There is nothing like Christmas at the Plaza...

This book will easily fill your heart with so much emotion and joy as you follow not only Ian and Sabrina's romance, but also Grayson and Veronica's tale as old as time. Hands down is THE Christmas book of 2021!

As you read, you quickly learn that love is worth all the hard work you have to put in for it to be successful and that it is so timeless. As one of the characters in the book says: “Love isn’t a game of poker, where you see who ends up with the best hand. It’s about two people coming together and creating fireworks that only they can see."

Do yourself a favor and get this book as soon as you can for you or a friend who loves Christmas, or honestly love itself.

I really enjoyed this book. It really captured the essence of the magic of Christmas. The storyline was very well developed, moved quickly, and kept me wanting to read more, I fell in love with the characters, their stories, and life lessons learned along the way.

Thank you NetGalley for these advanced copy! I love a good holiday romance story and this book did not disappoint! It had enduring characters and all the magic of Christmas and New York City. I’ve never been to the city myself, but this book brought it all to life. I could smell the pine and feel the warmth of the Plaza from 2000 miles away. It made me long for butlers and my side table being filled with truffles and coffee without me even needing to request it. Christmas miracles, fresh snow, more than one love story, and an identity mix up set the stage for a perfect book to enjoy over holiday break next to the fireplace. I can definitely see “A Magical New York Christmas” gracing the Hallmark channel as my next favorite movie and I’m all in.

A Magical New York Christmas was a sweet holiday romance and it really did feel magical! Set at the Plaza Hotel during Christmas, Sabrina is down to her last bit of money and it set to work a job ghostwriting a memoir on a well-known art collector. This job meant that she would be staying at the plaza during this time and lo and behold would end up meeting Ian! Ian was a secretary to wealthy Spencer Braxton.
Sabrina meets Ian and they both end up assuming incorrectly about each others’ social and financial status. They are so sweet together and instantly form a connection that regardless of white lies, will be hard to break.

Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the arc of this book. All opinions expressed are my own. 4 stars!

Oh what a delight!! I couldn’t put this magical story down! Everything about it was perfection. I was completely absorbed in every character’s story. The Plaza is like a character in itself that hosts many special moments.
A magical story, in the perfect location during the most special time of year makes this book 5 stars!!

Thank you Netgalley for this ARC copy. Anita Hughes to me is synonymous with a winter/holiday book. She out did herself with A Magical New York Christmas. This is a sweet love story with the famous Plaza Hotel as a backdrop. Sabrina and Ian’s story is a good one. What I loved is being a tourist in New York during Christmas - it seemed truly magical. What made this story really fun was the fictional background of Sabrina’s job and learning small insights about the author of Eloise. Such a fun twist! It’s a story you can re-read every year.
