This is a romance. I have to say I found the storyline really great, and this is so much more then a romance. This is a short, fun, and quick read. I really loved the characters in this book. The only thing I did not like about this book is the beginning felt like we where dropped in the middle of a story, but we got to back story pretty quickly. I also felt the two main characters really fit together really well, and they made each other better. I also wish we got to know the ex-husband character because he was talked about a lot through out this book. This was a really enjoyable book with a great storyline and characters. I was kindly provided an e-copy of this book by the publisher (Harlequin Special Edition) or author (Christine Rimmer) via NetGalley, so I can give honest review about how I feel about this book. I want to send a big Thank you to them for that.

This is part of the Valentine brothers series. #10. This is Ian and Ella’s story and proves that best friends are. Dry important. Can be read as a stand alone but the previous couples are updated. I received a copy of this Arc in exchange for a fair and honest review.

I really want to read the earlier books in this series. I fell like I missed a lot of backstory.
Still, I found this book had a heartwarming story and characters I cared about.
I am officially a fan!
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for providing an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

This was my first Harlequin book and I was immediately intrigued by the cover and the synopsis. I felt a bit lost at the beginning of the book and that I had missed out on quite a good chunk of the main story by not having read the previous books.

That being said, I was still immediately pulled in to both Ian and Ella's story. You could feel the chemistry between these two on page so intensely. I also found the bond between Ella's daughter Abby and Ian absolutely beautiful.

My one gripe is that the ending seemed a tad too rushed.

A big thank you to NetGalley and Harlequin for allowing me to read a copy of this book!

Of course anything Harlequin gets my attention, and that is because their authors are consistently bringing believable love stories with great characters and lots of passion. This novel is no exception. Although not my very favorite, it does provide a welcome escape with is easy entertaining read.
