Sisters Of The Vine by Linda Rosen

A wife, and a mother, has planted grape vines. Her husbands leaves them and she has to harvest the grapes on her own.

A delightful story.

What a caiman can accomplish when she puts her mind to it. Characters were lovely.
Strong determined women. I recommend this book.

Thanks to Net Galley for sending me an advanced reader’s copy for my review.

This book holds more than just a lovely story of triumph and tenacity. The cycle of domestic violence and abuse is highlighted and this book gives courage to women in the same position. It’s well written and this writer holds promise.

A book of sisterhood and wine that takes the reader through the first waves of the feminist movement. If you didn't live it, this would be an interesting read to see what life was like for some women back then. But I felt it was a little stereotypical and it fell flat for me in many parts. Despite that, it's an enjoyable read.

Thank you NetGalley, Linda Rosen and Black Rose Writing for the copy of Sisters of the Vine. This is my personal review.
I absolutely loved this book! Liz has a life she feels needs a change. She has done all that is considered the normal things in life but knows there is more out there she wants to do. Her marriage is not what it seems, and this helps her make decisions on what to do.
She has decided to use the land she and her husband had bought and start a vineyard. Along with the help of her self-made sisterhood family.
The camaraderie of her friends and a lot of hard work she knows that her life is changing in a way she feels good.
