This is an excellent addition to the baking library . Taking the no knead approach as it’s base to develop bread making, Mark Bittman and Kerri Conan lead the reader through a step by step approach of an array of delicious breads and how to develop a starter dough that needs little assistance. The book explores a range of bakes- savoury and sweet utilising the basic starter . I’ve already got the starter developing and look forward to the outcome and returning to this book in the months ahead. I also liked the dialogue between Mark and Kerri and the direct- to -reader style of writing plus the scientific info.
