What a wonderful book by Bernie Ashman. An experienced astrologer who makes sense of how the past and its energy can influence the present. Clearly written and worth your time the insights and realistic life examples bring the theory to fruition. How ever you support your spiritual side this book will add a broader and more insightful perspective to your search. Definitely worth the time investment which reaps a very personal reward.

This was a interesting and informative read to a novice of the subject. It had useful ideas and descriptions.

I love most everything related to astrology and my sun sign, but I had a very hard time connecting with this book. I fully believe that we do have hidden or unconscious past life memories and couldn't wait to read more. The information for my sun sign did not give me any AHA moments or make me want to dive deeper into any of the categories. The layout of the information for each sun sign was the same and I found it to be slightly confusing as it listed several categories that you might be experiencing as past life karma or memories, explaining how this would look specific to your sun sign (either for you or someone that is exhibiting this behavior in your life). Then it would repeat the exact same categories again with suggestions on how to move beyond the past life Karma and memories. For me it would have been helpful to have the explanation and the suggestions for learning all together for each category. There would be less page flipping back and forth.

I will be rereading all of the information for my sun sign again, because I do realize that our shadow self can sometimes hide our understanding that there are patterns we repeat because we need to learn something.

Reading this book was very transforming for me. I have always been interested in past lives but never considered the part astrology might play in it. Now I look at my relationships and my future with a more observant attitude. Easy to read and fun, very perceptive in its nature this book has given me an interest in learning more about astrology and my karma.

We have a fiction story group at my library. Having said that, I am always on the lookout for new and interesting ways to give characters depth and astrology is one of the ways I, personally, like to do that. This seemed like it would be an interesting extension of that process and found lots of fascinating insights and possible avenues to explore with character creation! Thank you for allowing me to preview this title, it was illuminating.
