A slow burn mystery/thriller that I couldn't put down! While the story of Helen, Daniel, Rory and Serena slowly unfolds, things start getting more interesting when Rachel is introduced to the group and weird things start happening. It becomes clear that Rachel has alternative reasons for befriending Helen, but the question remains of why?
I loved that the story was told from 3 different points of view, each revealing pieces of the puzzle. While I was able to piece some of it together, the ending left me surprised and pleasantly happy that it ended without leaving me with unanswered questions.

I was unable to review the book because I was not able to read the book. Due to technical difficulties with NetGalley, I only found it now in a shelf I didn’t know existed. It is now too late to read the book.

This seemed right up my alley from the description and I absolutely love the cover. I really enjoyed this one and couldn't put it down. Enjoyable plot, interesting characters, good atmosphere.

During a prenatal class, Helen and her friend Serena meet Rachel, a super friendly pregnant woman. But Rachel is a little different from the other mothers— she is outspoken, drinks alcohol and smokes. But Helen gives her the benefit of the doubt anyway because she is a little lonely and could use a friend.

After a while, things get unsettling when Rachel seems suddenly appears wherever Helen is, uninvited. What follows is a series of odd happenings: missing items and secret notes, to name a few.

Helen's friendship with Rachel starts to negatively impact her marriage and relationship with her family— it's not the relaxing pregnancy she'd hoped for.

Overall I really enjoyed the story, and found it exciting and interesting enough to keep me engaged the whole time. Would recommend it for psychological thriller lovers and those who enjoy Lisa Jewell.

Enjoyable enough but not that memorable of a storyline- I finished just a week ago but I am struggling to remember.

This book kept me guessing and intrigued. The main character was ditzy and naive but kept me rooting for her. The ending wasn't obvious and I enjoyed the story development.

This book was an absolute pleasure to read. Anything by Katherine Faulkner is actually. I highly recommend this book.

I started this one as a buddy read first weekend in February.

The story begins following Helen pregnant girl who has her fair share of loss. Her Husband works for the family business along with Helens Brother. Her Brothers wife is also expecting.

Helen and her husband start prenatal classes in their neighbourhood but she finds herself alone, her husband is stuck "working" and her sister-in-law as cited she found something she will enjoy more in their part of town. Helen meets Rachel another "single" party at the classes.

Rachel latches onto Helen and starts popping up everywhere in her life wiggling her way into a more permanent spot as a roommate.

I can't tell you more then that because holy moly this last bit of the book will take you on a rollercoaster. It is wild!

I am always on mystery/thriller. It is a good opportunity to dive in head first into the book, and stay there for a while without much thinking- just following (preferably good narrative and gripping story). Greenwich Park was quite good. I did find some part very disturbing because I was pregnant at the same time and it was a bit cringe for me. On the other hand, it was still interesting to follow main characters and I was never sure who was the main perpetrator.

Overall, quite a good gripping thriller.

This novel taught a couple lessons in life 1) some secrets are hard to keep and 2) the world is truly a small place. Katherine Faulkner is a great storyteller introducing and following the characters lives seamlessly. I enjoyed this novel immensely and barrelled through the pages quickly. What happens if you meet someone, make friends with them but then have to distance yourself when you realize the person is not good news?

“Greenwich Park” is the story of Helen Thorpe who lives in a Victorian house in a well-manicured neighborhood in London. She has a seemingly perfect husband, Daniel, and is pregnant again after miscarrying. (Faulkner has structured the book into weeks which works perfectly as a ticking clock counting down to the baby’s birth.)

Her life begins to unravel spectacularly as the result of a friendship she makes with an unpredictable fellow mother at her first prenatal class. She’s intimidated at the idea of making friends, so when a slightly strange woman offers her friendship so readily Helen finds her enthusiasm quite seductive.

The friendship quickly goes in a strange direction. It becomes clear that the super annoying Rachel has an ulterior motive for seeking out Helen’s friendship and that she is, in some way, connected to Helen and the pasts of those close to her. She has knowledge of a dark secret which threatens to destroy them. The tension is ratcheted up, bit by bit, as Rachel inveigles herself further and further into Helen’s life.

The book is broken into multiple perspectives and the events of Greenwich Park unfold through Helen, Katie, and Serena.

Serena is Helen’s elegant, poised and cold sister-in-law who is married to her older brother, Rory, and pregnant at the same time as Helen.

Katie, a journalist, is Helen’s childhood friend, a grounding influence who has Helen’s interests at heart. She begins to investigate Rachel’s sudden appearance in their lives.

Faulkner’s debut is an exploration of pregnancy, female friendships and the dynamics between women. With many mysterious twists and turns, “Greenwich Park” is a suspenseful, multifaceted page-turner.

I loved this debut novel by Katherine Faulkner! It was a fun and twisty novel to read. This is told through multiple POVs. I had so many suspicions but the twists kept me guessing. I do recommend this book,

Best psychological thriller. I couldn’t t put this one down. It’s dark in some ways and it gets twisted. This is a slower-paced, character-building story, filled with
red herrings and a lot of foreboding. The ending was very clever and truly
satisfying.

LOved this book so much. I couldn't put it down. I found myself staying up way too late to finish a chapter then wanting to carry on. The perspective of the different narrators was great. This was an easy read and very engaging!

This book fits nicely into the upper middle class psychological thriller trope of which there is apparently no shortage. While I questioned the insta-friendship between Helen and Rachel and Helen's need to allow Rachel into every facet of her life, and I really didn't care for many (any) of the four main characters, the story held up pretty well.

I found this book to be a pretty sold read, and I absolutely loved the ending, which bumped it up to four stars for me.

I really enjoyed this twisty story about a woman, Helen, who meets an unusual friend named Rachel at a pre-natal class. Helen's husband is an architect, who works with Helen's brother at their late father's firm. Helen, her husband, her brother, and his wife live close to each other, and spend a lot of time together - and the two women are pregnant at the same time. Rachel begins to insert herself into their lives, and strange coincidences start to occur. I don't want to say much more, except that I'm glad I was on vacation when I read this one, because it was hard to put down!! 😁✅👍

Things are going well for Helen. Pregnant and happily married she starts going to prenatal classes. Her handsome husband Daniel is unable to join because he is so busy at work. Daniel works with Rory, Helen’s older brother at architectural firm Rory inherited after their parents died. Rory and his wife are expecting their first child too. They were all supposed to attend the same prenatal class but Serena decided at the last minute to switch to a class closer to home. All alone, Helen ends up being paired up with Rachel who is also on her own. The outgoing and clingy Rachel quickly befriends Helen. Helen finds Rachel’s smoking and drinking while pregnant unsettling.
Experiencing a high risk pregnancy Helen has had to go on maternity leave early. With the house undergoing renovations, Helen seeks peace and quiet in her Greenwich Park neighbourhood. Out and about Helen starts to run into Rachel frequently. Lonely, Helen reluctantly becomes friends with Rachel. It quickly becomes apparent that Rachel has secrets but she isn’t the only one.
I enjoyed reading GREENWICH PARK. The story was well paced and the characters were interesting. GREENWICH PARK proved to be great escape reading.

This was all over Bookstagram and was HIGH on my list, the characters and story fell flat for me. Was a big old DNF. I wanted to love this one - but didnt. I would try another one by the same author. Or maybe need to try the book at a different time.

I definitely loved this read and did not want to put it down. The switch between perspectives was a great way to keep you engaged, while also seeing different storylines that end up merging. All the characters were well developed and likeable.

There were twists and turns I did not see coming, which I really was impressed with. Overall a great read worth adding to your TBR!

I love a good fast-paced thriller with twists and turns. Some were harder to follow but did not affect the overall enjoyability. I really enjoyed this fast-paced thriller. The story begins with Helen and a woman she befriends at her prenatal class. And then this woman appears everywhere. Things continue to happen that seem to be bringing us back to Helen’s college days, and an incident that occurred then. Overall it was interesting, exciting and kept me hooked and not wanting to put the book down. If anything threw me off, it’s the unreliable narrator trope.
