I have to admit that when I started this book I was a bit worried that it would fall into the “it’s not you, it’s me category” because it just wasn’t grabbing hold of my attention, but I kept going and thankfully my worry was blown away. I ended up loving and adoring Molly and Smoke. They definitely met under the worst of circumstances but I ended up loving watching as they became everything to each other and more.

I adored Molly and Smoke. Molly is an amalgamation of strength and vulnerability that made it easy to not only like her, but to see her become more than she thought she could be. Smoke aka Mark is protective, generous and honest. He may not think he’s built to be in a romantic relationship, but he does know how to love those he calls his own.

Their journey to their HEA was definitely a unique one in all ways, but I thoroughly enjoyed watching them get to know each other and find that the attraction was mutual and that they fit in each other's lives better than they could have ever imagined.

This was a great read and addition to the series. It does, as one can expect, deal with some heavy issues and topics that may be triggers for some, but all are necessary to not only the plot of the story, but the evolution of both Molly and Smoke. And as for the rest of the Silverstone crew, I loved getting to hang out not only with Eagle and Taylor, Bull and Skylar and Gramps, but Archer and everyone who works for the towing company. I love the family vibe and really wanted to spend a lot more time with them all. Now, we only have Gramps’ HEA to go and his is going to be all kinds of interesting!

Is Silverstone Towing hiring? I'd happily go work there. The eye candy is outstanding. Even better, they are genuinely GOOD men. Even though they may do horrible things, it's a case of one small "bad" deed to save the world from a greater danger. Most definitely, the means justifies the end here.

Boko Haram invaded a girl's school in Nigeria and it was just Molly's luck to be there when it happened. She already thought she was bad-luck personified but now schoolgirls she's only just met think she's a jinx too! Her engineering skills are worth bupkiss currently - she's at the bottom of a hole as punishment for trying to escape.

Smoke is used to just vanishing into space. He can sneak up on anyone, anywhere. So literally falling into a hole in the middle of Nowhere, Nigeria, and landing on top of the very woman he's searching for was total luck! But getting Molly out of Nigeria is going to be a slog.

I can totally get Molly's mindset. I'm a bit of a bad-luck magnet myself. I too struggle with self-esteem issues and I had to laugh because Molly is just a younger, fitter, me! I was actually happy with the way Molly and Smoke tried to reset her mind and her fear - they really had other matters to worry about. The time for counselling and other treatments, etc was once they got home.

I love immersing myself in the geography of where the characters are and I had a headstart this time 'cos my brother in law is Nigerian and I felt like i was really there between the author's descriptions and his. Fab read!

While Molly and Smoke (Mark) meet in the Nigerian jungle, the story plays out when they are back home. But, similar to a meet-cute, this suspense meet is only the start.

Smoke steps in to give Molly a safe place to land, given her previous kidnapping troubles and coming home to her only family (grandparents) murdered. Although Smoke is enamoured from the start, I did appreciate that this was not an insta-lust situation. Instead, he gave Molly the space she needed to both come to terms with what has happened to her but also for them to get to know each other better. Although Molly is strong and brave, she does have a decidedly negative inner dialogue- but this forms part of the story and the impact that Smoke has on her worldview.

The story has all the same elements as other Susan Stoker books: Possessive hero, Sassy heroine, Good action and of course Romance, all neatly tied with technically flawless prose. Although this read is will probably not blow your mind, it is always good to know Susan Stoker is an author you can pick up without worrying about the quality.

This is book 3 in the Silverstone series and while it could be read as a standalone, I would recommend reading the first 2 books before this one just because all the characters are interconnected and introduced previously. In this one we get Mark "Smoke" and Molly's story. Molly is a schoolteacher who went to Nigeria just hoping to leave her "bad luck" behind her. She wasn't expecting to find herself kidnapped along with the schoolgirls from her class. Smoke and his team are sent to Nigeria to take out the target who kidnapped not only Molly but the schoolgirls. He knows his mission and he has no issues with heading into danger with his team. But he wasn't expecting to find Molly or to have the reaction that he does to her. And when he gets her back to the states and she finds out that her grandparent's passed away while she was gone, he gives her a place to come to terms with the things she missed. And to figure out her next move. But as they grow closer together, neither are expecting a past threat to come back for Molly.

I was slightly iffy with this one before I started it. I wasn't sure how much I would like someone who seemed to be characterized by her having bad luck. But honestly, I was surprised with how much I truly liked Molly's character. Yes, she has had bad things happen to her. But she actually takes the time to listen to the people who talk to her about it-and makes the conscious decision to not be so negative about her life and the things that happen. And when she feel's like she may be being negative-she makes a choice to change her own thinking! I loved that about her! She has not only this great heart to her but she is self aware enough to know that something has to change in order for her to find her happiness. That is the hardest thing for people to do! Smoke is this great human being who lost a lot growing up, just like Molly did, but he chooses not to let it define him. And he has no problem helping the people that need it, even more than what they would want. But I actually loved that about him. He has a need to help the people he cares about-even when they don't want him to. I was surprised with just how much these two complemented each other. I thought they wouldn't mesh, and they did beyond belief! The suspense was something I wasn't expecting, but it just added to the story and kept me reading! Now I need Gramps story because the way this ended just left me needing to know even more!

WOW! This book was freakin’ amazing! Probably one of my top favourites written by Stoker. She does such a fantastic job creating intense, action-packed love stories with amazing characters. Once I started, I couldn’t put it down until I finished.

From the start, the connection between Mark “Smoke” Chamberlin and Molly Smith was intense and heartfelt. Despite the circumstances of their meeting, and the death and danger stalking Molly, communication and understanding helped this couple build an amazing and strong connection. Love really can conquer all if you believe in positive thinking.

Trusting Molly is the third book in Susan Stoker’s new series, Silverstone. This book is an action packed romantic suspense novel with a happily ever after. It can be read as a stand alone, but reading it in order with give the reader a better appreciation for the characters and the series itself. I can’t wait for the next book in the series!

4.5⭐

This is only the second Silverstone book I've read. But I had no trouble following along, and it was a brilliant read. That started with a bang as Smoke literally falls into kidnapped Molly's life. And from that moment I was hooked as was Smoke, and the story only got more interesting as the Silverstone crew chose to keep Molly with them instead of handing her over to the waiting Nigerian forces.

And with a great cast of characters, a well-developed romance, and a stalker waiting stateside ready to cause problems. Trusting Molly was a great read and one I would happily recommend to others.

Tragedy follows Molly wherever she goes (they don’t call her Molly’s Folly for nothing), so she should have anticipated the worst when accompanying her job to Nigeria right? Fast forward a few months to one of her worst days when the guy of her dreams bumps into her and things start to change ( and by bump into, I mean fall onto her in the hole she’s being kept captive in). Smoke has seen his own fare share of tragedy but there’s something about Molly that brings the positive out in him as he races to save the day. When he finds out getting free from Nigeria just brings her back towards a different kind of mad man Smoke knows he can’t let her go it alone. This is an action packed, slow build romance, with a paramilitary angle that leaves you hoping for your own Silverstone hero. I really enjoyed to give and take balance between Molly and Smoke , which helps to counteract the many sad things that seem to befall Molly, as both leads are strong in their own right. This is book three in the Silverstone series so you’ll see a lot of familiar faces but you don’t have to have read the other books to enjoy this one, although I highly recommend that you do. I can’t wait for book four. I received an arc copy of this book from NetGalley and the publisher for my honest review. 4.5 stars

This is book three in The Silverstone Series and it is Molly and Smoke's story and omg it is a must read. Smoke is part of The Silverstone Team and in Nigeria hoping to find and rescue the girls and the engineer Molly Smith who was at the school when they were all kidnapped but when they eventually found the camp where they were all being held they knew this assignment wouldn't be easy. Molly had gone to Nigeria to get away from a ex that wouldn't leave her alone and then started stalking her but now she has been kidnapped and trying to escape had landed her in a whole.in the ground that she couldn't get out of and she was convinced that she would die there but then a man fell into the whole and said he would come back to get her and that is how she met Smoke and his Team which she wasn't expecting but grateful for. Then Molly gets devastating news after being rescued and goes to stay with Smoke who has the state of the art security as Molly's ex Preston is now stalking her again and he will not give in until she is dead and he is extremely dangerous so they all start protecting her while they find Preston. The more time that Molly and Smoke spend together the stronger there feelings for each other grow but will it be enough for them to have a happy ending or will everything fall apart. I absolutely love this book and I couldn't put it down as it was action packed and kept you on the edge of your seat wondering what else would happen and it was so addictive. Susan Stoker is an amazing author and writer and I definitely recommend you read this book, series and other books by her and you will definitely not be disappointed.

I Voluntarily Reviewed an Arc Copy of this Amazing and Emotional Book.

This was my first book by this author and I really enjoyed it! Smoke and Molly were perfect for each other and I loved all the side characters as well. I will definitely be going back and reading about the other women and I can't wait for the next book in this series!

Trusting Molly is a great addition to the Silverstone series. Molly can't seem to get her reputation as "Folly Molly" out of her head. While she's certainly been dealt her fair share of misfortune, she's hardly the magnet for disaster she believes herself to be. Smoke was everything alpha and protective I look forward to in a Susan Stoker novel. He was devoted to Molly from the moment he stumbled upon her in the jungle, and his support helped Molly regain her confidence and get rid of Folly Molly for good. The story was interesting and had plenty of twists to keep me from wanting to put it down. The guys of Silverstone are truly family and it's always enjoyable reading their dynamic whether taking out terrorists or joking with one another. The setup for Gramps book at the end has me anticipating the next in series, I'm looking forward to it.

Smoke is way too good to be true…but don’t well all kind of want that sometimes. I have read many of Susan’s stories and they are all on the edge of your seat suspense. I have even cried several times while reading. This story is the same but there was something missing. I am not sure if it was the overdone fact that Molly keeps blaming herself for everything bad that happens or just the romance was not really special. That being said, I think Susan really brings to our attention the idea of mercenaries. Are they good guys? Are they bad guys? It is up to each individual how they see them.

This story could be ripped from today's headlines.
Molly is a teacher who was kidnapped, along with the girls she was teaching, from a jujngle village.
Mark, "Smoke" is a guerilla with a mission to get, kill the target hiding in the jungle, and get out. He finds the hostages and releases them into safety.
When Molly returns to the U.S., she finds her grandparents murdered and she is still a target. Enter Mark again. He vows to protect her, but different circumstances and threats appear that test their relationship.
I really liked this book. Well written and real enough to capture your imagination.

All the action my heart could stand!

When the "meet-cute" is literally him falling for her -- and saving her life in the process -- you know it's going to be an intense, action-packed story. It's an entire immersive experience and left me with a huge book hangover.

Molly has always thought she had bad luck, but nothing compared to what she's going through now. Kidnapped by terrorists in Africa, her rescue is a side goal for the Silverstone team. Back in the US, she's lost her job and found that her grandparents were murdered, very likely by the man who's been stalking her for months.

Mark has carefully guarded his heart for years, but he's inexplicably drawn to Molly and can't help but become her knight in shining armor. Their romance is slow and sweet, but a little accidental eavesdropping instantly transformed everything and I absolutely adored their relationship from that point on.

The thrilling suspense of this book kept me glue to the page with all the lights on. Truly chilling stuff, and very well written. This is the kind of story that will haunt you while at the same time restoring your faith in humanity. Not for the faint at heart, but if you like pulse-pounding scenes this is the book for you. The HEA was spot on, with a strong lead-in to the next book in the series. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

This is another brilliant addition to the Silverstone series. Mark “Smoke” Chamberlin is a member of this exclusive team they where special forces guys but when they where burnt by command they where threatened that they would be separated and not allowed to resign when there latest enrolment was finished But a saviour came to there aid and now they work to take out the worst of the worst wherever in the world that is needed This is Smokes story He is the one with the inheritance that allowed them to set up Silverstone towing and give them the cover that they need but it has also made him suspicious of women he never knows if they want him or his inheritance That question isn't an issue when they rescue Molly she has no idea who he is other than her rescuer. Smoke takes her home with him and soon he is working to help her get her life back in order but danger is threatening can he and the team keep her safe You will have to read to see

3 1/2 Stars for this suspenseful romance.

To get away from an ex-boyfriend, Molly goes on an assignment with work to Nigeria. She ends up being kidnapped along with a group of school girls. After months in captivity, Silverstone Security comes to rescue the school girls and kill their captor. They thought that Molly was long dead, but they find her in a hole in the ground half starved to death. Mark's nickname is Smoke because he can disappear and reappear at will. But when he trips and falls into a hole and lands on Molly, he can't get the feisty woman out of his head. When they get back to the US, Mark moves her into his house for her protection from her ex-boyfriend.

The premise of this book is good, but I just couldn't get into the characters. It just seemed odd that Molly didn't think twice about staying at Mark's place when she knew him for less than a week. But I did like that she was a strong woman who was resilient. Mark was a very alpha man and isn't that something every woman wants?

Molly has the worst luck ever so being kidnapped while in Nigeria is just more proof of it. Smoke is happy to find Molly alive and he knows instantly that fate has plans for them. He just has to keep her safe from her stalker ex.

I liked it. Smoke is a pretty good guy and generous to a fault.

This book was almost like two different stories. There was the exciting rescue-hostage-in-a-foreign-country portion of the book, and then there was the insta-love-come-stay-with-me-and-I'll-protect-you-from-your-crazy-ex portion of the book. The beginning, and rescue part of the story, was action packed and exciting. The crazy ex wants revenge part was just ok. This was the first book I have read by this author and I did really appreciate her writing style and ability to build suspense. I will definitely read more books by this author.

I received an arc from NetGalley and this is my honest opinion.
Mark and Molly’s story will blow you away. This book is well written and you will be wrapped up in their story from start to finish.
Mark rescues Molly in Nigeria after she was kidnapped. Both feel an instant attraction but wonder if this is lasting love because it hit them with a force. Great read and an author I would recommend.

My favorite part about Trusting Molly was the way Smoke fell instantly for Molly. He felt an immediate connection and he worked hard at keeping that connection and making something of it. He was protective and very caring towards Molly. He treated her like a queen. What could you possibly not like about that?

Molly was a bit harder for me, only because she had a bit of a negative personality. That is just a bit of a struggle for me and I wanted her to be better for Smoke. Good news is he coached her into taking less self blame and thinking more positively. Another win for Smoke's love and care for her.

Like a the rest of the series, the suspense in the book really keeps you engaged to what is happening in the book. I also really love seeing all the same main characters in each book. I can't wait for Gramps to get his HEA!
