Thank you to NetGalley for this book. I gave it an easy 5 stars. I love WW2 fiction and this one was great. It’s about the women who worked and raised their families when their husbands were gone. My grandmother worked in a factory in Michigan during the war and had two small children and they lived in a tent for a while. Highly recommended.

This was absolutely delightful and a wonderful sequel to Dear Mrs. Bird. "Yours Cheerfully" is a story of the power of friendship, love, and the very real challenges of war. The plot was well-paced and developed. The characters were completely charming, real, and authentic. This is a new favorite and one I'll return to again and again. Many thanks to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for the advanced copy of the book.

Loved this book! Mrs. Bird has left the magazine and Emmie steps I to her formidable role. A charming storyline set during WW2 where the power of women and female friendships shine through. An utterly charming read.

As a big fan of Dear Mrs. Bird, I was delighted to be able to read an advance copy of the sequel. To refresh my memory, since I read Dear Mrs. Bird 3 years ago, I skimmed it and once again really enjoyed it. I was equally thrilled with Yours Cheerfully. I was happy to read more about the original characters and liked the new ones introduced in this one. This book brought the historical period to life and raised issues not usually written about in other books covering this period of time. It was written in a way that made the book very exciting and suspenseful, and I flew through the book. I'm looking forward to the next installment and highly recommend the series.
