The latest instalment of the Adventure Zone graphic novel series keeps everything the previous books promised ! With the story becoming more and more complicated, I expected this one to be a bit more difficult to follow, but the adaptation is absolutely flawless!! With more and more hits at the bigger picture it is impossible to put the book down, and it got me excited for the rest of the story all over again. Whether you have listened to the podcast or not: if you're looking for a hilarious, incredibly written and super exciting fantasy story, look no further and start this series today. And, most importantly of course: Kravitz is here. And oh. Oh boy, I was not ready!

Another incredible installment to a series that I have been following with much excitement and anticipation, I feel like the storyline really flows and the characters have grown into their own and the art is absolutely incredible.

This was great, of course. The podcast is less fresh in my head now than when I read the previous books, but I think the changes that were made were great and I'm excited for the next one.

Another great addition to the TAZ graphic novel adaptations! Carey Pietsch's artwork is as perfect as always. And while the story occasionally got bogged down in setting up some of the metaphysical explanations for the larger overarching plot, I still thoroughly enjoyed this one.

The Crystal Kingdom arc is where The Adventure Zone podcast really starts to take off, in my opinion, so I was eager to get my hands on this book. I was particularly interested to see how they adapted the crystal song, since it was such a big part of the podcast plot for this arc. (I also couldn't wait to see everyone's favorite Grim Reaper). I think this book did a pretty good job; although it's not quite the same without all the funny voices etc, but what can you do. If you've enjoyed the previous GN adaptations, you'll enjoy this one, as well.

The next adventure in which Magnus, Merle, and Takko must recover the Philosopher's Stone in order to prevent a space station from crystalizing and crashing to Earth.
