An Amish Schoolroom is an easy-to-read, engaging collection of three novellas by three of my favorite Amish fiction writers. Even though these are short novellas, each provides a complete, satisfying handling of its characters and subject. Through these stories, we get a glimpse into the lives of three single Amish teachers and the challenges they face as they leave their homes and travel to another community to pursue their life’s calling. We also meet the three special men who win their hearts and help them through the challenges. With smoothly flowing plots, endearing characters, sweet romance, and inspiring spiritual truths, these stories will entertain you and make you smile. I thoroughly enjoyed this collection and highly recommend it.

I love story compilations, romance, and Amish storylines, and this book delivers on all three! This book has three stories that all center around different teachers new to their Amish schools and the friends and love they find along the way. Though each story is short, you grow to care about the characters and what is happening to them. The storylines are great and all wrap up great at the end. The styles of all 3 authors go well together. An all-around good Amish romance read!

Three of my favorite "Amish" authors have each written a short story that you will be able to breeze through in a lazy afternoon or relaxing evening. Each was a sweet romance about Amish teachers meeting their sweethearts as they all make a fresh start in new communities.

If you like Amish romance, you'll definitely enjoy these stories. They'll warm your heart and put a smile on your face.

Thank you Netgalley for the opportunity to read and review. All opinions are my own.

This is a nice collection of stories that depict the lifestyle of Amish women who teach school. Each teacher leaves her own community and family and relocates to an unfamiliar area. The stories have fast moving plots, magnetic characters and a sweet romance too. These are just right for a calming read before bedtime or a peaceful vacation entertainment.

In general I am not a fan of novellas, as they seem to be rushed and missing key parts. This is not the case here though, with these three short stories about Amish women who wan t to teach school and fall in love. Sweet stories, and all fell complete. Enjoyable read, and would be perfect for summer reading. Highly recommend this book and the three authors.

My favorite thing about these collections is that there's always at least one story that tugs your heart strings, and this one was no exception. The three women featured in these stories are teaching at Amish schools, and each is a new teacher feeling her way through it. There are varying circumstances - one has just returned to the community from the Englisch world - but they must all find their footing in a new community and new job. Luckily for them, there's always a handsome man nearby... These sweet romances are about finding yourself, gaining confidence, and following the path God has for you.

These three short stories by different authors are all about young unmarried Amish ladies who want to be teachers. Each one goes to another place to do their job. Each one meets a local Amish gentleman and falls in love. Each setting is different and each situation is different and together they give a birds eye view of what an Amish one room school is like. These were entertaining and informative and each one gives you a whole story in one sitting.

I have voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book that I received from NetGalley. All views expressed are only my honest opinion.
