The Cafe Between Pumpkin and Pie is the third contemporary romance anthology set in Moonbright, Maine. Each anthology is set around Halloween, which is the small town's big celebration that draws tourists from miles. It's also when a woman can repeat a simple chant and see a reflection of her true love at midnight. All of the oldtimers in Moonbright swear that it's true.

Despite this being the third collection, you don't need to have read the first two to enjoy this one. Dive right in and enjoy!

All of the stories feature autumn goodness and baking. The Cafe Between Pumpkin and Pie is a PSL in book form with a triple shot of HEA. Enjoy the sweet, cozy vibe in this sweetly, sometimes steamy, read.

When I heard Kate Angell had a new book out, I immediately requested and received an Advanced Reader Copy. The opinions expressed are entirely my own.
The Café Between Pumpkin and Pie is the third book of shorts in the Moonbright series, and it is as wonderful as the first two. Autumn in Maine brings out the warm fuzzies in me, so these sweet and spicy tales are like candy. "Love Over Easy" features my favorite couple , Hannah and Jake. " The most magically romantic legend of all promises that a Moonbright woman will marry the man she sees reflected in a mirror on Halloween." Set during a Halloween parade, the stories satisfy my itch for romance, angst, and legends. Stacy Finz, "Love Rising", features Sydney and Nick with held over angst from high school. I enjoyed their story that ranges from Halloween to Thanksgiving. Marina Adair, "Romance on Tap", features Mila and twins, Hudson & Ford.
As a child, I loved Moon Pies for summer treats---so I cannot wait to make the yummy Whoopie pies from the included recipes.
Thank you NetGalley and Kate Angell for an ARC of this terrific book.

This second set of stories was wonderful. Should have read the first but didn't. Each one was well told and I didn't want them to end.

I think I’ve gained weight since I’ve been visiting Moonbright… I loved this anthology and how we get to read different authors couples’ stories. It’s sort of a bird’s eye view of Moonbright, along with a Halloween legend about finding your true “one”. I really loved Hannah and Jake. Both of them are just a wee bit broken and find their hearts when they spend time together. Jake is such a sweetie, at least to me. He seems like he’s never felt…enough but he’s just what Hannah needs and wants. And I could actually feel the energy coming off the triplets… So cute! Sydney and Nick are both stubborn, imho. Their relationship, if you can call it that, starts out contentious but reading how it changed and grew was pretty special. I had a harder time liking Mila and Ford and Hudson (the men are twins). There was more angst than I enjoy but I did like Hudson! Great anthology about another visit to Moonbright, Maine!

Sweet and utterly charming. A recommended purchase for collections where contemporary romances are popular.

THE CAFE BETWEEN PUMPKIN AND PIE

🌟🌟🌟

This was a compilation of three short stories. They were fun, cute romances, very easy to read and enjoy.

This book was quite interesting. It had three mini stories in this one book all based around the cafe between pumpkin and pie street. Very cute stories as each story was written by a different author. These mini stories were all romance but since they were only about 9 chapters each, they were quite quick and felt a little rushed. These stories all took place around the same time of the year and that is how they connected. Some characters did pop up in other stories as well. Overall, very cute book and would recommend to a friend.

A delightful book which has 3 stories written by 3 different authors all set in Moonbright, ME. All stories are based on a romantic legend about Moonbright women seeing a reflection of the man they will marry. I enjoyed all the stories.

I received this book for an honest review from netgalley #netgalley

I have been wanting to read this book for quite a while and it definitely did not disappoint. The fall setting really added so much to the plot and the characters.

Wow I’m definitely hooked on moonbright! This really is a feel good book you won’t want to put down. Three different love stories all linked to one place. My only complaint is the stories finished and I wanted more! Loved that this book incorporated three authors yet the stories fit together so well.

I thought I loved Hannah and Jake the best and was a bit stubborn to get to know Syd and Nick but they won me over too. Took me longer to get into Mila and those twins but again I ended up hooked! These characters really come alive, and you inadvertently start imagining moonbright and the different places. The humour is also very much there with me having random moments of laughter.

Reading this has definitely sent me on the hunt to read more of these books. If you like chic lit, that is feel good then this is the book for you.

A Halloween legend in a small Maine town. What's not to love? This isn't my typical genre to read, but I was drawn into the characters right away. I enjoyed how each of the three stories were written by a different author, but they all had minute details of Moonbright the same. This is a feel good, love exists read. Thank you to Netgalley and Kate Angell, Marina Adair, Stacy Finz for the opportunity to read this ARC.

YES! I didn't even know there was going to be a third book in the Moonbright series, but boy am I glad there is. It was so great to be back at this magical town again, to see some familiar characters and places, and to fall in love with new characters. It was nice to have Thanksgiving more incorporated and not just Halloween. Also... I'm dying for Nan's whoopie pie now! Dear author(s), please let this not be the last book in Moonbright!

Thank you to NetGalley and the author for an eARC, in return for a honest review.

This collection of three novellas each centered around the small town of Moonbright, Maine, is the perfect cozy light read for the autumn this year. The three women featured in the stories each have a connection with the cafe of the title as well as other related food-centered businesses in Moonbright, and the same town characters appear in each novella. Because of the shorter form, the relationships in the stories aren't as believably developed as they might be in a full novel, but they are suitably romantic and gently humorous. Each woman has issues to overcome to find her best self, her real vocation, and her true love interest. For anyone looking to while away a fall day with a Hallmark movie in a book, this charming collection should appeal.

Moonbright sounds like a wonderful little town. This book takes place during the fall and Halloween. Each story has just the right amount of romance and all leave you wanting more.
I enjoyed the book
Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the early copy

Okay, I loved this!! I did not realize there were two other Moonbright books prior to this one and I immediately snatched them from my library upon finishing this one. These books are perfect fall season short story romances. Are they predictable happily-ever-afters? Yes, of course! But sometimes you just need that kind of feel-good romance story read. The authors do a wonderful job of bringing the town and all it's characters to life. The perfect fall time gooey mushy romance read. Although, be warned, if you are the type of person who prefers bedroom intimacy to happen behind closed doors, this may not be the book for you!
