This is the second book I have read by Ophelia London and The Amish Cowboy's homecoming is truly a great one. I was given an ARC by Entangled Publising, LLC through NetGalley and was not required to give a positive review.

Grace Zook is not your typical Amish Maiden. She is a very talented horse trainer and hopes to take over her father's business when he retires. The village of Honey Brook is small and quaint but seems to overlook Grace's job with her father.

A new horse is being delivered by a very rice Englisher for training and Grace's father brings in another trainer to oversee the training. This rubs Grace very wrong.

The rest of the story deals with Grace and Isaac King's adjustment to this unconventional situation.

Can Grace's desire to train horses and Isaac's desire to make a new home for his family co-exist?

You will love this addition to the Honey Brook Series. I give this book 5-stars, and can't wait for Ophelia's next one.

The release day is April 27, 2021. Pre-0rder your copy today.

Such an attractive book cover.

This is the second book of Ophelia London I have read.

I enjoyed this book more because of the two main characters. Grace Zook and Isaac King.

The Amish fiction genre is one genre I am yet to get tired of reading. The simple way of life of the Amish appeals to me.

Horses are one of my favorite animals so reading about horses in this plot is a bonus point from me.

Ophelia writes well. Her language and writing style is so easy to comprehend.

I must confess, it took me a while to get into this book. You will need a great deal of patience because the plot is promising and you would love to see if Grace’s enmity towards Isaac will last. No spoilers intended.

This is a clean Amish book and I recommend it for Amish fiction lovers.

Themes of friendship, faith, family life, community life and many more were explored in this book.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are mine.

Grace Zook has spent her lifetime working with and training horses on their farm. This is not the traditional work of an Amish woman, yet she has become a master trainer.

Grace’s father hires widower, Issac, to help his daughter train a very unruly horse to become a champion jumper. Obviously, Grace is very upset to have someone infringe on her territory of training, but is able to come to terms of having to work with Issac.

There are many twists and turns to this book. It is very predictable along the way, but still lends to being a good book. I would recommend it to those who enjoy reading Amish books.

Thanks to Entangled Publishing, LLC and NetGalley. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I really wanted to like this book, but it was just a little bit too cheesy for me. Most romances are somewhat predictable, but this one was just a little over the top.

The author gives us a young Amish woman, one who is bucking tradition, and has dedicated her life to training horses on her Dad’s horse farm. Then her father goes and hires another trainer to take care of their new patient, instant dislike, but living their faith they tolerate one another.
When we watch these talented and gifted people work patiently with this really wild horse, magic happens in more than one way, they begin to have mutual respect for one another, and maybe more.
Now this is the second book in this series, and I enjoyed being reunited with some of the previous characters and continuing on with their lives, but this can be read alone.
Will Grace and Isaac be able to overcome their differences and forge a relationship? There are answers here, and I loved how we get to the ending, and see what happens in all the lives that we follow here!
I received this book through Net Galley and Entangled Publishing, and was not required to give a positive review.

I loved this book, not just because the author is a favorite of mine but because it it was just GOOD! You will want to know what happens as soon as you open the book. It has lots of twists and turns and you have a moment where your fingers are crossed, but it is sweet and fun! Definitely give this one a read!

THE AMISH COWBOY'S HOMECOMING BY Ophelia London

What do two Amish horse trainers have in common? One is Grace Zook, who desperately wants to take over her father's horse training farm and the other is Issac King a young widower with a small daughter Sadie, whom he wants to keep safe and raise right. They find that they have a lot of similar ideas when it comes to training a high-strung, maltreated gelding Cincinnati, nicknamed Sin for short. Sin has champion bloodlines and his owners have suddenly decided they want him to be trained.

Issac has been hired by Grace's father, to lead Sin's training. Grace hasn't been informed of the reason for him taking the lead with the training and she is distressed to find out.

Issac and Grace must work together to gain Sin's trust so that he can grow into the champion horse that he is meant to be. Somewhere along the way, Issac and Grace develop feelings for one another and have to make decisions regarding those feelings.

This book was quite enjoyable, the characters are developed so that you feel like you are friends with them. This is a standalone book.

I greatly appreciate the complimentary copy of #theamishcowboyshomecoming from #netgalley @netgalley I was under no obligation to post a review.
