What fun. This board book tells a giant story in few words. Playing with your food and eating are sometimes the same things. Bunny tells this story well.

I really enjoyed this book. It was a great storyline with excellent characters. I would highly recommend this book as it was a great read.

They find this book funny and hilarious. A mixture of reality and fantasy was a really good way to tell the kids not to play with their food.

This was super cute! The art is just adorable, I loved the illustrations. The text is imaginative and fun- Bunny has been given a carrot by it's mother, and is having all kinds of fun playing pretend ("Space Hero Bunny battles the evil Zorks in their Carrotship," for example. Mother interrupts his play to admonish him- "Bunny! Don't play with your food!" -to no avail. When the carrot is finally eaten, Bunny doesn't know what to do, he wants to keep playing. Fortunately, Bunny the Pirate comes to the rescue- "Aarrr! Motherrr! I must be having anotherrr carrot!" This would be a fun storytime book- it's short and not too wordy, the different scenarios are perfect for doing fun voices, the pictures are bold and colorful, and kids can relate to being told not to play with their food. Loved it!

I loved the illustrations in this book- adorable. Bunny becomes a dinosaur, a pirate, and lots of other things throughout the book all while eating his carrot. This is a fun book to read to children who might also play with their food while eating it.

Perfect for little ones with big imaginations! Nice picture book with a simple story, but felt like it kinda lacked a conclusion and was a little short. Overall a super sweet book that I think even for older toddlers could help facilitate some fun conversations about imagination and open-ended play.

This was a very cute and entertaining book. The scenarios that the bunny was making up in their head were very imaginative. The illustrations were great and I think this would be an enjoyable book for young children.

I read this book with a 5 year old. He was borderline not interested at all. Definitely a book for pre K with large pictures, easy to see. Short This book was provided by Net Galley in exchange for an honest review.

I love this little book!
Bunny plays with his food and uses his imagination to think up different things, like being a dinosaur munching the treetops and being a zombie.

I am a huge fan of children’s books and this one has potential, however, falls slightly short for me.

The illustrations were striking and I enjoyed the balance between Bunny’s reality and where a little bit of his imagination led him.

The transition from reality to imagination and back did not feel seamless, more of a rocky road. The tale may have benefited from slightly different verbiage, or additional verbiage to support these transitions.

Overall, the book was a cute, enjoyable children’s tale, however, left an impression the book’s overall messaging will get lost and would have been more impactful if there was more functional transition from the “real world” to the world of make believe.

There was something immensely entertaining about this story. I think kids will respond well to the imagination of Bunny and parents will like that the focus of snack time is a vegetable.

A cute, super short book for young children. The illustrations are adorable and the phrases are short chunks to keep attention of the littles. All in all, a good addition to a bookshelf.

Cute book which I imagine would be really fun to read out loud to or along with young readers. There are points in the book when you can make voices like zombie or pirate. Simple, straight forward story.

Oh my goodness- this book was SO MUCH FUN to read to my son. If anyone has a kid that gets a complete kick out of having stories read to them with many funny voices, then this is definitely a book to add to your shelf. While you’re making your kid crack up, you’ll also be giving him/her fun ideas that may encourage them to eat! This one is a winner.

The illustrations in this book are brilliant! I loved the character and the message it portrays.

I had to read it twice to get the gist of the story but think my 2 year old would like it.

I would definitely look out for further titles by this author.

In this charming picture book, the bunny imagines various scenarios for his carrot while eating it. His adventures are great for inspiring imagination, although some parents may not want to encourage children to play with their vegetables!

The bunny on the inside is much cuter than the scary vampire-bunny on the cover.

Recommended for bunny lovers, picky eaters, and kids who think outside the box.

This fun picture book follows a very imaginative bunny as he eats a carrot as many different characters. This will be a wonderful read aloud with younger students, I'll be buying it for my prek- fifth grade library.
