Thank you Netgalley, publisher and Susan Stoker for an ARC in exchange for an honest review!

I have read the previous two books in the Silverstone Series and I absolutely loved them. Susan Stoker has quickly become one of my favorite authors. Trusting Molly is the third book in the Silverstone series and boy did it not disappoint. It was the perfect blend of high powered action and swoon worthy romance. Molly has having the worst case of bad luck but thank goodness Mark literally dives onto her to save her from that bad luck. I devoured this story in 1 day that's how good it was but I'm not really surprised because all of Susan Stoker's books suck you in from the beginning. The chemistry between the two main characters and the inclusion of Mark's (aka Smoke) crew light up the page. The end of every story really starts the next book which really draws you in. I can't wait to read Gramps story! I can't wait to read the continuation of this series!

This author never fails to hold your interest in her books from beginning to end. When Silverstone is on a mission to kill a notorious child trafficker. Who has taken some school girls and 1 female American, Ghost aka Mark literally falls on top of her. Talking about being rescued, Molly never expects to have her rescuer fall into the same hole she has spent months in.. oh what a rescuer he is to. Read their story.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley. The opinions expressed in this review are completely my own

Trusting Molly was truly a great read. Mark and Molly were definitely destined to meet. The stealthy Delta force soldier who literally falls into the American hostage's lap was a bonus for their mission. The danger that surrounds Molly is incredible. I enjoyed tremendously their journey. This story is definitely a success.

In a reiteration of the damsel-in-distress meets dashing hero trope, Susan Stoker introduces us to two perplexing characters, Molly and Smoke, who thrive together through a series of angsty misfortunes that include being kidnapped in a foreign land, murder, abusive stalkers, physical assault, contagious illness, gun violence, and kidnapping. It's a wonder the main duo ever finds time for a lusty romp.

Smoke, a member of the mysterious mercenary group SIlverstone, meets our heroine, Molly, as he's hunting a group of kidnapped schoolgirls through remote jungle territory. Molly, a woman bold enough to travel alone to a foreign country, is introduced as a strong, brave woman even as she surrenders the oh-so-difficult task of managing life to a handsome stranger she just met. Despite fleeing an abusive relationship, Molly is utterly content to live within the confines of Smoke's comfortable prison, agreeing not to leave his house and to only have contact with people he approves for her, because of a lurking danger.

As it becomes apparent that Molly's ex is a deranged psychopath hellbent on doing her serious harm, she falls into helplessness, relying on Smoke to provide food, shelter, friendship, and safety. Smoke is happy to defend his woman, but he unfortunately proves an incompetent protector who chaperones Molly to.a variety of situations where she faces assault, contracts an acute illness, and lands in the clutches of her former beau. Is it dumb luck that saves our heroine? A telepathic connection to our hero? An incompetent villain?

Confused? Me too.

While the woeful tale of Molly's misfortunes proved an entertaining, brainless read, I can't identify a single element of this novel that distinguishes it from a multitude of other novels in this particular genre of romance. If you liked Stoker's other novels or books like Maya Bank's KGI Series, you'll enjoy this too. Personally, I found Molly's lack of agency and personification of victimization overwhelmed my ability to fully enjoy the story. Smoke's condescending mansplaining about grief, trauma, and rebuilding a life after tragedy also felt trite, unless having a man dictate your life floats your boat. Which, to be fair, is part of the appeal of heroic cavemen.

It's a fun read with nothing particularly special to recommend it.

Silverstone has quickly become one of my favorite series by Susan Stoker. I’ve enjoyed all of her books but there’s just something about this series that really draws me in. Whatever it is, each story is better than the one before and I’m down the rabbit hole until the end. Susan’s writing style makes it easy to be drawn to these characters and invested in the outcome of their stories. I love the close-knit nature of the team and their relationships with their employees at Silverstone and how they welcome new people into the fold.

This book starts in an unusual way with the team already in the middle of an op in the Nigerian jungle to eliminate their current target and help rescue kidnapped school girls, and hopefully find a missing American school teacher along the way. In the middle of executing their op, Smoke gets an added surprise of finding the school teacher in a most unexpected way. Once they meet, there’s no turning back. Their connection is immediate and forms a bond that deepens into an amazing relationship for them both.

I love how Molly and Smoke’s relationship develops and her relationships with the rest of the guys and their women. The genuine feelings and protective sides of all the guys with their women is completely swoon-worthy and endearing.

This book will definitely hold your attention with action, danger, suspense, romance, sexy times, humor, excitement and an array of emotions. Molly and Smoke definitely have to work for their HEA and it's an intense, edge of your seat journey with a beautiful ending.

Every time I wonder how Susan is gonna do it. She makes me fall in love with all her heroes. And those heroines are SO STRONG. I love reading about strong women.

Another winner here.

If you're looking for a fast-paced romantic suspense and aren't concerned if it lacks some depth, Trusting Molly, by Susan Stoker, is for you. I don't mean that comment disparagingly (mostly); sometimes you really just want an easy read, and Stoker, as usual, delivers.

In this third book of the Silverstone series, the men of Silverstone are in Nigeria on the hunt for a Boko Haram leader who has escaped into the jungle with dozens of kidnapped schoolgirls. Silverstone is aware that an American environmental engineer was taken along with the girls; their mission is to take out the leader, but they're keeping their eyes out for Molly just in case. As luck would have it, Smoke (Mark) literally falls into Molly's lap. The guys complete their mission and ultimately return to the States with Molly in tow. Molly, in spite of being tossed in a hole and starved for months, is none the worse for wear.

While the Nigeria adventure is billed as the book's plot, it's really just an elaborate meet-[not]-cute setup for Mark and Molly. Once back in the States, the conflict becomes Molly being stalked by a murderous ex.

I was somewhat disappointed that the fallout from Molly's kidnapping--a kidnapping and near starvation in a Nigerian jungle, people--was more or less brushed aside. Aside from a brief mention of nightmares finally ending (a mere few weeks after being rescued FROM BOKO HARAM), Molly doesn't seem to have suffered any adverse effects. I just...I needed her to need to talk with a professional. It's somewhat shameful that Mark didn't encourage it if Molly didn't come up with it herself. It wouldn't have made Molly seem less brave or strong, and it would have been validating for many readers. Dunno.

Anyway, so the real conflict is Molly's ex, Preston, stalking her. As a villain, Preston is an over-the-top Dastardly Dan kind of looney toon who is hard to take seriously. Some people might like this kind of bad guy; for me, I was more annoyed by him then anything else

As for Mark and Molly's relationship, I didn't really feel much chemistry between them, though I rooted for their HEA anyway. Individually, Molly is a decent heroine, plucky and brave. That she has a certain level of low self esteem is actually something I like about her. Mark is sweet and generous, and he's deliciously macho. I think I just needed to see them connecting more.

I received an ARC of this book from the publisher and Netgalley in exchange for my honest opinion. Thanks!

This is another installment of the Silverstone series. Each story is rather predictable, with unforeseen danger and an eventual resolution. Still, this is a good story with likeable characters and a goo reason to escape into a book.

I read a lot of Susan Stoker's series, and can often find that they get repetitive. This series feels like a little bit of an exception to that rule. I'm not sure if it's that the male leads are not full-time military, the female leads are less cookie cutter, or that she's doing a better job of creating more diverse background characters (even if her leads are still predominantly white). I appreciated that Molly was shown working through her issues after so many traumas, but like most of these female leads, I really need to see her going to therapy. I found Mark/Smoke to be a little more one-dimensional, but the balance mostly worked. While this is a stand-alone, I would strongly recommend starting with the first two books.

Mark and his team are in Nigeria, and luck out and find kidnapped Molly as well. Sparks fly and he doesn't want to let her go, so takes her home when they return stateside. Creepy stalker, and felt more on her company should have happened, but otherwise a good story and one I highly recommend.

This is the third book in this series. It could be read as a standalone. I have read the previous books and enjoyed them. I think knowledge of the other books would enrich the world building but the author fills readers in on the back story. When a group of former special forces members join to save others by sometimes eliminating threats, they use their skills in secrecy. Molly was held hostage and is often a victim in this book. She and Smoke were drawn to each other from the moment they first set eyes on each other, which is when he fell into the hole in the ground where she was held. Molly is a survivor and possesses an inner strength. Smoke is a nurturer and they are intriguing, as are all the characters in this series. I'm intrigued by the ending and hopeful for the next book!

Yet another awesome book from Susan Stoker. I love Smoke and Molly--they're great together. My only criticism is that the ending seemed a bit abrupt/rushed. Otherwise, excellent book!

I love this series about 4 guys who are chosen brothers fighting hard to rid evil in the world. Molly believes she is bad luck andMark is the right person to save her. He teaches her to see the positive and together they find their happy ending. Another great story in this series!

This is the third book in the Silverstone series and it is a perfect addition to the series! On a mission to find a leader of Boko Haram in Nigeria, the Smoke and the men of Silverstone unexpectedly find Molly a woman that was kidnapped by the terrorist group. But for Molly being rescued from the terrorists, is not her only problem. It seems that she is also the target of a stalker. Luckily for Molly, Smoke doesn't want to leave her side now that he's met her. This book is a definite page turner and once again proves Susan Stoker certainly knows romantic suspense!

Trusting Molly😍

Trusting Molly is book three in the Silverstone series and I absolutely loved it❣️Molly finds herself in Nigeria to escape from her personal life back in Chicago when she finds herself kidnapped along with some schoolgirls😢 Unbeknownst to her, the Silverstone crew are in Nigeria hunting down the man who kidnapped her and the girls when Smoke finds himself on top of Molly, at the bottom of a hole😳

Now she’s returned to the US with the team but her past is catching up and she’s starting to have feelings for Smoke but not sure if her feelings are returned and everything seems to be too good to be true and she’s waiting for the other shoe to drop.

A great story with a great introduction to Gramp’s story that I’m absolutely keen to get my hands on now🤩 I received an advanced copy via Netgalley and voluntarily leave my honest review❤️

This was so good. I've read most of Susan Stoker's book and was so excited when I got this book from NetGalley to read.
Molly was kidnapped in Nigeria and Storm and his team were sent in to rescue some school kids and Molly if they found her. Storm literally fell on top of her and was shocked to see her. Once they got home, they had to deal with her stalker who was going to try and kill her.
Lots of romance, drama, kidnapping and relief. It was great to visit with the Silverstone guys again. Looks like Gramps will get his women next. YAY!!
A very well written story with likeable characters. I hated to put my kindle down until I finished it

Another book by Susan Stoker that I fully enjoyed. An wonderful story that kept me on the edge of my seat and wondering what ill happen next. There are so many twist and turns in this story, I could never predict what was coming next. The two main characters, Molly and Mark (Smoke) are great together. He is her protector and she has horrible luck. Trusting Molly is part of a series however can be read as a stand alone. I can not wait to read the next installment in the Silverstone's series. I would recommend this story.

I received an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.

This story is action packed and the perfect slow burn beach read. Molly and Smoke are made for each other. He’s a protector and she has been told all her life she’s bad luck.

Trusting Molly is the latest book in Susan Stoker's Silverstone series. I love this series and this book. Smoke and Molly are exactly what they each need. They believe in each other and once they get through this terrifying period they have a chance for a life together. The author always gives hints about the next book and I'm already looking forward to it. I'd like to see Archer get a little romance too. He and his daughter deserve a HEA.

Susan Stoker brings another great heart-pounding installment in the Silverstone series about another of these ex-military men and a beautiful scientist suffering from family tragedy.

When Mark “Smoke” Chamberlin and the Silverstone crew venture into the Nigerian jungle their sole mission is to kill the target and to make it out alive. But while going through that jungle looking for their target Mark literally falls unto an unexpected surprise.

Schoolteacher Molly Smith seems to be unable to outrun bad luck. While on a teaching mission in Nigeria teaching young girls she ends up along with them kidnapped and held in the jungle. When Smoke and him team rescue her she hopes her luck has changed until she learns that her beloved grandparents have been murdered.

Smoke has been cautious as far and love goes because there are always ulterior motives when women show an interest in him. But meeting Molly brings out his protective mode and unexpected feelings. Molly always has considered herself bad luck and finds it hard to believe that someone like Mark would be interested in her.

When the threat that led to Molly taking that mission to Nigeria returns with a vengeance Mark and the Silverstone team will be working overtime to keep Molly safe.
