. Thank you.

(actual rating: 3.5/5)

While I know that some others aren't quite as fond of it as I am, I absolutely love all book tropes that have to do with families. In particular, I love it when over the course of a story, a family that has been estranged for whatever reasons and disagreements is able to come together and embrace each other once again. My hop eis that with this book, that's exactly the plotline I'll get, as I'd really love the opportunity to read this.

Maybe it's just been too long since I've read the first book in the series, but it felt like things were more wrapped up in regards to the sister's dating lives when that one finished than they are now? Interesting that we're getting Sassy's POV this time though.

I'm a sucker for a renovation love story! There's something about the setting of a fixer-upper that is so satisfying. I'm intrigued by these womens' backgrounds, and interested to see where their relationships--romantic and family alike--take them. This looks like the perfect thing to read on a gorgeous summer day! I'm really craving this type of book right now, and I'm excited to read the rest of it.

Focused on 3 sisters Rose, Magnolia and Dahlia. The 3 of them have grown up going to their Aunt Sassy's Juniper Inn that they will do anything to make sure that the Inn will be perfect shape for the grand reopening of the inn. The story switches between the sister's and aunt's perspective. Rose is so desperate to renovate their Aunt Sassy's inn that she pitches in with the renovation which doesn't turn out so well. Looking forward to seeing the dynamic of the sisters and how the renovation goes on the inn.

The second in a series and this is a romance series where I would completely suggest starting at book one as you will need to know what happens in book one to continue to book two.

The Buchanan sisters are enjoying their time with their aunt and are hoping to repair the relationship between their aunt and their mom that has been decades in the making. While they are fixing up their aunt's inn to reopen, they both may also find love in unlikely locations.

I loved book one in this series and was excited to return to these sisters and while I loved the moments where the sisters were interacting and doing what they needed to do for their aunt and their mother, the love story portion for each women wasn't my cup of tea. Both women in this book were wishy washy and spent the whole book debating about if they wanted to be in love and while I could have enjoyed that for one character, to have both felt a little too much in one book.

I have been a fan of Sara Richardson and love how she portrays women as strong and having their own lives while love walks in, for me this one wasn't one of my favorites. I wonder if there will be another in this series and will be intrigued to see if the sisters have more to share.

Thank you to Forever Pub and NetGalley for the preview of chapters 1-4 of The Summer Sisters by Sara Richardson.

I was hoping to enjoy the preview, but I found it to be a bit flat. There were a lot of names and nicknames to remember, and I did not find the different view points to be very clear. I recommend reading the prequel, Home for the Holidays, before beginning The Summer Sisters.

After reading Home for the Holidays back in December 2020, I was so excited to see that the Buchanan sisters' stories would continue in The Summer Sisters. This was just a preview of the first four chapters, but I am already hooked. Aunt Sassy and Colt are just returning to Juniper Springs from an extended vacation. Rose has been busy supervising the renovations of the Juniper Inn to restore it to it's former glory, but everything is not going as smoothly as planned. Dahlia has just moved to Juniper Springs full-time with her children and is anxious about how to move forward with her relationship with the town doctor, Ike, whom she met when she was visiting over the holidays. Jumping back into these characters' stories feels like coming home and I can't wait to get my hands on a copy of The Summer Sisters to see what happens next!

Thank you to Forever Pub for the opportunity to read the preview and provide my honest review.

Thank you Netgalley and Forever publishing for the preview of chapters 1-4 of The Summer Sisters.

This story is a continuation of the Juniper Spring series. The story starts with catching us up on where Rose, Sassy and Dahlia are at present. Rose is trying to get the repairs done on the Juniper Inn, and things haven’t been going to plan. Dahlia is not sure if she or her kids are ready to continue her relationship with Ike now that she has moved back to Juniper Springs. Sassy has ended her traveling early because she has been having headaches that are getting worse.

The story feels warm and endearing, I like that the family’s relationships are prominent and will enjoy seeing how they support each other. I can see how Sassy not wanting to share her health issue will play into the story and I am anxious to find out how that will be resolved.

I hope to be able to finish The Summer Sisiter.

Sara Richardson did an exceptional job of writing this book.

I only got to read the first four chapters with this preview but I cannot wait to read the rest! I connected to the characters and look forward to how this story ends. It seems sweet and touching; a true tale of sisterhood, love and family. Thanks for the preview - I hope to receive the whole book soon!

I am anxious to read the rest of the book. The first 4 chapters gave me an introduction to Dahlia and Rose along with their aunt Sassy and I'd like to see what happens with the Juniper Inn and the relationships they have started.
